I was hesitant at first because our design needed to use fondant icing. I have always hated fondant and did not want it for our wedding cake. Vicki reassured me that her fondant is very thin and edible. I remained hesitant about it until I finally got to taste our cake. It was AMAZING!! Our guests loved our cake so much that we barely had any left - just enough for Sean and I and my parents to take some with us. We may not make it until our anniversary to eat our top layer! There were literally people coming up to us at the wedding asking us where the cake was from - it was THAT good! After my husband and I got back from the honeymoon, we had some of the leftover cake. I have no idea how this is possible, but it was still moist and delicious!! Vicki has a great personality and was so fun to work with when it came to designing the cake. 100% recommend Signature Cakes by Vicki!!

She was very generous and asked us what our budget was. She dropped her price to match our budget saving us almost half price of the original estimate. She included delivery out of city for free and several other discounts for us. We were very pleased with the result of the cake. It was beautiful and delicious. We had many compliments on the cake.

e had an Old South theme at our wedding and the cake had gorgeous Victorian designs and the flavors were amazing. She gave us a sketch of the cake she had in mind and even sent a sample of all of her flavors home for my mom because she fell and couldn't come with us. I have never seen a cake so gorgeous, or tasted one so good! I have several friends who have also had the pleasure of her cake at their wedding, and they are always unique, gorgeous and out of this world tasty!

At our meeting, she did a sketch of it and took a copy of my photo. I was still nervous that it wouldn't actually look like the picture. On the day of my wedding I couldn't believe how amazing it was. I had so many compliments that it was the most beautiful wedding cake anyone had seen. It looked EXACTLY like the photo!!! I wish I could post pictures on here of the magazine photo and the cake so you could appreciate how good she is. And the TASTE! At our meeting, neither of us had never tasted such amazing cake flavors. My fiance doesn't even like sweets and he loved the samples. We decided on each layer having a layer of strawberry and a layer of banana making it a strawberry banana cake! And to top it off, her buttercream frosting is amazing, and the fondant didn't taste near as bad as others I've had. It was delivered on time and she sent me photos of it after the wedding which I appreciated, even though we did have a photographer. We can't wait till our first anniversary to eat more of our cake! If you want to have the best cake ever, go to Vicki!!!

In fact, after meeting with Vicki and tasting all of the flavors, we couldn't narrow down our choices. We had 3 flavors of wedding cake and 2 flavors of groom's cake. For only a 90 person wedding reception!!! No regrets. Delicious. I wish I had some right now. The consultation with Vicki was a collaborative effort and just like what I had imagined, she literally took out a sketch pad and before our very eyes drew our wedding cake. It was better than I had pictured. On the wedding day, it was almost perfect. The only negative I would say is that there were a couple elements of the cake that didn't translate exactly as planned. The cake was supposed to have a corset back like my dress but it had buttons instead. Also there were going to be replicated brooches (also from my dress) but instead the ones on the cake were exactly like the ones from her shop and nothing like the ones I was asked to send her. To the guests, no one would know the difference. To me, it wasn't what we had discussed and was a bit disappointing. The taste, however, was still there.

will admit I was kind of skeptical when you meet with her at her home, but they are just as good (if not better) than any bakery you will go to. She spends your first meeting talking with you about what you envision for you cake, and then DRAWS you a picture of what you want so you can actually see a visual picture of what you will be getting! And what we got looked exactly like what we had come up with during our meeting. She was willing to take risks that other bakery's said they wouldn't try (we wanted a plum purple fondant icing for our bottom layer, and everyone else said purple turns black, but it turned out to be the most vibrant dark purple). Everyone commented on how pretty our cake was and how they'd never seen one like it! And Vicki was also very helpful the whole time through any time I sent her emails with any question or change, and even helped me surprise my husband with a groom's cake without telling him. I won't lie, it's quite expensive, but it's not any more expensive than any of the bakery's we looked at (actually a little cheaper), but as my dad always said, "you get what you pay for", and her cake was definitely worth it...you won't be disappointed!!! :)

She is a bit pricey, but I think that in the end, her quality is better than anyone else out there. So that you have some numbers, my cake was for 130 people, 4 tiers, and highly decorated, for $750.
