What started as a creative outlet soon became a calling, leading her to pursue a career in Cosmetology and immerse herself in the artistry of beauty. Her journey began inside a boutique photography salon, where she discovered her passion for creating camera-ready looks that made every client feel radiant and seen. Working hand-in-hand with photographers, Mercedes styled for everything from family and senior portraits to editorial and bridal sessions, mastering the art of timeless beauty through every lens. Ever dedicated to her craft, Mercedes continuously seeks growth through advanced education and artistry training. She’s traveled to Seattle and Scottsdale for premier hair shows and studied under international celebrity makeup artist Robert Jones, earning her Master Makeup Artist Certification.
