My husband and I are very shy and awkward when it comes to photo shoots and taking photos in general but Joe made us feel so comfortable from the start of just messaging back and forth! hotoshoot, I cannot rave enough about Joe and the experience he gives his clients! I reached out to Joe and his prompt response and enthusiasm made me so excited to work with him. Joe has been nothing short of incredible from the moment we had our initial conversation, through the engagement photoshoot, planning sessions, to the wedding day, and beyond! He was such a big help with outfits, locations and our want and need lists for our engagement session and that was just the beginning. Our conversations were always so easy going and collaborative. He was so dedicated to making the perfect timeline with us and what photos we wanted when. He was also extremely flexible on trying new ways to do things. For example, I made photo lists on Pinterest and he was such a trooper and so flexible trying to navigate how to get access to see my boards. Another example is when we were taking photos on our wedding day, I wanted to try a pose we hadn't talked about and he went right along with it and made it so fun! He truly just wanted to make our shoot and wedding day amazing and get the most out of the experience. He is adventurous and always down to try new things and is prepared with the tools and resources is it takes to get a great photo! During our engagement photo shoot, he saw a perfect place to get a picture and was cutting limbs off of trees and climbing down into the water to get the best angle! Joe made us feel so comfortable and relaxed while giving great instructions and directions! When I look at our photos, I really see the goofy, loving, authentic us and not positioned robots just to get a good photo. Joe makes experience feel enjoyable, fun, and like we can be ourselves rather than standing in front a photographer. That is what made us fall in love with Joe! He is professional but so fun and relaxed that it made us feel like we could be ourselves. His overall presence is so comforting, and he makes it so easy to ask questions and collaborate with him on anything! The photographer you pick can really make or break your day, especially when you spend ALL DAY with them and they are everywhere you are. Joe really made the difference from a good day to an amazing and memorable day. You can really tell he loves connecting and having fun with his clients! When we saw our photos from our engagement shoot and also our wedding day, they were STUNNING! He is so creative and I love the attention to detail he puts into his work. His photos are so true to who we are and it makes me giddy to look at them. There really are no words to describe how thankful I am for booking Silecchia Photography for our wedding. Each photographer has a unique style and I wanted to make sure that our wedding day was captured and edited in a way that I loved for years and years to come. After looking through a couple of photos, I knew I could trust Joe to capture our biggest day. Our engagement photos, perfect (even when we took them in 15 degree January weather). The planning leading up to the wedding, perfect. Joe checked in multiple times and called us to see how things were going. He GENUINELY cared about how we both were feeling and what he could do to help. The wedding day, perfect. Joe was the "quarterback" (as my husband would say) for the day. He took charge and helped anyone and everyone. His attention to detail is unlike any other vendor we had. He took the time to make sure that my husband and I got water, food, bathroom breaks, etc. He wasn't there JUST taking photos, he was doing it all. We didn't have a wedding coordinator, but Joe was directing people as needed. So many of our guests and family members asked "Who was the photographer? He was so polite and kind. I can't wait to see the photos!" Yesterday, we got to share so many of our wedding photos with family and they were brought to tears. Joe captured so many unforgettable moments. It's hard to even pick which photos to frame in our home. However, through emails, in person meetings, and our actual wedding day, I knew we made the best decision we could have hiring SIlecchia Photography. Joe is one of the most genuine people we have met and it seemed like so much more than a job to him. When we met him in person, we had talked for almost 2 hours without even talking about wedding details because he just wanted to genuinely get to know us and our lives. On the day of, that made it feel like he was a friend joining in the bridal party rather than a vendor we hired. When my sister was doing my makeup we moved to the bathroom because the hotel room had gotten crowed and Joe hopped into the tub to make sure he still got the best photos (the dedication is real)! He was an absolute rockstar with our bridal party who definitely showed their weird sometimes inappropriate selves and he loved it and ran with it. Our priest ended up being 30 minutes late and he did not hesitate to adapt and take photos with the boys to use the time. I got to the altar and my now husband whispered to me that he could not wait for me to see the photos they took before the wedding lol. As someone who is typically behind the camera rather than in front of, Joe made it so easy for us to feel comfortable and special in front of the camera. I cannot stress how seamless he made our day feel from learning all the names in the bridal party, to adapting when things go wrong, to connecting with family and friends the whole day was magical and he fit right in. I have received so many compliments from guests at the wedding who talked with him about how much they enjoyed having him a part of the day. We could not be happier with our choice for our wedding photos, its so much more than the photos you walk away with but the memories he will help build throughout the day! 1000/10

well! However, I had NO idea that I was hiring one of the most genuine and helpful people to ever hire as a vendor. Joe was not only great at his job for my engagement photos and wedding day, but he was a great friend to me and my bridal party as well. The day of my wedding, we had an unexpected thunderstorm. I did not have a back-up plan for photos, since I planned to have them taken at a park. Little did I know, Joe had a back-up plan already in place, and it worked out perfectly, and when a bride is already being thrown curve-balls all day, it was great to not have to worry about this! I recommend Silecchia photography to everyone, for any type of photos you are wanting. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

When we were first searching for a photographer we wanted two key things which was someone who was 1: What we felt was good at taking the types of photos we wanted which are action shots, candid and fun! 2: we were searching for a photographer that we felt was personable, someone who we didn’t feel awkward having take our photos and that we could be our true selves around. Joe from Silecchia fit this more than I could have ever dreamed. During our first email interactions we discussed pricing/packages (of course) but what stood out to me was that Joe also asked me about ME, about who I am, what I enjoy and what me and my husband enjoy together. After that I think we must have sent half a dozen emails back and forth just talking about our lives and getting to know eachother. There was a moment that I had forgotten that Joe was someone I was hiring and not an old friend. Joe also made sure we were organized for the big day! With this being the first wedding we were a part of he gave me the great advice of making a list of photos that I wanted done/with who and recommend I have someone in my wedding party in charge of calling people up when it was their turn (thank god for this because I would not of gotten even 1/2 the photos I wanted). He also asked for inspo pics and showed me some that he thought fit what I was looking for (he was right of course). On top of this he made sure to ask what types of photos I wanted during the reception (pictures of the tables/all the guests at the tables, people eating, photo of the cake, photos of other small details) which I never really thought about but really appreciate because now I have a file full of photos that I wanted/love and not things I would scroll by on. The day of my wedding Joe made me feel so at ease. While I was panicking on time/people not being ready when I needed them to be, Joe was always there for my never ending time checks and reassuring me that we had more then enough time and that everything was going to be OK. Not to mention, Joe has such an amazing sense of humor and personality that I was bent over laughing constantly from his comments and jokes while taking the photos which also relieved so much of my stress and anxiety and made me forget why I was even worrying in the first place! Throughout the wedding and afterward I had so many of my guests tell me how amazing, kind and funny my photographer was and asked if he was already a friend of mine prior to the event! If you want a photographer who will take AMAZING photos, create beautiful edits AND will treat you as if you’re their own family then stop looking and hire Silecchia photography. Cue Joe - first impression is he’s professional, bubbly, PASSIONATE about his career, knowledgeable, and all my fears and nerves were relieved after just a text conversation. I knew we needed to book with him the second he texted us. Joe’s photos were the first photos my husband actually admired. Going through other photographers he would just shrug and be indifferent - but Joe’s work brought a smile to his face and that’s when I knew we REALLLLY needed to book him. Our engagement session felt like our best friend was photographing us.. and we had never met prior. Joe’s not afraid to get down in the dirt (literally) for the perfect shot. My jaw dropped several times to his commitment for the perfect shot 🤣 He eases any anxieties you may have and let’s you know how to pose yourselves - and he has thousands of ideas in that head of his!! When we received our huge gallery of wedding photos, my husband and I were just in happiness shock. y. That being said I want to start off by saying that Joe is a very professional, caring, understanding, and down to earth person. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure to work with Jess but I have heard equally pleasant things about her. Every step of the way in the year and a half long process of planning was nothing but exceptional. Joe responded to my texts and emails in a timely manner and handled every question, photography related or not, with pure grace and passion. I never felt like he wasn’t listening or didn’t care to listen to what I had to say. We had originally wanted to have the engagement session and wedding day captured with Silecchia Photography but due to COVID restrictions and some family chaos we were unable to do the engagement session. Joe was so polite and professional when he was asked to change the contract from both, the engagement and wedding, to just the wedding. I would have understood if he was upset because of the loss of the extra income or at least bothered by having to change things up after the contract had already been completed but again I never felt like he was upset or dissatisfied with our decision to change things after the contract had already been signed. Joe even handled the cancellation of our wedding after COVID continued to bother our wedding plans with poise. He was extremely understanding when the ceremony location had to change from one location to not one other but two other different places in a two week time period. His flexibility definitely got my vote. Another part of what makes this company and Joe so great was his down to earth personality, he was extremely easy to talk to and our family, friends, and ourselves loved working with him all day. He fit right into our crazy, chaotic, yet fun group of people and had us all laughing several times that day and into the night. My husband, who hates having his photo taken for any reason, still to this day talks about how he felt at ease and that he could be himself around Joe. Our bridal party and family called us days later to say how much fun they had just standing in front of the camera because Joe felt like someone they had known for years! His personality is versatile and I would highly recommend Silecchia Photography to anyone who has people in their lives who are stubborn or shy about being photographed. Joe and his assistant were great about taking candid photos of those who usually aren’t comfortable in front of the camera, capturing many of the small moments that will be cherished for a long time. He was a pleasure to work with and I wish I was getting married again just to get the chance to work with Joe and Silecchia Photography again.

This made gathering the troops so much easier because he wasn't constantly having to say "hey you," it was directly to the individual. Second, he was constantly doing something. I have had photos done where the photographer waited for myself or me and my husband to say we want photos of this this or this before they would begin. He was always taking photos or if not was coming to us asking what we planned on doing next. To add the photos were not always just of my husband and I either and that really stood out to me. He captured guest and just the bridal party, basically doing their things, to create a more natural going picture. Third, he not only was easy to work with but made Ryan and I feel comfortable when he was taking our photos. He did not put us in any awkward poses or make us take photos for hours. He was quick, to the point and they have came out looking perfect so far. Then finally, Joe stayed almost the whole night until the place was starting to chill out. Just from experience at weddings, I usually see the photographers leave right after all of the "special" dances and things are over. Overall, Joe and Jess were awesome. I not only talked them up but my bridal party and other guests literally did all night! Joe was very professional but knew how to make you feel relaxed and as I mentioned before, just natural. Joe went above and beyond what Ryan and I expected out of our photographer.
