SilverSpoon Bakery made our wedding cake. Their consultation was telephonic due to the pandemic. We sent over multiple inspiration cake designs and SilverSpoon told us they could do them all with no problem. We went with the most complex fondant design, and SilverSpoon is so talented that they could replicate it in buttercream! Don’t get me started on the flavor and moistness of the cake. It was so delicious during the wedding that people were going back for thirds! We barely were able to save the anniversary layer of the cake since so many people wanted more cake. And their prices were very affordable! We highly recommend SilverSpoon Bakery if you need a wedding cake!
I had to reschedule my wedding in 2020 and cancel my wedding reception for 2021 due to COVID 19. Of course it was a difficult and expensive decision to make as we stand the chance of losing a lot of money. Needless to say it is a very difficult time. I wrote Lynne at Silverspoon Bakery to tell her we had to cancel. She wrote me back and was kind enough to offer us a partial refund of our deposit. I do understand it is a difficult time for couples losing lots of money as well as small businesses so i asked if instead i could use the money to buy a thank you basket of baked goods to have delivered to someone local to them. She said yes! I think it is a win for everyone. The bakery has been very kind, helpful, and fair. I was really looking forward to working with them for the reception and having the dessert bar but I'm thankful for such a great experience with them anyhow.
Our wedding cake was sssoooo good. We went with strawberry and everyone loved it. Our baker was so easygoing and helpful with the design right up to the day.
I submitted a request online and was never contacted back! How's that for service?
The look of my cake was nice but did not get rave reviews on taste. It was also supposed to be fondant for an outdoor summer wedding and they delivered a buttercream cake. Not to happy about that and they did not seem for sorry about it.
CC was excellent. She let us tell her what she wanted and she did exactly what we wanted. The cake was the absolute best wedding cake I have ever had. It was moist and yummy and just delicious!!!!!!!;Book her early. She gets very busy. Other than that nothing to warn about
