ABOUT CHARLES TORREALBA
My name is Charles Torrealba and I am a Brazilian bred, but world made photographer. I simply strive to capture moments in time that will live forever through my art. As someone raised in the Latin American heat (Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico) and hardened in the Canadian winters. I've found a middle ground in Los Angeles, California, which I now call, home, where I live with my wife, and our two Boston Terriers, Moose and Sebastian.

He knew exactly how to turn out 7 hour event into a 5 minute video without missing anything. We feel he truly captured every moment beautifully and in a style and way that speaks to us as a couple.
Charles is really talented at making you feel comfortable and unlike many wedding videographers, wasn't "all up in our business" throughout the night. I see videographers all over in people's faces and he didn't do that at all. He was amazing to say the least and I am so happy he was present to capture our day.
He had our edited video back to us within two weeks of our wedding and has been so helpful and such a joy to get to know him.

For many, having a wedding is a once in a lifetime experience. Because of that, you get one shot at it and don't know really what you want until it's over. If we could suggest anything, we would hands down recommend having a videographer capture your most special moments. We had a civil ceremony in beautiful Laguna Beach and the big wedding day was exactly 3 months later in a cemetery which he also photographed. Our beach photos are so beautiful and they look like they’re straight from a magazine. And he was a total trooper taking photos in the sand and sun. Not to mention the long drive to/from locations and equipment he had to bring. He went above and beyond! Come wedding day was as smooth as butter. our first look through our ceremony to Bixby bridge where we gazed out on the ocean for the first time as husband and wife, Silver and Soul was hiding in the trees and bushes to catch all of our loving gazes at one another. We hardly knew they were there which was one thing we loved. And later on at Garapatta state park with some subtle direction he was able to capture a set of stunning pictures and gasping shots of us while we were glowing with newly wed joy. They were a perfect match for us and we often stare at our multiple framed photos we have around the house, not to mention the constant slideshow on our laptop screen savers of all the masterfully captured moments of our wonderful day.

ed,” and Charles delivered! We chose a package that included wedding photos and an engagement shoot. We had done an engagement shoot with another photographer but weren’t satisfied, so this was our “do-over.” Photos came back so beautiful!
He’s very personable and professional, and he truly took the time before the wedding to discuss our wants and needs. Our wedding included certain unique cultural traditions, and Charles worked with us to make sure he didn’t miss any of the important moments or people. Any time I had a question or concern leading up to the wedding, he was right there when we needed him!
Wedding day went super smoothly and his entire photography team did an excellent job. They captured the mood of the wedding, countless candid shots, and so many wonderful moments. Charles is very clear and communicative during more “posed shots” (i.e wedding party photos, the engagement photo shoot we did) which helped put our wedding party at ease. Even after the wedding, all our guests were still talking about how wonderful Charles and Cate were when he was photographing our ceremony and reception.
I don’t remember precisely how long after the wedding we got the photos back, I just remember that it was much quicker than expected. Everyone who sees our wedding photos LOVE them.

y professional with a great group of second shooters. We had a lower-budget backyard wedding on one of the hottest days in July and our pictures came out amazing. You would never be able to tell where we cut corners and that we were all a sweaty mess. We requested a more editorial style versus all that over-filtered stuff you see floating around Pinterest and he definitely delivered and then some. After we circulated our photos around to family and friends, everyone wanted his name!
