and violin combo was perfect. The cocktail hour was great. The reception was exactly what we wanted. Neither one of us is a huge dancer but we wanted to create a live music atmosphere in our music room that could be heard outside but also be inviting for people to hit the dance floor. The band did exactly that. They played songs we requested, they provided 2 indoor sets and 1 outdoor, an MC and they DJd when they weren't playing. Outstanding Job!! Highly recommend you hire these guys.

band is extremely talented but they lack professionalism and do not care about your special day. Here a few of the bad things that happened: 1) At the end of the ceremony, the pianist was delayed in starting our recessional song. We were just standing up at the altar waiting for the music to start....trust me, this is stressful when you want to rejoice down the aisle with music playing. 2) The band started the cocktail hour music 30mins late - how incredibly awkward to have your cocktail hour start with silence in the background when you’re expecting jazz. 3) I booked 5 hours of continuous music, but the band took a 2 hour break between 6 and 8pm, not playing one live song the whole time. The band was just hanging inside our house - I went inside and asked that they go back out to play but they refused. 4) We requested a specific song to conclude the night, which they played via iPod. We were all doing a singalong, and they pulled the plug on the song right in the middle of it — which seemed out of spite. This moment was truly embarrassing for us. 5) I spent a long time putting together a list of music preferences, which the band essentially ignored. When you ask for rock music and only hear Motown, it’s frustrating. Our guests noticed how bad the band experience was and it was really embarrassing for us. We love live music so this was beyond disappointing. Highly suggest looking elsewhere for your wedding day music. Thank you.

munication in the lead up was a little tricky since the coordinator wasn’t a member of the day-of band. But the band was amazing on our wedding day and had everyone up and dancing the whole night! The band also provided ceremony music and a trio for the cocktail hour, both of which were great. All in all, we highly recommend.

He was great with communication and organization. Everything went so smoothly on the day of, in large part due to Andy's working with us to prepare all of the details ahead of time. ed for our choreographed first dance. Weeks ahead of the wedding, I spoke with our band coordinator (who was NOT one of the band members, which I think is part of the issue). I asked her whether the band would feel comfortable playing a shortened version of our first dance song. It was a touch faster than normal, and about 30 seconds at the very end were taken out. Very simple changes. I sent her the audio of the EXACT mp3 we wanted the band to play. Knowing that it was an altered song though, I said that it would absolutely be OK if we just use the recorded version if they were not able to do it exactly as we wanted. She insisted that the band would be more than comfortable playing it exactly, and I trusted her. Sadly, the band did not play the song as they were supposed to. We had memorized every word of the song by this point, from so much practicing, and the singer didn’t even know the words of the song. This made remembering our cues difficult. Then, the band stopped the song WAY too early---- cutting off all of our crescendo, our big final dance moves, and forcing us to end our first dance abruptly in the middle of a random turn. It was a HUGE bummer. It’s been over a month now, and it still puts a pit in my stomach. I’m so disappointed. I wish we would have used a recorded version, or had gone with a band that does NOT put a random group of people together so that I could have spoken with the band directly ahead of time. Furthermore, the band played a lot of music that was poorly received and didn’t get the crowd dancing. Song after song that I'd never heard before in my life. I wanted to ask them several times to start playing the hits, any hits, but rather I decided to just make the best of the day and go with the flow. Toward the end of the night, the band played a recorded song requested by a guest during their break, and allowed the song to play TWICE. Everyone was confused why the same song was being played a second time. I, the bride, finally had to leave the dance floor and walk over to where the band was sitting back and relaxing, and ask them why they were letting the song play over and over. All in all, I regret choosing a band that I couldn’t speak with members of directly ahead of time. I think the concept of SAB is great, but because it makes communication and knowing what you'll get more difficult, I encourage you to be careful!

e musicians on their online videos would be playing at our wedding. This was not the case. After we booked he sent us an email stating that we needed to pick our musicians ASAP as many of them were booking out from other weddings. This included all the musicians on their video- aka the best musicians. We were not made aware anytime prior to booking that the musicians were a first come first serve basis. While the musicians we ultimately chose were talented, just be aware that you cannot reliably use their videos as a reference for what you will get as ours was definitely different. Andrae had a very dismissive nature. All communication was limited to emails which would have been fine if we received clear and fast responses. He was very nonchalant and kept dismissing our concerns. He constantly stated that it would be fine and that they’ve done this a million times in the past and that “it’s going to be a crazy party.” His emails clearly showed that we were not a priority. It got to the point where we wanted to cancel our contract however couldn’t book another band on our day. Closer the the wedding day I called him and asked if we could meet in person to finalize our plans and unanswered questions. He told me that he didn’t have time to meet because he was planning 6 other weddings for that day. For 5 grand, I did not want to hear that he had no time for me. He started getting defensive saying that he has a family to take care of, a second job at the hospital and was trying to place guilt on me for even asking to meet up. Completely unprofessional. Here are examples of things at our wedding that we were unpleased about 1. He told us to submit our song list which my wife and I spent many hours making. Only about 5-6 songs that we requested were played. 2. We Requested the band to play the original for our first dance rather than live since we felt it would be difficult to mimic. He said that it was fine and that the band can easily learn it. Their live rendition was completely different then the original. 3. I asked Andrae if the band needed to come earlier to do a sound check because our ceremony was right next to the reception. He said there was no need for a sound check and once again “it’ll be fine”. During the bands break, there was something wrong with the speakers when played off the laptop, the volume was very low. I asked if they could fix this as it severely killed the dancing atmosphere. They didn’t know what was wrong with it. A sound check should have been done. Wasn’t the end of the world but again, expected more from a professional group. Overall I will say that the musicians themselves were very pleasant and talented. Our guests did dance a lot so were were pleased with that. However the experience prior to our wedding day was absolutely awful with Andrae. So much unnecessary stress and frustration. He lacks leadership and the organizational skills required in a wedding business. For the money we paid there are dozens of other bands in the area that will deliver high quality services. Unless there is a change in management in the Albany region I would be extremely hesitant to book in that area with Silver Arrow. As I said earlier, if you are in a different region, I have heard wonderful things so do not rule them out completely.

Thai, our band manager played keyboards on the night of the wedding with the band members who just “rocked it”. Vocals were incredible. They are truly amazing and a pleasure to work with. I can’t wait until our family has a next event so that we can be reunited with the band once again. Silver Arrow Band is simply “The Best”! You won’t be disappointed.

During the cocktail hour we had a trio play, which was lovely. The reception was amazing and SAB had people dancing all night long! Extremely taalented musicians!! Highly recommend SAB!

itical if the band is a bit off. These guys were killer. They had a great mix of tunes that literally kept the dance floor full THE ENTIRE NIGHT. Their energy was 110%, and they were incredibly interactive with the crowd. At one point, my dad ended up playing some guitar with the band, and the flower girl requested to sing a song as well, which was not in the plan! We had the band MC our wedding party and reception, and also play during the ceremony. It was the perfect touch, and went off without a hitch. These guys are incredibly receptive to making sure its what YOU want on the big day. We had high expectations from hearing and reading reviews from these guys, and they literally blew them out of the water. Lastly starting rates for Silver Arrow Band were shockingly low compared to the other local acts. It is no exaggeration when we say they helped make our day that much more special, and one heck of a party!

We hired Silver Arrow to play piano during our outdoor ceremony, jazz trio during our cocktail hour, and as a five-piece band during the reception. All of the musicians were incredibly talented. Many of our guests said that Silver Arrow was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. The band even accommodated playing a special version of our first dance song. Everyone was on the dance floor at one point, and the dance floor was packed for the ENTIRE reception. They played the exact right kind of music, and a great variety. The energy was so high all night, I didn’t want my wedding to end. Liz was so easy to work with. Using the webpage she sent us to fill in our likes, dislikes, special songs, and timeline made it so simple. When we talked the week of the wedding on the phone to nail things down, we just had to run through everything, and she asked more specific questions about genres and specific songs we wanted/did not want played. In addition to playing the right music, the musicians themselves were so talented! They learned an acoustic version of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters for our first dance and it was everything we could have wanted. The band was super fun, and we’re so cool and let one of my coworkers play the tambourine! I feel like I cannot give the band the review they deserve! They really made my wedding everything! 100% would recommend booking Silver Arrow Band!

ceremony string players were something that just happened without my having to even think about it, the band itself was professional, well timed, FUN and got everyone up (even my father and mother in law which I did not think would happen). They played something for everyone and kept the night moving. My husband is a big dancer, and let's just say he got his steps in.

The band nailed it all; ceremony, reception, reading the crown, toasts, dances, etc. A live band was a bit of a splurge for us, and it was worth EVERY penny! Literally every guest raved about them - we couldn't have asked for more!

I was down in the bridal suite below the dance floor and it sounded like the building was going to collapse from the dancing and jumping. I have to be honest one of the best moments I’ve ever seen at any wedding was the completely packed crowded dance floor booing the band for needing to take a break because the guests didn’t want the crazy dance party to stop for even one second. The band was back in record time and kept the party going through the very last second of the night. The band team was so easy to work with. Web tools are set up to make sure everything went off without a hitch and the band coordinator Andrew, was a delight to work with. From the beautifully executed piano solo during the ceremony, to the lively trio during the cocktail hour through the roof shaking non-stop all out party that was the reception we literally could not have dreamed up a better performance at every turn. The amount of times that we heard “the band!!!” “This is the best wedding band I’ve ever seen!” “This band is amazing!” is countless. People will be talking about our wedding for years and it’s in LARGE part to the Silver Arrow Band!!!

was beautiful. For our first dances our musical choices were very specific songs that are not mainstream and the band was able to execute them flawlessly. For our reception we provided Silver Arrow with a detailed list of the types of music and songs that we like (2000s punk rock for the bride and house music for the groom). The band was able to play everything from Fallout Boy to Calvin Harris and included all types of music that kept everyone dancing all night! Our guests of all ages enjoyed the performance, Silver Arrow made it a wonderful night!

They have a really handy client page that you can use to input your wedding day timeline and other details (like music likes/dislikes and MC details, should you choose to use their MC services...which I'd recommend!). This was super helpful to ensure we (the couple) and the band were on the same page about all of the details. On the day of the wedding, the band NAILED it. They were fun, personable, and SO incredibly talented, and had everyone dancing all night. Many guests have since told us that Silver Arrow was the best wedding band they'd ever experienced...and we'd agree. :) I really can't recommend them highly enough. The compliments from our guests have not stopped pouring in. They're attention to the atmosphere and mood was on point and we danced the night away! I've never seen a band so engaging in all the right ways. Highly recommend and worth every penny!
