They quickly picked up on our quirky personalities and rolled with it. We never felt uncomfortable (neither of us "enjoy" being photographed) and they weren't pushy at all, which is exactly what we needed. During the important moments (ceremony, first dances, etc,) many guests commented that they would not have even known they were there had they not gone back and watched the video, but they still managed to get AMAZING shots. Overall we had just a really wonderful experience from start to finish and we would highly recommend Silver Orchid to anyone and everyone!

d we had such a great time taking pictures around our venue. For some people, it can be difficult or weird to pose in front of a camera but Tara made everything so easy and natural. And, there was lots of laughter which made for some great candids! During the reception, they set up an iPad with preview pictures for us to see and then for our guests as well. It was so awesome having some of our pictures to look at while we were waiting for the full set. Once our pictures came back (we got them back on our 1 month anniversary, so SUPER fast!), we were just blown away by the photos. They really did capture every angle and special moment of our wedding and we are so blessed to have these amazing photos to look back on for years to come!

Also Andrea’s photos were amazing too! I can’t tell the difference between Tara and Andrea’s photos. So 100% I would recommend Silver Orchid for any special events photography, especially weddings.

My husband who does not like his picture taken had so much fun that day taking pictures. Our package included and engagement session (highly recommend) which was great because we got to know her more (and vice versa) and got comfortable being photographed. We had her for 10 hours on our wedding day and that was totally perfect. She's super organized and sends out a questionnaire before the wedding so she knows what specific photos you want, etc. I filled this out pretty extensively and there isn't a single photo that I wanted that I don't have. We're in love with all of them, so much so that we are having a hard time narrowing down which photos we want in our book (another thing included in our package that we can't wait for). All in all, Tara is awesome, comparable in price to others in the area (and in my opinion has better packages where you get more for our money than others I looked at), and so much fun to work with. Do your self a favor and hire her and her team - you will NOT regret it!

We absolutely loved the small touch of the iPad at our table during dinner and then at the bar for all our guests to enjoy.
