In the beginning (before our deposit was made), our producer was communicative, friendly, and accessible. I was informed of a process that seemed great for our timeline and needs, which is not what we received at all. About a month out from our wedding we received an automated email from the producer, which articulated a very different timeline than what we were told originally. In the email it indicated that a final call would be scheduled 5 - 8 days before the event to finalize all the details. Despite a few polite and professionally spaced emails and phone calls to the producer, I waited 3 weeks with radio silence before receiving an email that said: "We are giving 100% focus on the events directly in front of us and yours is coming up very soon." We didn't get a chance to connect with our producer until 5 days before our wedding to discuss the set list and special request (which they didn't have time to accommodate). The musicians were wonderful and great performers - no complaint there. :) They ended up playing mostly their own set list, with a few songs from our lists of requests that were already in their repertoire. They stopped promptly at 8:45 and started packing up, even though our producer said he would ask them to play through till 9pm when our wedding ended (awkward!). Not surprising that didn't get communicated. This is a hard review to write because these are incredibly difficult times we are living in - that goes without saying. Given that we are all navigating challenges in our personal lives due to the pandemic, I would hope for more transparency in a professional context around communication timelines and asking for help if it's needed. Radio silence for weeks on end is unprofessional in any context, but especially painful in the context of planning an important event - it was incredibly stressful to say the least. Our entire experience working with the producer lacked professionalism, didn't inspire trust or confidence, and presented false expectations of the way we could collaborate with the band. I'm grateful the musicians themselves were friendly, talented, and put on a great show - but I would not work with Silver Arrow again.

Garrett, our producer (and phenomenal lead singer/guitarist), helped us curate a perfect playlist that captured our vibe as a couple. Our guests haven't stopped raving about the band! We would recommend Silver Arrow a million times over to any couple!

itical if the band is a bit off. These guys were killer. They had a great mix of tunes that literally kept the dance floor full THE ENTIRE NIGHT. Their energy was 110%, and they were incredibly interactive with the crowd. At one point, my dad ended up playing some guitar with the band, and the flower girl requested to sing a song as well, which was not in the plan! We had the band MC our wedding party and reception, and also play during the ceremony. It was the perfect touch, and went off without a hitch. These guys are incredibly receptive to making sure its what YOU want on the big day. We had high expectations from hearing and reading reviews from these guys, and they literally blew them out of the water. Lastly starting rates for Silver Arrow Band were shockingly low compared to the other local acts. It is no exaggeration when we say they helped make our day that much more special, and one heck of a party!

We hired Silver Arrow to play piano during our outdoor ceremony, jazz trio during our cocktail hour, and as a five-piece band during the reception. All of the musicians were incredibly talented. Many of our guests said that Silver Arrow was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. The band even accommodated playing a special version of our first dance song. Everyone was on the dance floor at one point, and the dance floor was packed for the ENTIRE reception. They played the exact right kind of music, and a great variety. The energy was so high all night, I didn’t want my wedding to end. Liz was so easy to work with. Using the webpage she sent us to fill in our likes, dislikes, special songs, and timeline made it so simple. When we talked the week of the wedding on the phone to nail things down, we just had to run through everything, and she asked more specific questions about genres and specific songs we wanted/did not want played. In addition to playing the right music, the musicians themselves were so talented! They learned an acoustic version of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters for our first dance and it was everything we could have wanted. The band was super fun, and we’re so cool and let one of my coworkers play the tambourine! I feel like I cannot give the band the review they deserve! They really made my wedding everything! 100% would recommend booking Silver Arrow Band!

ceremony string players were something that just happened without my having to even think about it, the band itself was professional, well timed, FUN and got everyone up (even my father and mother in law which I did not think would happen). He gave me great advice, steered me in the right direction, and reassured me all along the way. I truly felt that I had his full help, and support, for the big day. The band nailed it all; ceremony, reception, reading the crown, toasts, dances, etc. A live band was a bit of a splurge for us, and it was worth EVERY penny! Literally every guest raved about them - we couldn't have asked for more!

I have to be honest one of the best moments I’ve ever seen at any wedding was the completely packed crowded dance floor booing the band for needing to take a break because the guests didn’t want the crazy dance party to stop for even one second. The band was back in record time and kept the party going through the very last second of the night. The band team was so easy to work with. Web tools are set up to make sure everything went off without a hitch and the band coordinator Andrew, was a delight to work with. From the beautifully executed piano solo during the ceremony, to the lively trio during the cocktail hour through the roof shaking non-stop all out party that was the reception we literally could not have dreamed up a better performance at every turn. The amount of times that we heard “the band!!!” “This is the best wedding band I’ve ever seen!” “This band is amazing!” is countless. People will be talking about our wedding for years and it’s in LARGE part to the Silver Arrow Band!!!

was beautiful. For our first dances our musical choices were very specific songs that are not mainstream and the band was able to execute them flawlessly. For our reception we provided Silver Arrow with a detailed list of the types of music and songs that we like (2000s punk rock for the bride and house music for the groom). The band was able to play everything from Fallout Boy to Calvin Harris and included all types of music that kept everyone dancing all night! Our guests of all ages enjoyed the performance, Silver Arrow made it a wonderful night!

They have a really handy client page that you can use to input your wedding day timeline and other details (like music likes/dislikes and MC details, should you choose to use their MC services...which I'd recommend!). This was super helpful to ensure we (the couple) and the band were on the same page about all of the details. On the day of the wedding, the band NAILED it. They were fun, personable, and SO incredibly talented, and had everyone dancing all night. Many guests have since told us that Silver Arrow was the best wedding band they'd ever experienced...and we'd agree. :) I really can't recommend them highly enough. 9/15/18 Gold Coast mansion Long Island wedding, let me just tell you, I had set the bar pretty high in my mind for our wedding band. After researching online, reading the reviews (which every bride drives herself crazy with!), as well as asking people for recommendations, my now-husband and I hit up DROM for a SAB showcase. Let me tell you, two songs in, we were hooked! They were ridiculously amazing and the Best Man that was with us at the showcase said we just lit up dancing in our seats to the multi-piece band. Trying to get a response initially was a little bit of a headache (it was wedding season after all), as we were quite persistent, as we didn't want to lose them to another couple for our date, but once we connected with Andrew, things were 110% smooth. We went with an 11-piece band (insane!) and the online form was a great feature, as it allowed me to update it with information for our special dances months in advance and have our planner, Leah Weinberg of Color Pop Events, upload the day-of timeline to them directly. We had a fantastic call with Andrew the week of the wedding and they certainly delivered the night of. I've heard our cocktail pianist was lovely (didn't quite make it into that room ourselves!), but the band and our female MC (who does a KILLER Tina Turner!!) were nothing but amazing from 9:30 pm – 12:15 am. People were always on the dance floor and they just played the most amazing mix of songs that everyone knew. Thank you, Andrew & and Silver Arrow Band musicians for an incredible night that I will never forget... as I made a point to be on the dance floor as much as possible and you allowed me to do just that!
