Amy was absolutely wonderful! We tried on several dresses of different styles since I was very unsure of what I wanted, and the Silk Bridal team was attentive and helpful the entire time. They listened as I commented on things I did/did not like about certain styles and found even more options for me to try. The dress I ultimately said YES to was one of the ones they picked out for me based on my feedback. Highly, highly recommend Silk Bridal Studio to any brides looking for their dress!

Based on what we talked about prior to my appointment Amy pulled a couple dresses for me and I ended up picking one she chose for me. I was worried since they are primarily off the rack dresses that they wouldn’t have much to choose from but they had a really nice selection. Overall, I had a really good experience and would definitely recommend Silk Bridal. :)

I had the best experience! I had tried on dresses once before at another store and I was so worried I wouldn’t love any dresses. They had a great selection! They also did a great job securing dresses that weren’t my size to give me a good vision of what they would look like. There was zero pressure, and they were so nice! I can no say enough great things.

This mother/daughter bridal salon is AMAZING! They picked out some wonderful wedding gowns before I even got in and one of them ended being THE dress. It's a small boutique, with a personalized and family feel. You will have all the attention on you. The other upside is that the prices are great. My dress was a consignment dress but they also have non-consignment. For the experience, price and attention - you can't make a better choice than coming here :)

This shop was such a sweet and positive space to try on wedding dresses. The people there were kind and accommodating and were able to give me honest and informed feedback about the try-ons. They give you their focused attention for the time you're in your appointment, and since the studio is small, there were only one or two other people there, which was nice for privacy. It was just a cozy experience, and I'm all about those good vibes during such a high-pressure life moment. They had an excellent selection, and I found my dream dress there for a great price.

This place is fantastic. I purchased my wedding gown and my shoes from here and everyone was so nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great deal.

Evie was wonderful to work with! She has picked out several dresses before I arrived at the shop based on the description of my venue and the look I was going for. I ended up choosing one of those dresses, even after trying on many in the style I thought I wanted. She was very patient and mindful of my budget. This shop was amazing! Every dress was beautiful and it made it very hard to pick since all of the items were such great products. They definitely added the personal touch and made the entire experience so very special! I highly recommend this place, especially if you need your dress sooner rather than later! Amy absolutely exceeded my expectations for dress shopping. I anticipated it being stressful, however it was so much fun and she did a wonderful job of selecting a variety of gowns. Being plus sized I was concerned, however there was plenty of selection and I felt beautiful the entire time. Of course the best part is I said yes to an amazing dress for an amazing price!!

If you’re looking for a place to try on wedding dresses that makes you feel comfortable and not like they’re trying to force you into a purchase... this is the most beautiful business to go to. They had plenty of options, their prices were wonderful, and I even found my veil the same day..The stylists were extremely knowledgeable and I’m beyond excited to wear my dress! The workers were so sweet and helpful! they really took their time helping me decide what dress I want. Prior to making an appointment I messaged the boutique via instagram and they were so responsive even after hours!

After looking at all the wedding dress shops in town, I was ready to give up. However, my mom had another idea and we made an appointment at Silk Bridal Studio. I was not optimistic after all the "failed" appointments. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find the PERFECT dress for me. Not only did we find my perfect dress, but we found my earrings, my veil, and my flower girls dress all at a reasonable price that was within my parent's budget. A similar dress at another shop was over their budget. I was the only bride there when I had my appointment, which was pre COVID, and it made me feel comfortable. I am so grateful we found our dress here and I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I had a wonderful experience in this place. The ladies were so helpful and kind. They worked as a team to find every detail of what I was looking for. I cannot recommend enough. They will listen to you and what you want.

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren and she was amazing! She noticed my nerves as I walked in and immediately made me feel comfortable with her warm and reassuring words. She was encouraging the entire time and was on point with dress selection ! It was like she was inside my head seeing what I was imagining . Every dress was unique and beautiful . They had a wide variety of styles . I cannot say enough about how wonderful Lauren is , but honestly the entire staff was great! They were all helping find my dream dress. The studio was intimate and exactly what we were looking for . And YES, I found my dress! AND it was affordable . I am seriously blown away by this bridal studio and couldn’t have wished for a better experience .

I would recommend Silk Bridal to anyone! Lauren, Evie, and Amy were AMAZING. They listened to what I wanted and pulled the perfect dresses for me to try on. They were helpful but not pushy and made dress shopping so fun! I loved that they had a great variety of styles for reasonable prices and that I could take the dress home that day.

Amy and Hayley were fantastic to work with to find my perfect cathedral veil. I ended up buying my earrings and necklace too! If you are looking for a simple modern veil at a price at a fraction of the typical cost, this is the dream place to go! They have such a good selection of bridal wear that satisfied a picky bride. They helped me with any questions, were super attentive to my needs, and gave me suggestions that I never would have thought about myself. The girls there are super knowledgeable and genuinely want to help their clients, not just make a profit.

The staff was so wonderful and made the experience stress free! There were a wide variety of dresses to search though without it being overwhelming. Also, I loved that THE dress was one I was able to take with me the same day. Just knowing I had my dress in my hands took away the stress of having to order one and wait!

I had visited several other salons and my experience at Silk Bridal Studio was off the charts. I had come to my appointment with a dress style in mind and Silk Bridal pulled many looks to appease this. My stylist pulled a completely different look (strapless dress) and added a lace jacket when she realized something was off. It was absolutely perfect! No other salon worked as hard to help me choose a dress. The dress and jacket were well below my budget and Silk Bridal Studio ensured I stuck to my budget. Finding a wedding dress during COVID is stressful enough and Silk Bridal Studio was able to give me an experience to remember, even if I wasn't able to have as many friends and family attend the appointment.

Silk was professional, considerate, and personable. I was just shopping for a veil, but they gave me all the time I needed and really worked to find a veil that matched my style. They made my experience really special. Also, they had a great selection of veils compared to a lot of the other places I went. Highly recommend!

I love the consignment aspect of this boutique. A lot of items in my life are second hand and I really wanted to give that special dress a second chance. It is a little smaller of a space, but that doesn't mean this place doesn't have a lot of offer. Amy really was patient and let me know things were easy to alter as I tried on probably way too many dresses. The dress I did pick though was already bustled, because consignment, and just needs little alterations for the perfect fit. It was a beautiful and amazing experience and I can't wait to share with other brides-to-be!

I absolutely loved my experience at Silk Bridal Studio!!! I made an appointment; my consultant, Amy, called the day before and just checked in about my budget, what types of dresses I was interested in, and told me to let her know if I had any questions or concerns. We got there - my mom, soon to be mother in law, sister, and grandmother - and she was ready for us. She had even pulled a few dresses for us to start, then gave me the opportunity to go look for myself. One of my favorite things about Silk is that they maintain an active Pinterest page of currently available dress options, and Amy had been so thoughtful as to look at my pins from their Pinterest page and pulling some of those dresses. She indicated some of my choices were way outside my price range, but I really respected that she was so thoughtful as to keep that in mind with what she pulled for me. Throughout the appointment, she was extremely helpful, let my family and I talk about each option. At the end of the appointment, it came down to two dresses, and she insisted I try them back on and even pulled some additional things like veils or hair pieces that would look good with the dresses. That day, I didn't expect to find my dress, but I fell in love with a beautiful gown and veil and it was all less than I expected to pay. It was a great experience, my consultant was respectful of my budget and time, and my family and I had a fantastic experience. Would highly highly recommend to anyone looking to do bridal consignment or even brides who are looking to do a wedding on a budget.

They were so so sweet and helped me to really envision what I could look like on my wedding day. They even looked up and found a piece of jewelry we described and ordered it for us. It was fun to meet them, to say yes, and to celebrate with them! (They even sent me a lovely follow-up card!) This should be a go to place to look for a wedding dress in Hampton Roads!! :)

The one stop shop to finding your perfect dress and accessories for the big day. Amy is a warm and welcoming expert. She made it less stressful and easy to find that one dress. I could not have asked for a better stylist. I highly recommend this boutique to all brides to be from all over the nation. I came from out of state just to visit this shop and I was happy to do so. Six stars out of five it that was an option.

Came in to this boutique on a whim by myself and they were very sweet and flexible. I tried on (my now wedding dress) and wasn't sure if I wanted to say yes without my mom. I made an appt. for the next week not expecting that dress to be available. As if it was meant to be I went in with my future sister in law and my mom and I tried on many dresses. The dress I originally tried on was it. I was very pleased how cool they were and comforting. I picked out the dress I wanted, and I was so impressed how well Evie paired accessories with my dress. My veil, to headpiece to sash she nailed it! She was also very honest and told me there was a small hole in the veil before purchasing (didnt even notice it). I appreciate the honesty. They didnt rush us after buying the dress and let us hangout with champagne. I love this mother daughter duo, they are first class. You made one happy bride!

I loved every minute of my appointment at Silk Bridal. Amy was more helpful and knowledgeable than I’d hoped for in a bridal consultant, and she encouraged me to try on anything I was interested in... which ultimately lead me to finding the perfect dress! She knew when the right time to suggest a waist sash, veil, and bouquet was, and she didn’t clip a veil to my head if I didn’t want her to, which other places did. The atmosphere of the store was calming, and the dressing rooms were comfortable and well lit. Amy and her daughter (another consultant) were very social and professional. I absolutely hope you go to Silk Bridal during your wedding dress journey, because I think it’s likely you’ll find your perfect dress!

When I say Evie , is GOD SENT! I literally just knew I wasn’t going to find “the yes dress” tried like 15 dresses and was ready to give up. Even said if I don’t find it, oh well I’ll keep trying :(.... Evie was determined , and sure enough , the LAST dress I tried on was THE ONE! I knew before she even finished tying the back of my dress!!! I love the her and her mom! They both have great customer service !!! Can’t wait till my big day!!!!!

I went to Silk Bridal Studio in November for my June wedding, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very welcoming, and Lauren (my consultant) was very helpful and accommodating. Selection and price were great, I was able to try on many dresses and ended the appointment finding the one; finishing with the champagne toast and a “I said yes to the dress sign”.

I had a fantastic experience at Silk Bridal in finding my wedding dress for my wedding in May. Evie was very attentive and helpful as I tired on several a dresses and tried to explain what I was looking for. Her mom, Amy, was also a delight to speak with and helpful as well. They have designer dresses for great prices due to receiving sample dresses. There is a great selection for all shapes and the customer service is fantastic. My dress consultant, Evie, was so patient and considerate. She really helped me pick out the perfect dress without pushing anything on me. There's no pressure to buy but I'm sure you'll find the dress here!

One weekend while my mother was in town we stopped by just to see what I had to do to look at the dresses and Amy welcomed us in. I was able to not only look at the dresses but try them on. I even found “the one” and purchased it that day. I came back in just under a month and picked the dress up with my future mother and sister in law and was able to try the dress on to show them. Silk Bridal Studio was everything I dreamed of, from trying on dresses and more. I plan to go back and have my alterations done in her studio. Remember to ask for Amy!

I loved my experience with Silk! We called last minute when in town and we were told to come by in between appointments. Upon arrival I immediately felt so comfortable and warm and found my dress after about 8 or 9 try ons! My experience was so fun and Amy made me feel so beautiful once I found my perfect dress. I would highly recommend Silk to anyone not just because of my experience but the prices are truly a steal!

These ladies are amazing! The studio is chic and not formal and stuffy like most bridal salons. Selection was great even for someone like me in a size 2 which is hard to find for off the rack dresses. I found a beautiful one of a kind Anne Barge dress. The staff was not pushy to make a sale and made me and my bridal party comfortable. The right amount of advise when needed. I will be sending any new bride to be here. I was very discouraged in my journey of finding the perfect wedding dress. It's not as easy as it seems. I had encountered many pushy salespeople in other stores that made me feel pressured and overwhelmed. However, when I came to Silk Bridal Studio, I had a completely different experience. It was intimate and genuine. They were so patient and kind, and wanted me to enjoy the process. They were honest and never pressured me. I ended up finding my dream wedding dress at an amazing price, and they celebrated with me with champagne! It was the best experience. I'd recommend it to anyone.

My wife came in and the girls were amazing. They gave us a very fair price and my fiancé came home very very happy to have found her dress. We have been looking for a dress for the past 3 months and this was the most stressful experience (that I’ve heard from the phone). The prices were great and the staff even better, I’m definitely recommending to my friends.

The staff at Silk Bridal studio is friendly, accomodating, and appropriately "oohed and ahhed" when I found my dress! They brought out champagne and took pictures with the "I said yes to my dress" sign. Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. My only complaint is that the dresses seem a little pricey for a consignment shop, and all sales are final.

I absolutely loved everything about my experience at Silk. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by who I assume is the owner/manager. Then the lady who assisted us (I wish I could remember her name, she was awesome!) let me start looking around. I was pretty dead-set on having a dress with long sleeves, but she helped me keep my ideas open. I ended up picking a dress that was way different than I had in mind, but it was perfect. She was so helpful in not only helping me pick dresses, but assisting me in them and picking out accessories that I had in mind to see what they would look like with the dress. Never once did I feel pressured at all, like I have at some other bridal studios. And hey, it doesn’t hurt that the prices were awesome as well. I would definitely recommend Silk to anyone who is looking to buy their dream dress!

These ladies were the sweetest! They were so warm, bright, and helpful. I came in looking for something totally different than what I fell in love with, which happened all because of their kind efforts. They dressed me up, helped me work out what kind of customizations or alterations I might want, and they even decked me out in the nicest tiaras and veils. During the initial phone call, they requested information regarding my budget, my style, and the number of guests that would accompany me to the appointment. When I arrived at the studio for my appointment, I was greeted immediately and introduced to my consultant, Evie. Since I provided information during the phone call about my budget and style, Evie already had a few dresses picked out for me to try on. She also invited me to browse through the gown options on the rack and took the time to explain the sizing differences. Evie made me feel comfortable throughout the process by assisting with the gowns, suggesting accessories, and providing excellent customer service. I was able to find the perfect wedding dress at Silk Bridal Studio and also purchased a beautiful headpiece. After I said "yes to the dress," we were offered a glass of champagne to celebrate. During the checkout process, Evie was gracious enough to extend a military discount, as my partner is in the Navy. I was only planning to browse and find a gown style that I liked, but I am so glad that I found "the one!" Highly recommend!!

Outstanding service! When I arrived for my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was the only bride there and that the studio was clean and bright. When Amy asked me what kind of dress I was looking for, I told her I was open to different styles, but I wasn't willing to exceed my tight budget. She guided my selections and even picked a few dresses I might not have considered, all the while respecting my budget. She styled each dress I considered with veils and accessories, and was never once pushy or overbearing. I ended up leaving without a dress, since I had an appointment at a store that I knew carried a particular style I hadn't had a chance to try yet... When I called her 5 minutes after closing to tell her I wanted to come back for a dress I had loved, she stayed long enough to greet me with a congratulatory hug and a glass of champagne! It all started with a phone call to set up an appointment – I needed the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend as that was when my mom was visiting. A week before my appointment, I received a phone call to confirm the appointment but so much more. They genuinely wanted to get to know me a little bit asked a bunch of questions to hone in on my style and what I was looking for. When we arrived for our appointment I felt super special as my name was on their “Welcome chalkboard” at the entrance. We found that there was a good selection and they were extremely helpful and patient. It was a very personalized service – like I was their only bride to be. I didn’t expect it but I walked out of there with my wedding dress. And to cap it all off, they sent me the kindest thank you note a week later. Great customer service. Would recommend to my friends and family!

I originally went to David’s bridal to look for my wedding dress. I was there over an hour and a half and the person helping me was not in tune to what I liked and was uninterested. My second stop was silk bridal and me and all my sisters were greeted and my associate had dresses ready for me to try. I was there about half an hour and the final dress she picked out for me was the dress I walked out with! I couldn’t be happier with service I received and the dress I purchased! I highly recommend!

I went in not really sure of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like. Evie was so helpful and patient while I tried to express my ideas and look at gowns I thought I might like. She pulled almost 12 gowns and after trying on TWO I had found my dress. She celebrated with my mom, sister, and me, and she was just as excited as we were about finding my dress! I went into Silk on a whim - just happened to be in the area and thought I'd see what they had. Evie and Amy were SO kind and helpful. They immediately made me feel comfortable and asked plenty of questions about my style and preferences. Amy was quickly able to interpret my desires and style and picked out some beautiful gowns. She was also super patient as I decided what I did and didn't like. Just when I thought I was done, she pulled one more for me to try, and it was PERFECT. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was my dress -- and it was not at ALL what I expected. Not only that, but the price was perfect. She also helped me find the perfect accessories (again, things I never would have thought I'd like that I absolutely fell in love with!). I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience.

It was my first experience trying on wedding dresses, so I didn’t know what to expect and felt unprepared to go visit a shop. This would the second dress store that I went in and they were amazing from the moment I walked in!! I called to schedule a last minute appointment and they were so accommodating! My name was on the sign out front and they let me try on all the dresses I wanted with absolutely no pressure to buy if I didn’t like them! They cared about you feeling good and comfortable in a dress that I truly loved!! I’m so glad that I found my perfect dress at this store!! If you’re looking for a dress store, definitely try them!! They are amazing and have great customer service!!

I was so pleased today coming into here. The atmosphere was great. Evie made it a great experience especially since I was terrified after going to David’s Bridal. Both ladies were very nice and commented on every dress but did not force me into anything I did not want. I’m so glad I got to say yes to my dress! Thank you ladies and I’m hopeful everyone comes to see these ladies. They do everything they can to make you comfortable.

What a wonderful experience! There were so many beautiful dresses, there was no way I could leave without one! The store was personal and very clean. Amy was extremely helpful and guided me through my selections with ease. I am SO glad I went to Silk Bridal Studio for my wedding dress! They were so welcoming from the beginning with a sweet chalk board that had my name on it for my appointment. I made the appointment online and within an hour, Amy called me to get an idea about what style of wedding dress I wanted. When we arrived, she had multiple dresses picked out for me in my size, and let us look through the studio to find any others that interested me. The studio is set up so nicely, too! The changing rooms were spacious with plenty of room to move around and get dressed in, and the seating for guests was comfortable as well. I loved how patient Amy and her daughter, Evie were during the entire appointment. I never felt rushed or pushed to buy a dress. Amy was amazing at finding different accessories to make the dresses pop and we all had such a fun time! I ended up finding my dream dress at the store, and to celebrate, they gave my mother and I a glass of champagne to toast! I even came home to a personalized thank you note from Amy. I would 100% recommend Silk Bridal Studio to any future bride looking for a beautiful gown with amazing hosts. Thank you Amy and Evie!

I really enjoyed my experience at Silk. Silk is a small, family-run, bride-centered local business. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive to my needs, and they make your experience dress shopping both personal and celebratory. I thought the prices were reasonable and the dresses were very high quality. I'm very excited to have found a dress that's the right price, right style, and right fit. Overall, I'm so glad to have found my dress there - this is a great business and a great experience.

First of all, Evie is an absolute doll who genuinely wants her brides to be happy! I am a bride who needed multiple appointments to "Say Yes to the Dress!". After my initial appointment trying on about 8 or 10 dresses, I left feeling a little discouraged. I went to another bridal shop with my girls, which helped narrow down the shape and style I was looking for, but I ultimately knew that I wanted to go back to Silk. I emailed Evie pictures of myself in the dresses and she was on the lookout for similar styles. About 2 weeks later I was browsing Silk's Pinterest Page (I LOVE that they do this, definitely check it out so you can see what they have in store) and saw a dress that although a little out of the box for me, looked stunning and had strong potential. Ironically, Evie emailed me a few days later with that same dress and asked if I'd like to come back in to try it out. After going in alone and then back again with my sister, I still needed some time to think it over. I never felt pressured to make a quick decision and never felt rushed in the process. The third time back at Silk was a charm and I know that I made the right choice!! Intimate shop with amazing customer service by individuals who truly love what they do. The ladies are even continuing to help me by keeping their eyes peeled for certain accessories to complete my look! Go to Silk, their compassion cannot be beat!

I had a wonderful experience with Silk Bridal. I had shopped around the Norfolk, Virginia Beach, area for weeks and Silk Bridal had the absolute best prices that I could fine. Not only were the dresses marked reasonably, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could stay within my budget and still get my dream dress. 10/10 would recommend!

Silk bridal studio was incredible! Amy and Evie are a mother daughter combo who know their wedding dresses and super nice to work with! I found my dress in less than an hour of being there and they were kind and accommodating to everything I needed. We even celebrated with a champagne toast :) and Amy sent me a handwritten thank you card. I felt right at home and it was everything and more than I ever imagained for a wedding gown shopping experience. Her selection of gowns is beautiful and the dresses are stored well and in like new condition. I took my dress home that day. Thankfully I barely need any alterations! I highly recommend Silk :)
