Our wedding planner actually recommended a different photographer, but we just didn't feel the right vibe. We knew as soon as we met with the team at Silver Bear that they were going to be our photography/videography team. They are the perfect combination of professional and personal. They made us feel like their friends who would also happen to be photographing us. We had an extensive planning session long before our actual wedding day. Within a week of our wedding, they touched base with us to make sure we understood their process and they understood our expectations. During the wedding day, they captured magical moments without being obtrusive to our guests or even us. Looking back at the photos, we didn't even realize they were capturing some of the moments. We feel like their pricing is in line with other photographers, but their advantage is that you get photography and videography together. Silver Bear's quote for photography and videography together was equal to just the photography quote from the photographer our planner recommended. You also don't have to worry about whether the photographer and videographer will work well together, as you would if you booked each separately. We could go on and one about how personable and professional they are and the value for the price. Just check out their IG and give them a call to schedule a prospective planning session. They also have great packages with different options and add-ons and we really felt like we were getting our money’s worth. We selected bridals, extra team members and additional cuts of our big day just to name a few. We met before our big day to talk thru shots that mattered to us & share ideas and Allison really blew it out of the water on day of. Allison and Chris and their team were wonderful people which really helped us relax and enjoy ourselves and I really feel like our wedding was perfectly captured from the small details to the hilarious dance floor pictures and I’m so grateful for the Silver Bear Team. We got a sneak peak of our wedding video and I definitely watched it over a 100 times! Chris made our wedding feel like movie love story and I can’t wait to see the full length film because I know it is going to make me cry! Other things to highlight, turnaround time was quick & they delivered when they said they would. The online gallery is so easy to use and share and our families and friends were/are obsessed with what we have gotten back! Couldn’t recommend this team more!

it was 100% worth every penny!! We got to do an engagement session in the Fall and a bridal session the month before with Allison, both of which turned out spectacular. For our big day we choose to have a 2nd shooter for our third add on and both Allison+Will were just amazing the entire day; they were with us from around noon to 11pm which allowed them to capture so many moments. The hair and makeup ran very far behind but we still were able to get all our photos (bridal party+fam, groomsmen+fam, first look, and couple+family photos) done before the ceremony with 15 minutes to spare even! They know exactly where to put everyone so they get the shots so quickly. Everything from getting ready through the ceremony turned out great, but our reception dancing photos are next level AMAZING! The pure joy and celebration captured in those photos will truly be cherished for a lifetime. Allison was great at helping suggest dates, times, and location for everything and her posing guidance is so, so helpful to not feel completely awkward in front of the camera. I will say the only downside is you are going to have to buy a digital photo frame after hiring the Silver Bear Team as there is no way to pick between the thousands of incredible photos! my photographer for my wedding. Their work is absolutely stunning, natural and stands out from many others. They did our engagement, bridal and wedding photos and not one of them was I disappointed in or had any complaints. Allison was very patient with me when we had to change up our engagement location last minute, also continued taking photos when it started to rain a bit. For my bridal photos I wanted them at The State Fair of Texas, not only was Allison honest with possible challenges but was up for it and gave me so much confidence in my decision in sticking with my idea. Arriving at the fair they were ready and had already found some great spots to take pictures. Not only did they squeeze into the ferris wheel to get some photos but also went on a few other rides to get some amazing and memorable shots. Two short days later was our wedding and once again they were ready for another great day. If you are wanting photos you can look back on and relive the moment, that captures every emotion, detail and beauty, then you have found your photographer. To have the ability to relive those very import moments again and again is something I will forever treasure. I made a list of detail photos I wanted from the day and not only did they do every photo on the list, they took more details that I didn’t think of. Leaving us with a time capsule of how beautiful the day was. Our wedding theme was Golden Hour and Allison and Jessica took the most beautiful and stunning golden hour photos of us during cocktail hour capturing the mood we wanted. I could say so much more on how amazing they are. They were always so professional, great to be around and most importantly never missed a moment, even ones I didn’t know they were around to get. I now will forever have the ability to look back and enjoy my day over and over again. You will not be disappointed or regret choosing them. I highly recommend, so much so I am trying to find more reasons to hire them for more great memories to be captured.

I feel truly blessed that we got to spend our day with them, as they truly have a magical way of connecting with each individual person. most genuine people you could ask to work with - which is so important!! They were a calming presence and knew how to get gorgeous shots quickly and efficiently. Everybody in our family and bridal party was pleased with their ability to get all the shots we wanted - and we have huge extended families! What makes Silver Bear special is their ability to capture small and meaningful moments along with the big moments. Some of our favorite pictures from our wedding day were little moments - a smile, a look, etc. They capture the emotion and story behind your day so naturally. Allison even had the idea for us to recreate my grandparent's wedding picture we had on display at the reception in our getaway car at the end of the night. That thought never crossed my mind and now thanks to her we have a treasured family heirloom. Our wedding video was absolutely stellar too! We had Jessica with us for our wedding day photos and she was great! We anxiously waited for our wedding gallery and then could not have been happier with all of the photos. We also had the inconvenience of having our wedding planned during COVID. Allison worked with us fairly close to our wedding date to help get a live stream set up for our family and friends who could not attend our wedding. Along with the live stream, we had Kris and Ryan for our wedding day videographers. Having our ceremony, speeches, and a feature video of our wedding day will be something we cherish forever. The videos came out amazing and the team was great. The quality of the films feel like you are watching a movie. Kris and Ryan were so awesome to work with and kept us laughing the whole day. I saw Kris and Ryan getting down and dirty on the dance floor with all the guests; Allison & her second shooter somehow seemed to be everywhere, capturing every moment and I knew we had to reach out to them. I hadn't even seen their work yet. The next day I stalked them online and then waited a bit to see our friend's photos. We were AMAZED by how the pictures and video came out. Remember how I said it was important to us that the cost matched the value? Well, Silverbear's value EXCEEDED the cost by far. They are more than worth it. The best money we spent was on silverbear. A lot of people will tell you to skimp on photography & videography. DO NOT DO IT. Invest in it. Video brings everything back to life, and I promise you will want and need that for how fast your wedding day will go by. BTW - they travel! :D

I will never forget the way we felt when we got in the limo at the end of the night and we couldn't stop talking about Silver Bear and how we couldn't wait to see what they capture. The first meeting with them was so welcoming and stress-free in their studio, I just couldn’t believe how easy it was to get along with them. Five minutes after walking out of our meeting we called and booked them! I couldn’t picture my wedding without them being there to capture our day. Throughout the engagement process, Alison was there via text with any questions or reference help that I needed. Alison even referred my makeup artist to me! We rescheduled our engagement pictures 3 times before weather and timing finally worked out, but they were so easy to communicate and plan with. And then our pictures were even more amazing than we could’ve hoped for! If you have seen their work, it speaks for itself. They are truly artists. They capture moments that I didn’t even know were happening. The photos from our wedding were so amazing and creative that I constantly look at them even months after our wedding day. We felt like our photos were unique to us, and completely resembled us as a couple. Kris and Ryan did an amazing job on our wedding video. On our day they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, even though that is NOT our thing. Somehow, the two of them were able to be in all of the right places at the right times. They are truly great at what they do because they filmed such raw moments and edited it so beautifully in our final video it makes me cry happy tears every time I watch it. All of the Silverbear Crew were punctual and professional in all aspects of the wedding process, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone who is getting married.
