I am so thankful that they also provide a complimentary anniversary cake voucher so we didn’t have to freeze the top for a year! Through no fault of Signature Desserts, our guests were unable to enjoy their amazing selection of pastries. Linda had helped us hand select each item, pies, tarts, cheesecakes, all kinds of wonderful items, and had built it all out perfectly for our wedding and expected guest count. We were thankfully still able to have some with our family and even if you aren’t planning a wedding, you have to try every dessert offered by the bakery, they were all perfectly delicious. She was also so kind as to offer ways to correct this mistake even though it was once again, no fault of the bakery! I am so thankful for all the help that we received from them throughout the year of planning. They are a truly a wonderful family and we will be returning to Signature Desserts for years to come.

They brought our cookie table to life with a dessert buffet and absolutely nailed the “naked icing” cake we had wanted! I will never go to any grocery store or other bakery ever again. I go to signature desserts for all occasions now. I am NEVER disappointed in their quality or customer service. They are a must-have for any Pittsburgh wedding!

ignature Desserts did it in one taste. Their cake was so moist and had great flavor! We decided to go with Raspberry Cream Cheese filling and we heard nothing but good things about it. The decoration of the cake was beautiful. When we went for our consultation, Linda was very helpful in finding a specific cake topper and "bedazzler" to put on the cake. She ordered them off of Amazon and just added them to my total bill which really helped me out so I didn't have so much to worry about. I would definitely recommend Signature Desserts to any soon-to-be bride and groom!

tand that we were told would fit the cake on the top. We were told to order a two tiered cake, 10” bottom and 7” top. When we arrived at the venue on our wedding day the stand did not have the cake on top, instead it was in a completely different area and would not fit on the cake stand. We would not have rented the stand from them if they had told us that wouldn’t work. I asked multiple times throughout the two visits if the cake would be on the top of the stand and was told it would. I would have just bought my own stand if they would have been honest with me.

here for our tasting and design meetings. You get to pick from so many flavors of cakes and fillings and Linda helps you match things that she knows go well together. The tasting is paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. On top of cake they offer so many other desserts that if you want to go with a smaller cake or no cake at all they have tons of options for every couple, from a cupcake cake to personal sized pies! For the design of the outside of the cake, the options were endless. In a meeting with Linda we started with a blank piece of paper and she drew out in pen exactly what we wanted by listening to our thoughts and reviewing a few picture examples. She offered suggestions along the way to enhance it and we are so happy with how it turned out. When we got to the reception the cake was all set up and looked gorgeous! On top of the great experience of planning the wedding cake, as part of our price we get to go back on our first anniversary and get a fresh cake remade in our wedding flavors to enjoy! We can’t wait to enjoy a fresh cake to celebrate our first year of marriage.

They took just as much detail and attention on our smaller cake, as they would have on a larger multiple tier wedding cake. Along with the cake, we had small fruit tarts, cupcakes and mini cheesecakes - the perfect amount of variety for the day. One of my favorite part of the wedding day package with Signature Desserts is our coupon for a first-anniversary cake next year! Now we can go back and taste our wedding cake all over again next April. (I feel like we'll stop by for other desserts between now and then as well!) Happy planning!

Our package included a bunch of side cakes and pies that were so popular my husband and I didn't get to try them because they went so fast and were a huge hit. For a three tier cake and all the desserts the price was extremely reasonable. Plus they give you a fresh top tier for your first anniversary. Yay for free cake!

We were able to sample a number of delicious treats, before sampling wedding cake flavors (and there were so many!). We ultimately chose a package that included not only a wedding cake, but a full dessert bar spread. WOW! We were so very pleased with the service, as well as the quality of the product. Everyone, even our pickiest of eaters, had an option to enjoy. Linda and her husband work perfectly together as a team. All the meetings that I had with Linda were never rushed, questions were answered properly, and her expertise came into play. One of my most favorite parts about choosing signature deserts was the day we got to go in and design our wedding cake. At first, I thought I would just go in and show Linda a picture of the cake I wanted and be done........I thought wrong!! We had too much fun going through hundreds of wedding cake pictures picking and choosing what we liked and what we didn't to design our own perfect custom cake. It was SO fun!! Overall, I would recommend signature deserts for any occasion, but especially for wedding desserts.
