Silverthorn Meadows

Venue is absolutely stunning. We had the venue from Friday at 2pm thru Sun 12pm and appreciated the allotment of time that came wish the rental. Additionally, it also can with use of a glamping tent and a room in which bridesmaids could get ready as well as a separate area for the groomsmen to get ready. On Saturday, the day of the wedding, while we were decorating and getting ourselves ready, in the room that is provided for this, the owners decide to conduct 3 tours showing the venue to potential future clients. We found this be disrespectful and intrusive being that we had the venue rented to us during this time. It felt like an invasion of privacy and we were appalled they would do such a thing without even discussing it, notifying us or asking permission to do so. The owners should provide tours outside of times when Venue is rented much less on a couples actual wedding day! Additionally, guest parking is off site and they offer shuttle service for the guests to the venue. We had several guests that arrived a little early and we were told they would not bring the guests down and many ended up walking themselves down. Still do not understand why they delayed bringing guests down not to mention it was raining and guests would have shelter under the tent.

This venue was the one and only venue my husband and I looked at. We had a list of places we wanted to take a look at but as soon as we got to Silverthorn Meadows we fell in love. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the owners take such good care of the place. The owners are very hands on the day of the wedding to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. I think the best part of the whole deal is that you have access to the property for the weekend. We were able to drop off and preset up the day before, but also could clean up the day after. Honestly the clean up the day after really saves you. I was able to enjoy my entire day without having to worry about cleaning up everything and getting out by midnight. My guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful our wedding was and it has everything to do with the venue itself. You will not be disappointed with Silverthorn Meadows and all of its beauty.

The grounds are breathtaking with all the greenery, flowers, and pond. Alita and Denny (owners) are extremely helpful! Venue is perfect! it gives an intimate feel and needs very little decor to be stunning.

We loved getting married here in October! The venue is so beautiful with changing tree colors and a nice pond! Alita and Denny were very nice and let us visit quite a few times before the big day to plan things out. We were also lucky as they put in two bathrooms a few months before our wedding. The grassy area is very large and well maintained and they have lots of parking onsite. I only took off one star as they seemed a little disorganized, but it was the new owners first wedding season and we were the largest (150) group they had yet. We ended up having a chance of rain and they let us put up a tent which fit wonderfully and looked great! This is a wonderful choice and Alita and Denny were great hosts! Thanks!
