SILIANG PHOTOGRAPHY

My husband and I hired Siliang to photograph our wedding ceremony and reception in San Francisco on June 2, 2023, and we are so happy we did! From the very beginning, Siliang was super easy to communicate with. We had an intro call and then he toured the venue with us. We ended up postponing our wedding by a year, and also changed the reception venue and Siliang was very accommodating and empathetic throughout. On the day of, he worked with a co-photographer. In just over 3 weeks after the wedding, he shared more than a thousand photos with so many amazing ones! He captured the day perfectly and struck a great balance of posed, candid, fun, emotional and several delightfully unexpected photographs! He is not your run of the mill wedding photographer who is heavy on post-edits or added effects. We worked with Siliang for our engagement photos and we loved them so much that we worked with him further for our civil wedding and ceremony wedding! All our photos from all three sessions were beautiful. We specifically asked for candid, no posed shots because my husband hates posed photos, and he did just that in the most beautiful ways possible! Very easy to work with. Very easy to get in touch. We hired Siliang to photograph our wedding and loved how kind, diligent, and flexible he was in the planning process and on the day of. His calm and unimposing approach to photographing us made us feel so comfortable and allowed us to be super natural and present at every moment. Siliang was incredible - he somehow managed to both be everywhere at once but never in the way or even noticeable. He keyed into all the best moments, and delivered a really exceptional product that told the story of the day. He doesn't focus just on the frameable shots (though he certainly got those in abundance), he focuses on documenting the true experience. We hired Siliang for our wedding a little over a month ago and could not be happier. Silian was and is phenomenal, not only did his flight get pushed back due to a storm but he managed to hop on a flight that landed thebday of and he came straight to the wedding preparations for pictures. He has an incredible eye for angles, catching the right moments and effects that bring that high quality dream wedding pictures to your front screen. He is self managed at an event, the type of person you don't even have to go ask him to take photos of a certain group or capturing a time in a picture because he already beat you to it. He also had the pictures ready way ahead of the projected time. I highly recommend him for any kind of event specifically and specially if it is your wedding. Siliang takes the most artistic and creative photos! We didn’t want the same old posed and awkward photos, we wanted a more natural and artistic approach. We had high expectations and Siliang still impressed us! We have so many fun and unique engagement and wedding photos that we honestly don’t know where to begin in picking the best ones. Such a good problem to have! In planning a wedding through COVID, Siliang was also our easiest vendor to work with, he was so flexible with the changes and that was really helpful for us!

We were super close to booking another photographer, but kept putting it off because something just didn't feel quite right. Siliang was the best wedding photographer I could ask for! He has such an amazing eye for photography. My pictures turned out beautiful. I have a very headstrong family who has an opinion about everything. Siliang was able to get the pictures everyone wanted but moved it along to make sure we were on schedule and did it without offending anyone. He was absolutely perfect. Siliang is an excellent wedding photographer! We went for a SF city hall ceremony two weeks ago, and I have received all pictures this week. My whole family and I LOVE these photos so much.
