Fantastic! They provided our wedding cake which was delicious, along with mini desserts! We went with the cherry almond filling with half vanilla/half chocolate in our wedding cake, it was so good! They are wonderful to work with as well! Definitely recommend for all occasions!

Working with Linda at Signature Desserts was great! They were very flexible with creating a package that worked for you. We opted to go for a 3 tier cake along with 2 sheet cakes so that we could have a mix of flavors. Their cakes are DELICIOUS and very affordable! The portions were super generous and we got lots of compliments on the cake. It’s also great that you get an anniversary voucher to get a cake on your anniversary, instead of having to worry about freezing the cake.

Our cake was so beautiful and tasted AMAZING! We had some leftover pieces a few days after the wedding and still was moist and tasted like the day of the wedding!

We worked with signature desserts for our wedding through the vendor package provided by our venue. Linda is a joy to talk to and we had so much fun at our appointments. They took care of every detail, Linda even ordered the flowers for our cake herself while walking us through the entire process. Everyone loved the cake and it was beautiful, exactly what we had envisioned. I am so thankful that they also provide a complimentary anniversary cake voucher so we didn’t have to freeze the top for a year! Through no fault of Signature Desserts, our guests were unable to enjoy their amazing selection of pastries. Linda had helped us hand select each item, pies, tarts, cheesecakes, all kinds of wonderful items, and had built it all out perfectly for our wedding and expected guest count. We were thankfully still able to have some with our family and even if you aren’t planning a wedding, you have to try every dessert offered by the bakery, they were all perfectly delicious. She was also so kind as to offer ways to correct this mistake even though it was once again, no fault of the bakery! I am so thankful for all the help that we received from them throughout the year of planning. They are a truly a wonderful family and we will be returning to Signature Desserts for years to come.

Linda and the folks at Signature Desserts were a dream to work with! We had an in-person consultation and tasting, and the tasting was by far the best of all of the cake places we sampled. We especially loved that the fillings were all real fruit! Also, instead of having to freeze the top layer for the next year, Signature provides a gift certificate for a fresh cake the year after your wedding! The taste was phenomenal and the pricing was very affordable; the package we chose included a two-tiered, two layer cake, as well as numerous sheet cakes to serve the guests from. Signature Desserts made the process so easy and stress-free, and the cake they provided was everything we could have imagined and more!

Highly recommend! We worked with Signature Desserts for our August 2021 wedding and chose them because we ate their delicious cake at a friend's wedding! We chose two different flavor combinations of cake for our guests - Vanilla with Raspberry and Cream Cheese and Chocolate with Peanut Butter Buttercream and Chocolate Ganache. Everyone loved it! Linda and the team were so wonderful to work with, and accommodating and flexible through one COVID postponement. We had a wonderful tasting session and they have packages to fit every need and budget!

All I can say is delicious! The cake was delicious and the staff was wonderful to work with. They will even give you a free cake for your one year anniversary so you don't need to eat nasty frozen cake! Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding!

Best wedding cake ever. I got married on Halloween and love chocolate cake. Signature Desserts made us the most gorgeous 4 tier chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream cake. The black glitter on the top tier was amazing and the ganache on other tiers just made for a gorgeous cake. I am excited for our one year anniversary to get our anniversary cake!! Our cake tasting was also so much fun. It was like old friends getting together and eating cake. 100% recommend.

Kinda made the cake for my daughter’s wedding and was was beautiful & delicious! Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream icing, raspberry & creme cheese filling. Kinda spent lots of time with the couple & offered lots of options.

Signature desserts created our wedding cake as well as 5 other desserts for our special day and we were overly impressed! We had carrot cake, Oreo cheesecake, apple pie, chocolate pie, and brownie bites. Our guests were obsessed! There was barely anything left at the end of the night. Would highly recommend!

I've always been a fan of Signature Desserts, a local bakery for us and after our venue had some trouble with booking a bakery, I was so happy when they were able to secure Signature Desserts for our wedding! We were able to meet with the owner and team quickly after to design our dream wedding cake. We also were able to select two flavors - white with strawberry buttercream and chocolate with peanut butter. Both were so delicious and we got many compliments from our guests! I loved having an option of flavors. Our cake was also beautifully designed and matched our theme perfectly. Thank you for making our wedding cake so special!

We had a wonderful experience working with Signature Desserts for our October 12, 2019 wedding at Bella Sera. Linda and Steve were great and willing to help bring my vision to life. Our cake was stunning and delicious! We received many compliments on the cake and we were so pleased that we selected them as our vendor. Signature also provides you with a certificate to return for a free cake on your one year anniversary. This way you don’t have to freeze anything but can still enjoy your wedding cake once again! My husband and I highly recommend them!!

Signature desserts is a go-to bakery for any wedding, bridal shower, or special occasion needs! I found signature desserts on theknot.com and i had not heard of them before. They are a locally owned shop in our area. My expectations were exceeded by the delicious baked good as well as the family-like service we received before our wedding. I felt so at home when planning with signature desserts. Our wedding cake turned out beautifully and exactly what we wanted! They brought our cookie table to life with a dessert buffet and absolutely nailed the “naked icing” cake we had wanted! I will never go to any grocery store or other bakery ever again. I go to signature desserts for all occasions now. I am NEVER disappointed in their quality or customer service. They are a must-have for any Pittsburgh wedding!

Signature desserts is hands down the best bakery around!! They were so helpful throughout the planning process and created the wedding cake of our dreams! It turned out so much prettier than I Imagined! I almost didn't want to cut it! But I knew how delicious it was so I couldn't wait to eat it! Signature Desserts is the bakery to go to, especially in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I am not a huge sweets and cake person so picking a cake that I liked was a hard task, but Signature Desserts did it in one taste. Their cake was so moist and had great flavor! We decided to go with Raspberry Cream Cheese filling and we heard nothing but good things about it. The decoration of the cake was beautiful. When we went for our consultation, Linda was very helpful in finding a specific cake topper and "bedazzler" to put on the cake. She ordered them off of Amazon and just added them to my total bill which really helped me out so I didn't have so much to worry about. I would definitely recommend Signature Desserts to any soon-to-be bride and groom!

I've had signature desserts before, but never their wedding cake. It was so delicious! We also got cupcakes that matched our 2, yes 2, fillings for our cake. I also love the fact that on our one year anniversary we get a fresh cake, no freezing of our cake topper.

Signature Desserts did our cake and cupcakes for our wedding this past weekend. They turned out excellent and our guests really enjoyed them. My issue is that we rented a cupcake stand that we were told would fit the cake on the top. We were told to order a two tiered cake, 10” bottom and 7” top. When we arrived at the venue on our wedding day the stand did not have the cake on top, instead it was in a completely different area and would not fit on the cake stand. We would not have rented the stand from them if they had told us that wouldn’t work. I asked multiple times throughout the two visits if the cake would be on the top of the stand and was told it would. I would have just bought my own stand if they would have been honest with me.

Love this bakery! I got the strawberry and cream cheese filling for my wedding cake and it was delicious! My guests raved about it. Was not dried out at all, and it was so beautifully decorated! They did exactly how I showed them. My family uses Signatures for other holiday and birthday parties, too.

BEST CAKE EVER. Tasted so fresh and delicious. The decoration was spot on with my vision as well. I sat and ate every single bite.

Nice, easy to work with and great quality. Our wedding cake was a little unique carrot cake with a layer of pumpkin spice cream. Absolutely delicious. Just wish I had more time to sit down and eat a full piece on my wedding day. Cannot wait till our first year anniversary because they will make you a small one free of charge rather than freezing the top layer.

We chose Signature Desserts for our wedding day after a wonderful experience with them at my sister's wedding. Our cake was beautiful, but more importantly- it tasted amazing! Linda helped make the process so easy and allowed us to customize our package to get exactly what we wanted. We had a 3 tier cake with various mini-desserts, all were a huge hit! They were so delicious that we had little left over, but everyone wanted to take those few extras home. We are still hearing compliments about the desserts months later! I would highly recommend Signature Desserts for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays- really any day you want something tasty! I could not be more happy with their work!

DELICIOUS! We had a beautiful dessert bar and our cake was so beautiful! They even brought us pies for our rehearsal! Very easy to work with and everything was delicious! I received so many compliments on our cakes, pies, torts, cookies and everything else! I highly recommend them! All of their stuff is so fresh, never frozen which is very apparent. We used Signature Desserts for our wedding cake and it came out stunning and delicious! The staff is so personable and we almost felt like we were part of the family when we were there for our tasting and design meetings. You get to pick from so many flavors of cakes and fillings and Linda helps you match things that she knows go well together. The tasting is paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. On top of cake they offer so many other desserts that if you want to go with a smaller cake or no cake at all they have tons of options for every couple, from a cupcake cake to personal sized pies! For the design of the outside of the cake, the options were endless. In a meeting with Linda we started with a blank piece of paper and she drew out in pen exactly what we wanted by listening to our thoughts and reviewing a few picture examples. She offered suggestions along the way to enhance it and we are so happy with how it turned out. When we got to the reception the cake was all set up and looked gorgeous! On top of the great experience of planning the wedding cake, as part of our price we get to go back on our first anniversary and get a fresh cake remade in our wedding flavors to enjoy! We can’t wait to enjoy a fresh cake to celebrate our first year of marriage.

Linda was amazing!! Our tasting went fantastic, and our cake was gorgeous and delicious!! I took her a picture of what I was looking for and she recreated it flawlessly!! It was a work of art and delicious! We also had assorted other desserts from signature at our wedding and they were all amazing. My guests were all super pleased with the selection we had and not one had a bad thing to say about anything we had. They were even able to create some gluten-free desserts to accommodate some family members with celiac so they could partake in dessert as well. Top notch bakery!!

Signature Desserts helped us to create a customized dessert bar display for our wedding and reception this spring. Because we wanted a variety of desserts for our big day, the wedding cake was a smaller feature for us to cut and share with some of our guests. They took just as much detail and attention on our smaller cake, as they would have on a larger multiple tier wedding cake. Along with the cake, we had small fruit tarts, cupcakes and mini cheesecakes - the perfect amount of variety for the day. One of my favorite part of the wedding day package with Signature Desserts is our coupon for a first-anniversary cake next year! Now we can go back and taste our wedding cake all over again next April. (I feel like we'll stop by for other desserts between now and then as well!) Happy planning!

Signature Desserts was great to work with. Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted delicious. One of our wedding colors was Mint and we had asked if they could do mint chocolate chip filling. It wasn't something they normally did but they said they'ed try to create the flavor and they pulled it off! Our package included a bunch of side cakes and pies that were so popular my husband and I didn't get to try them because they went so fast and were a huge hit. For a three tier cake and all the desserts the price was extremely reasonable. Plus they give you a fresh top tier for your first anniversary. Yay for free cake!

The team at Signature Desserts was amazing. My family went and did the initial tasting in my absence and when my cousin and I stopped in to make the deposit, we said we hadn't tasted anything and they provided a full tasting for us! We had an excellent experience with them and the cake itself, the other cakes and pies were so good. All of the guests raved about how amazing everything was! We absolutely cannot wait to go back and pick up our anniversary cake! Thank you guys!

Signature Desserts was an easy vendor choice for us, as it was included in our package through our reception venue. I had high hopes based on the views I’d read, but we were certainly in for a treat. From our first meeting at Signature Desserts, we knew we were in good hands. The owners of Signature Desserts (whose names are of course escaping me at the moment) are ALWAYS THERE. From our initial meeting, to our final decisions meeting, we were so delighted to speak first hand with the people who so passionately enjoy their work. We were able to sample a number of delicious treats, before sampling wedding cake flavors (and there were so many!). We ultimately chose a package that included not only a wedding cake, but a full dessert bar spread. WOW! We were so very pleased with the service, as well as the quality of the product. Our wedding cake was stunning. I extend a sincere thank you to Signature Desserts, for ensuring all of our wedding cake dreams were met. I highly recommend this vendor for your wedding cake, and wedding dessert, needs.

The cakes were amazing, but the process? The woman we dealt with kept pushing her ideas on us and wouldn't listen to what we wanted. Tried convincing us to do a traditional cake instead of the carrot cake we wanted. We got what we wanted after several visits, phone calls and texts.

I even brought in some decorations at the last minute and Linda assured me she would make them work. And they did! Everything was beautiful. I had nothing but pleasant interactions with Linda and her husband throughout the whole process. I placed my trust in both of them when it came down to it and they exceeded my expectations. My husband and I were beyond happy the we used Signature Deserts for our wedding. The variety of deserts was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I am still getting compliments on our desert spread. We opted to do the three tier wedding cake and a dessert buffet. We had more than enough cake to feed everyone, but also had cheeses cakes, pies, and cookies. Everyone, even our pickiest of eaters, had an option to enjoy. Linda and her husband work perfectly together as a team. All the meetings that I had with Linda were never rushed, questions were answered properly, and her expertise came into play. One of my most favorite parts about choosing signature deserts was the day we got to go in and design our wedding cake. At first, I thought I would just go in and show Linda a picture of the cake I wanted and be done........I thought wrong!! We had too much fun going through hundreds of wedding cake pictures picking and choosing what we liked and what we didn't to design our own perfect custom cake. It was SO fun!! Overall, I would recommend signature deserts for any occasion, but especially for wedding desserts.

They were absolutely wonderful!!!!! Our cake was gorgeous and turned out just how we built it during our cake design meeting! We had a mango and almond filling and it was delicious! Signature Desserts was extraordinary! The package we picked included a three tiered cake, five pies, and dozens of cookies. Everyone loved our dessert table and were so happy we provided to-go containers so that they could take some home. Our cake turned out EXACTLY how we envisioned. We couldn't be happier with this bakery! Plus you get a new cake for your first year anniversary, so you do not have to save the top tier (bonus!).

We shopped around for our wedding cake and settled on signature desserts, and we ordered the wedding cake with a dessert buffet. The price was right, even with the delivery fee to our venue which was a significant distance away, and their cakes tasted delicious. The cake tasting experience was also the best that we had, as we sampled cookies and several different kinds of fillings. However, I didn't always enjoy the interaction that I had with the owners at our meetings, and I felt like they would become frustrated with me in sharing my ideas and asking all of my questions. And, on our wedding day, the cake was not designed to be exactly as we discussed it would be.

Wedding Date: 9/5/15 I highly recommend Signature Desserts for any event, but especially for a wedding. The cake was delicious and beautiful. Linda worked with my fiance and I to design a perfect mix of our styles together (because it didn't seem like we could agree on anything when it came to the cake!) We had a very specific flavor that we wanted, and Signature Desserts worked with us and went out of their way to provide the cake of our dreams. We also had chocolate dipped strawberries (designed to look like tuxedos and bridal gowns!) on the head table for the party. And they provided a full dessert bar with cakes, pies, cookies, cheesecakes, the works. Everything was delicious and I got so many comments on the cake. You will not be disappointed with Signature Desserts!

I highly recommend Signature Desserts for wedding cakes and desserts. They worked with us to pick the perfect filling and the perfect design. I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted and she spent the time to organize my ideas and design the perfect cake. Not only was the 4 tier cake beautiful, it was delicious!!! They also provided a dessert bar for our wedding, which was a hit and were all so delicious too!

The owners are very friendly and precise. We were impressed when we had our meeting with them. They decorated our cake perfectly and it tasted amazing! We had a chocolate cake with fudge and caramel filling and we received many compliments on it!! Can't wait to have our free one year anniversary cake!! Highly recommend!!

We entered into a contract with Signature Desserts for a two-tier decorated wedding cake, two half sheet cakes, and eight dozen cookies for pick-up one day before our wedding. When we went to pick-up our cake we were handed a very poorly decorated cake. The cake was supposed to have a piped or printed rice paper monogram on the top layer. Instead, it had the letters in crooked, rolled fondant that looked like play dough. The decorator first attempted to fix it with a printed rice paper monogram, which she carelessly cut out and put it on the cake, leaving very visible ragged edges. She next attempted to fix it with a "delicate" border to hide the edges. Instead, she framed the monogram in a crooked, uneven, thick birthday-cake like border. At this point, I was crying and behind schedule driving two hours to my wedding destination to decorate before my rehearsal, so I had no choice but to take the cake as-is and left. In addition, our sheet cakes were scored to 50, which we caught and had to have fixed before we left. We failed to check our cookies, which upon delivery to the reception, realized were not as ordered. We ordered 8 dozen sugar cookies with white icing and pink sprinkles. Instead, we received cookies with pink and white sprinkles, much less fancy/professional looking than ordered. Dissatisfied with my experience, I called the bakery on my drive to the wedding destination seeking to speak with the owner Linda. I was told she was not in yet but would be shortly and would return my call upon arrival. Linda did not call. I had to call her over an hour later, at which time she told me she heard I was unhappy and would not deal with me as an emotional bride now and would work with me after the wedding. To date, we have not resolved the issue, as Signature Desserts only offered a small refund.

My fiancé and I enjoyed working with Linda, owner of Signature Desserts. It was a simple process and she listened to what we wanted and definitely created the wedding cake of our dreams! All of her desserts are absolutely delicious and we had rave reviews from our guests that the our wedding cake (red velvet) and dessert bar filled with pies, cakes, and tortes were to die for! My only complaint was that I requested a gold cake stand and it was not delivered. Also, I ordered 8 dozen cookies to be included with our cookie table and they were delivered in boxes rather than trayed, and didn't arrive to the hotel until later in the day when no one was available to tray the cookies - this should have been communicated to us or already have been trayed.

Signature Desserts was such a good decision for our bakery for our wedding. Linda spent so much time explaining our dessert options and helped us to design a very unique tasting, and looking, cake! Their prices are outstanding. For the cost of just a cake at a boutique bakery in Aspinwall, Signature Desserts gave us our cake, plus a huge dessert buffet for all our guests. (And SD's cake tasted WAY better!). We got several tortes, pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, and much more. At the tasting, they presented us with a whole cake premade with all the flavors we wanted to taste (as opposed to tiny squares of a cupcake to dip in flavored fillings like at other places...how can you tell from that?). The cake was absolutely delicious, and this is coming from a person who doesn't care too much about cake. I have never tasted a cake so light and fresh.The design was so pretty. We gave them a picture, and while it didn't look identical, I actually liked it more because it was something I'd never seen before. Steve is a very talented cake artist.The dessert buffet was a huge hit. So huge, there was NOTHING left! Unfortunately my husband and I never got to taste any of them, but we were told all the pies and cakes were phenomenal. We are looking forward to our free 1-year anniversary cake, and I plan to order cakes in the same flavor combo from Signature Desserts when we eventually have kids and celebrate important milestones in our family. I would not hesitate to recommend Signature Desserts to anyone who is stuck on where to get their wedding cake. They really have their act together there!
