priority was having full videos of our ceremony, speeches, and dances. Our package also included a short highlight film, which has been so much fun to watch and share. The videographers assigned to our wedding were incredibly kind and friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the day. The main area where we would have appreciated a little more communication was beforehand. Silk and Fern uses different videographers for each wedding, and we didn’t get to meet or communicate directly with ours before the day. Even a quick introduction with their names and what to expect would have helped ease some planning stress and let our coordinator know who to look out for. Our contact at Silk and Fern was very helpful, and the process overall felt very organized, but also quite strict. We communicated through one person and needed to lay out our schedule, exact timing, and expectations in detail beforehand, since that information was all the videographers had to go off of on the wedding day. This felt less flexible than working with vendors we could speak with directly, and having a chance to touch base with our videographers beforehand would have made us feel more at ease. One other small disappointment was that the music in our highlight film was different from what we had selected. We’re still happy with how it turned out, but we would have appreciated a heads-up about the change before receiving the finished video. Overall, we had a positive experience and feel we received great value. We’re grateful to have these memories captured and will enjoy revisiting them for years to come!
