e perfect! The view is obviously breathtaking and you feel like you're on top of the world. The club can speak for itself but what really impressed my now husband and I was the wedding and events coordinator. From the get go, she was so attentive and professional. She really went above and beyond. She is also very well known in the industry so we loved asking her for recommendations and her opinions. The day of staff was also amazing. We had a waitor help us with a bow tie issue, then we had servers helping to make sure we had milk for our toddler twins, and the just in general, everyone who was working that night was awesome! They made us feel extremely special. Hands down, without a doubt, I would recommend using the capital club! It's a no brainer.

days so we were able to use the Vertex bar area of the club as the main event space with some extra tables (and a photobooth!) set up in the adjacent ballroom. This could not have worked out better for us - we loved having the indoor bar space and the outdoor patio spaces both available for our guests. All of our guests loved the food that we selected and the venue itself made it a very fun space to have our reception. Our coordinator was very easy to work with and she helped us update the plan a few times when we would change our mind about something (or add in more food choices). She was unable to be there the day of our event but someone else took her place for wedding day coordination and even though we had never spoken with him about any of the details, everything was ready and set up exactly as we had been planning on. We couldn't have chosen a better location to have our wedding reception and we recommend the Capital Club to anyone else who is looking for San Jose venues!

s of the South Bay and downtown San Jose, the decor is modern and chic, the staff are very attentive and polite. Our coordinator Nicole was fantastic, she made sure everything we needed was taken care of up until she had to take leave and made the planning experience very easy and stress free. Unfortunately she was not there the day of and we had a replacement coordinator who took over while she was out on leave which I must be honest, she dropped the ball on a few things but you can only expect that when she hasn't been working with you the entire time. Our ceremony was beautiful, it took place on the 17th floor terrace, the staff set up the ceremony wonderfully and even had a very nice water bar for our guests. The reception was set up perfectly and even with a couple hiccups we had a blast and our guests absolutely loved the venue. I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious, the staff is great and the place is gorg. The groom and I were very well taken care of and worth every penny.

ue was the food. We wanted our guests to truly savor their dinner and that was exactly what we got. It was equivalent to a high end restaurant and they don't skimp on the portion sizes. We did upgrade our wine package, but that's only because we are picky about our wines. All their wine selections are great choices. Additionally, our wedding was on a Sunday, so we were lucky in that we were able to use the beautiful bar area during our wedding. So if you are able to have a wedding on Sunday, we definitely recommend reserving the bar area as part of your wedding package. Lastly, the club includes a wedding cake from either Bijan or Satura as part of their food package, which means there's one less vendor you have to coordinate. We chose Bijan because we love the bakery. Another nice aspect to the club is that there are multiple rooms for you to use during the wedding. This allows for people to mingle in different areas, especially if they want to get away from the music. Your guests can also escape to the terrace that wraps around the building, so be wary of having your wedding here if you're afraid of heights. There are floor to ceiling windows that allow you to scope out all of the San Jose area with great views of the hills, and you might even get lucky enough to see San Francisco if the weather is clear enough. And don't worry about the nearby airport as we didn't even notice any of the landing airplanes during the entire wedding. We also can't say enough about Jenna and Amy from the club. They made sure everything went off without a hitch. They were also very helpful and willing to work with us to keep us within our budget. Lastly, the club is a little pricier than other wedding venues, but you definitely get your money's worth and the venue has a lot of character and great decor, especially if you want a wedding that feels more formal.
