Silver Fork Vineyard & Winery

From the first time I visited Silver Fork for a wine tasting, I had this amazing feeling that I wanted to get married there. And we did! Silver Fork checked all the boxes for our venue wish list, and exceeded them all. Gorgeous mountain views, a sprawling vineyard, and an all-in-one facility at the Pavilion made our day spectacular. The Pavilion was perfect for our wedding of 80 guests and kept the feeling intimate while giving people room to dance. Jennifer and Ed are rockstars. Jennifer and her staff were so amazing at coordinating our day that I didn’t have to think about a thing—it was handled. They also provided great vendor recommendations that helped us a lot with the planning process from afar. If you’re considering SFW, you won’t regret having your venue, coordination, staffing, and rentals all in one vendor. The best part of all is that we can visit any time for live music and a glass of local wine and relive our favorite day ever.

Our wedding was held at The Pavilion at Silver Fork, which is right down the hill from their wonderful winery, Silver Fork Winery. My husband and I love their wine and they have an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains. They host many types of events at their Pavilion (fundraisers for various causes, rehearsal dinners, weddings, etc.). We had our wedding there and I couldn't have picked a better place. The owners, Jennifer and Ed, are super nice and funny. Jennifer helped tremendously with the wedding planning. She asked all the right questions (questions I hadn't even thought about) to get things done on time. Whatever we needed, she tried her best to help us. She is super woman! Jennifer and Ed are such happy and patient people, and we're so lucky we got to work with them. My husband and I had our engagement pictures done at their winery and vineyard. I also had my bridal portraits taken there in their super cute bridal suite and pavilion property. Silver Fork is such a beautiful place. Jennifer and Ed not only helped us over the months leading up to the wedding, they were also there on the day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly. Tents can put up outside to make extra space for guests if more room is needed. Jennifer and Ed also helped us figure out how we wanted the venue to be decorated because I literally had no idea what I was doing. They have staff to put up and take down decorations. They also have staff that go around and pick up dishes and glasses after guests are done with them. The end of the night was worry free when it came to cleaning because Jennifer, Ed, and their staff had it all taken care of. Jennifer and Ed are great at giving advice on party planning. They also know how to throw great parties! I will always hold this place dear to my heart. My husband and I have made many great memories there and we're so thankful for Jennifer and Ed for being on our wedding journey with us. We currently live in Illinois now, but we made sure to bring Silver Fork wine with us. We will have to restock next time we visit!

If you are looking for an incredible NC venue for your wedding, we give Silver Fork Winery all four of our thumbs way, WAY UP !! My husband and I were married here one month ago today :) yay! and it was truly the most magical, delightful, gorgeous wedding experience we could've imagined. The winery sits in the gorgeous, green, rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, which makes for seriously perfect vineyard photo ops!! More importantly, the winery owners Jennifer & Ed go out of their way to personally ensure that every detail is taken care of (they even sent a staffer into the bridal suite with a small vial of super glue a half-hour before my wedding when we had a slight dress emergency!!) Jennifer is a pro at planning and even though we planned our entire wedding from Oregon and didn't arrive in NC until one week before the event, she worked with us during the preceding months by email, phone and text to make sure all of our details were in order. We originally attempted to host our wedding as a backyard event at an Airbnb venue in town... once we realized how many moving parts we would have to juggle, we handed the event over to Jennifer at Silver Fork Winery and our wedding stress levels dropped about 99% ! (Also perfect since it poured rain during our July 8 late afternoon wedding -- no problem at Silver Fork, Jennifer moved all the flowers inside, added a set of very chic, rustic candle lanterns and we were able to keep to our 6pm schedule without missing a beat!) The wines are delicious and the package price for this venue is very affordable, esp considering that unlimited wine and beer are provided as well as all set up/break down, servers and staff for the event, planning assistance, dishes and linens, indoor dining w AC, and a selection of caterers to pick from. For a plug and play wedding venue, Silver Fork has a unique romantic charm that cannot be beat. All in all, we and our guests (many of whom were from out of town and had never been to the NC mountains or the winery) were blown away by this sweet little venue tucked into one of the most beautiful pockets of NC. There was even a full moon that night hanging over the misty mountains which made for unforgettable views and wedding photos. I would book Silver Fork Winery a year ahead in a heartbeat if I had another wedding to plan !! Thank you again, Jennifer and Ed ~ we hope to be back to visit soon !!
