Silk Bridal was outstanding. When I walked in, the bridal stylist already had several dresses pulled for me to try on. She carefully selected multiple dresses based on what I said I was looking for. The first dress I tried on ending up being the one I bought. She was very helpful, the dress and veil were reasonably priced and the appointment process was extremely easy.

This was my second dress appointment and I ended up finding my dress here (second one I tried on)! They had a smaller selection of dresses, but they were very beautiful and well taken care of. The ladies couldn't have been more accommodating and supportive! They really made us feel welcome and comfortable as this was a new experience for me and my party! I recommend reserving a private appointment because weren't distracted by other bridal parties and we were also served champagne which made it so fun. After a disappointing first appointment, Silk Bridal totally exceeded our expectations! They are absolutely amazing.

Found the dress of my dreams here and for an unbelievable price! The ladies were so helpful and so accommodating for my friends and family who all wanted to partake. Dont skip out on this dress shop!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I made this appointment, but I was intrigued by their selection of off-the-rack dresses. Before I arrived, I was quizzed about what I was looking for in a dress, so when the appointment came, they had already selected a few I might be interested in. I was much more at ease than I was at other shops since my group was the only one in the store, too. Their dress selection is small, but VERY well curated, and I was lucky enough to find exactly what I was looking for at a fair price! The staff are so friendly and genuine, so I was even more happy to be shop small at this local woman-owned studio. If I could shop there for every special occasion, I would do it every time.

As a first time bride and someone that never really put a lot of thought into my wedding, it was really great to work with Amy and Evie. I love the though of second-hand wedding dresses but what makes their company amazing is that they also offer special order wedding dresses as well. They took great care of me during my appointment, they were patient with me figuring out the style that I liked. They offered beautiful choices and assisted each dress with accessories. I left with a couple of dresses on my list that I will need to consider. Overall wonderful experience and highly recommend to future brides.

My partner and I had a blast finding her wedding dress at Silk Bridal Studio. They had a fantastic selection of dresses, and the attendant helping us made the whole morning so fun and cheerful and lovely. They had already pulled some dresses before we arrived based on the information we provided in their form and a phone call, and they continued to adjust and pull more dresses based on what she felt good in. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision, and they gave me and my partner's mom clothespins so we could look through the racks and mark dresses we thought she might like. It was a super fun, stress-free day, which was very different from the sale-focused/high pressure experience we had at another bridal shop. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for cozy, fun vibes!

Amy at Silk was the absolute best! We talked a little bit about what I wanted before my appointment and when I arrived my name was on the welcome board and Amy had already pulled dresses for me to try! The whole experience was personal and wonderful, never pushy or judgmental, and the prices were phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend using Silk!

I went to multiple bridal studios and Silk Bridal was by far the best! Amy and Evie made me feel completely comfortable while trying on gowns. I was able to share with them in advance what dresses I was interested in by using their Pinterest page and they had the dresses ready for me at my appointment. They even had a cute welcome sign with my name on it! In addition to the dresses I picked out, they helped me pick out others I might be interested in. They have an amazing selection! They made my mom and I feel like family and there was no pressure at all to pick a dress that day. I later thought about it and selected a dress there not only because of how beautiful it was but also because I wanted to support their business as they were the most welcoming by far. They sent me a very sweet Christmas card afterwards! I highly recommend them for any bride looking for a dress or wedding accessories!

Based on what we talked about prior to my appointment Amy pulled a couple dresses for me and I ended up picking one she chose for me. I was worried since they are primarily off the rack dresses that they wouldn’t have much to choose from but they had a really nice selection. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend Silk Bridal. :)

I had the best experience! I had tried on dresses once before at another store and I was so worried I wouldn’t love any dresses. They had a great selection! They also did a great job securing dresses that weren’t my size to give me a good vision of what they would look like. There was zero pressure, and they were so nice! I can no say enough great things.

This mother/daughter bridal salon is AMAZING! They picked out some wonderful wedding gowns before I even got in and one of them ended being THE dress. It's a small boutique, with a personalized and family feel. You will have all the attention on you. The other upside is that the prices are great. My dress was a consignment dress but they also have non-consignment. For the experience, price and attention - you can't make a better choice than coming here :)

This shop was such a sweet and positive space to try on wedding dresses. The people there were kind and accommodating and were able to give me honest and informed feedback about the try-ons. They give you their focused attention for the time you're in your appointment, and since the studio is small, there were only one or two other people there, which was nice for privacy. It was just a cozy experience, and I'm all about those good vibes during such a high-pressure life moment. They had an excellent selection, and I found my dream dress there for a great price.

This place is fantastic. I purchased my wedding gown and my shoes from here and everyone was so nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great deal.

Evie was wonderful to work with! She has picked out several dresses before I arrived at the shop based on the description of my venue and the look I was going for. I ended up choosing one of those dresses, even after trying on many in the style I thought I wanted. She was very patient and mindful of my budget. And the studio itself is bright, beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend Silk Bridal!

This shop was amazing! Every dress was beautiful and it made it very hard to pick since all of the items were such great products. They definitely added the personal touch and made the entire experience so very special! I highly recommend this place, especially if you need your dress sooner rather than later! Cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was!

Amy absolutely exceeded my expectations for dress shopping. I anticipated it being stressful, however it was so much fun and she did a wonderful job of selecting a variety of gowns. Being plus sized I was concerned, however there was plenty of selection and I felt beautiful the entire time. Of course the best part is I said yes to an amazing dress for an amazing price!!

If you’re looking for a place to try on wedding dresses that makes you feel comfortable and not like they’re trying to force you into a purchase... this is the most beautiful business to go to. They had plenty of options, their prices were wonderful, and I even found my veil the same day..The stylists were extremely knowledgeable and I’m beyond excited to wear my dress! The workers were so sweet and helpful! they really took their time helping me decide what dress I want. Prior to making an appointment I messaged the boutique via instagram and they were so responsive even after hours!

After looking at all the wedding dress shops in town, I was ready to give up. However, my mom had another idea and we made an appointment at Silk Bridal Studio. I was not optimistic after all the "failed" appointments. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find the PERFECT dress for me. Not only did we find my perfect dress, but we found my earrings, my veil, and my flower girls dress all at a reasonable price that was within my parent's budget. A similar dress at another shop was over their budget. I was the only bride there when I had my appointment, which was pre COVID, and it made me feel comfortable. I am so grateful we found our dress here and I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren and she was amazing! She noticed my nerves as I walked in and immediately made me feel comfortable with her warm and reassuring words. She was encouraging the entire time and was on point with dress selection ! It was like she was inside my head seeing what I was imagining . Every dress was unique and beautiful . They had a wide variety of styles . I cannot say enough about how wonderful Lauren is , but honestly the entire staff was great! They were all helping find my dream dress. The studio was intimate and exactly what we were looking for . And YES, I found my dress! AND it was affordable . I am seriously blown away by this bridal studio and couldn’t have wished for a better experience .

I would recommend Silk Bridal to anyone! Lauren, Evie, and Amy were AMAZING. They listened to what I wanted and pulled the perfect dresses for me to try on. They were helpful but not pushy and made dress shopping so fun! I loved that they had a great variety of styles for reasonable prices and that I could take the dress home that day.

Amy and Hayley were fantastic to work with to find my perfect cathedral veil. I ended up buying my earrings and necklace too! If you are looking for a simple modern veil at a price at a fraction of the typical cost, this is the dream place to go! They have such a good selection of bridal wear that satisfied a picky bride. They helped me with any questions, were super attentive to my needs, and gave me suggestions that I never would have thought about myself. The girls there are super knowledgeable and genuinely want to help their clients, not just make a profit.

The staff was so wonderful and made the experience stress free! There were a wide variety of dresses to search though without it being overwhelming. Also, I loved that THE dress was one I was able to take with me the same day. Just knowing I had my dress in my hands took away the stress of having to order one and wait!

I had visited several other salons and my experience at Silk Bridal Studio was off the charts. I had come to my appointment with a dress style in mind and Silk Bridal pulled many looks to appease this. My stylist pulled a completely different look (strapless dress) and added a lace jacket when she realized something was off. It was absolutely perfect! No other salon worked as hard to help me choose a dress. The dress and jacket were well below my budget and Silk Bridal Studio ensured I stuck to my budget. Finding a wedding dress during COVID is stressful enough and Silk Bridal Studio was able to give me an experience to remember, even if I wasn't able to have as many friends and family attend the appointment.

Silk was professional, considerate, and personable. I was just shopping for a veil, but they gave me all the time I needed and really worked to find a veil that matched my style. They made my experience really special. Also, they had a great selection of veils compared to a lot of the other places I went. Highly recommend!

I love the consignment aspect of this boutique. A lot of items in my life are second hand and I really wanted to give that special dress a second chance. It is a little smaller of a space, but that doesn't mean this place doesn't have a lot of offer. Amy really was patient and let me know things were easy to alter as I tried on probably way too many dresses. The dress I did pick though was already bustled, because consignment, and just needs little alterations for the perfect fit. It was a beautiful and amazing experience and I can't wait to share with other brides-to-be!

I absolutely loved my experience at Silk Bridal Studio!!! I made an appointment; my consultant, Amy, called the day before and just checked in about my budget, what types of dresses I was interested in, and told me to let her know if I had any questions or concerns. We got there - my mom, soon to be mother in law, sister, and grandmother - and she was ready for us. She had even pulled a few dresses for us to start, then gave me the opportunity to go look for myself. One of my favorite things about Silk is that they maintain an active Pinterest page of currently available dress options, and Amy had been so thoughtful as to look at my pins from their Pinterest page and pulling some of those dresses. She indicated some of my choices were way outside my price range, but I really respected that she was so thoughtful as to keep that in mind with what she pulled for me. Throughout the appointment, she was extremely helpful, let my family and I talk about each option. At the end of the appointment, it came down to two dresses, and she insisted I try them back on and even pulled some additional things like veils or hair pieces that would look good with the dresses. That day, I didn't expect to find my dress, but I fell in love with a beautiful gown and veil and it was all less than I expected to pay. It was a great experience, my consultant was respectful of my budget and time, and my family and I had a fantastic experience. Would highly highly recommend to anyone looking to do bridal consignment or even brides who are looking to do a wedding on a budget.

They were so so sweet and helped me to really envision what I could look like on my wedding day. They even looked up and found a piece of jewelry we described and ordered it for us. It was fun to meet them, to say yes, and to celebrate with them! (They even sent me a lovely follow-up card!) This should be a go to place to look for a wedding dress in Hampton Roads!! :)

The one stop shop to finding your perfect dress and accessories for the big day. Amy is a warm and welcoming expert. She made it less stressful and easy to find that one dress. I could not have asked for a better stylist. I highly recommend this boutique to all brides to be from all over the nation. I came from out of state just to visit this shop and I was happy to do so. Six stars out of five it that was an option.

Came in to this boutique on a whim by myself and they were very sweet and flexible. I tried on (my now wedding dress) and wasn't sure if I wanted to say yes without my mom. I made an appt. for the next week not expecting that dress to be available. As if it was meant to be I went in with my future sister in law and my mom and I tried on many dresses. The dress I originally tried on was it. I was very pleased how cool they were and comforting. I picked out the dress I wanted, and I was so impressed how well Evie paired accessories with my dress. My veil, to headpiece to sash she nailed it! She was also very honest and told me there was a small hole in the veil before purchasing (didnt even notice it). I appreciate the honesty. They didnt rush us after buying the dress and let us hangout with champagne. I love this mother daughter duo, they are first class. You made one happy bride!

I loved every minute of my appointment at Silk Bridal. Amy was more helpful and knowledgeable than I’d hoped for in a bridal consultant, and she encouraged me to try on anything I was interested in... which ultimately lead me to finding the perfect dress! She knew when the right time to suggest a waist sash, veil, and bouquet was, and she didn’t clip a veil to my head if I didn’t want her to, which other places did. The atmosphere of the store was calming, and the dressing rooms were comfortable and well lit. Amy and her daughter (another consultant) were very social and professional. I absolutely hope you go to Silk Bridal during your wedding dress journey, because I think it’s likely you’ll find your perfect dress!

When I say Evie , is GOD SENT! I literally just knew I wasn’t going to find “the yes dress” tried like 15 dresses and was ready to give up. Even said if I don’t find it, oh well I’ll keep trying :(.... Evie was determined , and sure enough , the LAST dress I tried on was THE ONE! I knew before she even finished tying the back of my dress!!! I love the her and her mom! They both have great customer service !!! Can’t wait till my big day!!!!!

I went to Silk Bridal Studio in November for my June wedding, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very welcoming, and Lauren (my consultant) was very helpful and accommodating. Selection and price were great, I was able to try on many dresses and ended the appointment finding the one; finishing with the champagne toast and a “I said yes to the dress sign”.

They have designer dresses for great prices due to receiving sample dresses. There is a great selection for all shapes and the customer service is fantastic. My dress consultant, Evie, was so patient and considerate. She really helped me pick out the perfect dress without pushing anything on me. There's no pressure to buy but I'm sure you'll find the dress here!

One weekend while my mother was in town we stopped by just to see what I had to do to look at the dresses and Amy welcomed us in. I was able to not only look at the dresses but try them on. I even found “the one” and purchased it that day. I came back in just under a month and picked the dress up with my future mother and sister in law and was able to try the dress on to show them. Silk Bridal Studio was everything I dreamed of, from trying on dresses and more. I plan to go back and have my alterations done in her studio. Remember to ask for Amy!

I loved my experience with Silk! We called last minute when in town and we were told to come by in between appointments. Upon arrival I immediately felt so comfortable and warm and found my dress after about 8 or 9 try ons! My experience was so fun and Amy made me feel so beautiful once I found my perfect dress. I would highly recommend Silk to anyone not just because of my experience but the prices are truly a steal!

These ladies are amazing! The studio is chic and not formal and stuffy like most bridal salons. Selection was great even for someone like me in a size 2 which is hard to find for off the rack dresses. I found a beautiful one of a kind Anne Barge dress. The staff was not pushy to make a sale and made me and my bridal party comfortable. The right amount of advise when needed. I will be sending any new bride to be here. I had encountered many pushy salespeople in other stores that made me feel pressured and overwhelmed. However, when I came to Silk Bridal Studio, I had a completely different experience. It was intimate and genuine. They were so patient and kind, and wanted me to enjoy the process. They were honest and never pressured me. My wife came in and the girls were amazing. They gave us a very fair price and my fiancé came home very very happy to have found her dress. We have been looking for a dress for the past 3 months and this was the most stressful experience (that I’ve heard from the phone). The prices were great and the staff even better, I’m definitely recommending to my friends.

The staff at Silk Bridal studio is friendly, accomodating, and appropriately "oohed and ahhed" when I found my dress! They brought out champagne and took pictures with the "I said yes to my dress" sign. Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the dresses seem a little pricey for a consignment shop, and all sales are final.

I absolutely loved everything about my experience at Silk. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by who I assume is the owner/manager. Then the lady who assisted us (I wish I could remember her name, she was awesome!) let me start looking around. I was pretty dead-set on having a dress with long sleeves, but she helped me keep my ideas open. I ended up picking a dress that was way different than I had in mind, but it was perfect. She was so helpful in not only helping me pick dresses, but assisting me in them and picking out accessories that I had in mind to see what they would look like with the dress. Never once did I feel pressured at all, like I have at some other bridal studios. And hey, it doesn’t hurt that the prices were awesome as well. I would definitely recommend Silk to anyone who is looking to buy their dream dress!
