We booked this bartending service for our rooftop "backyard" wedding for 7 hours, and we were promised an experienced mixologist. Instead, we got a bartender who couldn’t make a si...
ngle drink. We provided our list of signature drinks with the ingredients. One of our signature cocktails was a Paloma—grapefruit soda, tequila, and lime. Guests were served glasses full of lime juice with a splash of tequila. Even if she hadn’t made one before, you would think that basic common sense should have kicked in... The other signature drink was an Old Fashioned, and those were also not made properly. Our guests were frustrated and started making their own drinks—something that the bartender encouraged. My cousin took it upon herself to take over bartending duties instead of enjoying the wedding. She stood by the bar, telling guests to grab their own waters, sodas, and beers from the cooler. After that, the bartender just wandered around aimlessly and left early.
I’ve been emailing with the Signature Bar & Events team about this issue. They requested two weeks to contact the bartender they sent... over two weeks have passed and they have yet to provide any explanation for what happened. This experience was a total letdown on what should have been a special day. All that to say... don't book Signature Bar & Events.
