Our wedding at the Silverthorne Pavilion on July 24, 2025, was everything we hoped for and more. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with stunning mountain views and a welcoming atmosphere that made our day feel truly special.
The Pavilion was clean, well-maintained, and provided the perfect setting for both our ceremony and reception. The layout made it easy for our guests to enjoy every part of the celebration, and the surrounding scenery created an unforgettable backdrop for our photos.
The staff was professional, helpful, and accommodating throughout the planning process and on our wedding day.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so grateful to everyone at the Silverthorne Pavilion for helping make our wedding day so memorable. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful mountain wedding location

Silverthorne Pavilion was perfect for our wedding! They also have a closet full of decor that we were able to use for the day which allowed us to save on some expenses and generally helps with less waste (we used vases, wood circles, candle holders, easels, and more)! We had ~140 people at our wedding and the space was very comfortable with this amount of people. We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather so people really enjoyed sitting out on the patio during cocktail hour and into the evening with the fireplace. We primarily worked with Shyanne for coordinating the event and she was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. She helped pull together a full floor plan and was very accommodating in making changes as needed. It was a great location for getting out of town guests into the mountains but with a pretty straight shot up I70 and a ton of hotel/AirBnb options nearby. We loved having our wedding here and would definitely recommend!

The Silverthorne Pavilion is an affordable and stylish venue that provides a serene mountain setting, excellent customer service and spectacular views of the Gore Range. With hardwood floors throughout, hand-crafted chandeliers, exposed trusses and custom ironwork, the Pavilion is capable of accommodating ceremonies and receptions of all types and sizes.
The rustic and elegant venue boast 12,000 square feet, including a 1,600 square foot lobby facing the Blue River. Guests arrive at the Pavilion by crossing a historic bridge over the river and are greeted by the patio; complete with a large, stone fireplace. A riverside ceremony site surrounded by aspen and pine provides the perfect setting for your special day.
The Silverthorne Pavilion is owned and operated by the Town of Silverthorne, making site fees affordable and reasonable. Site fees include the use of the Pavilion and grounds, use and setup of all indoor tables and chairs, access to our centerpiece materials closet, basic use of indoor sound systems, bridal and groom suites and an on-site attendant to assist with venue operations during the event. Additional amenities like canopy lights, AV equipment and tech support can be added on.
Silverthorne is an ideal location for destination weddings. The Town sits on either side of the Blue River, famed for its Gold Medal waters that are perfect for fly fishing. The Pavilion is also within minutes of Summit County’s ski resorts and is down the road from the Raven at Three Peaks golf course. The Blue River Trail is adjacent to the venue, perfect for photo ops or a scenic bike ride for guests. The Outlets at Silverthorne offer guests an extraordinary shopping experience and are handy for any last minute needs. Lodging in the area includes hotels, condos, private homes and ranches. Silverthorne offers something for everyone!

The only thing I would recommend to future couples is to estimate your alcohol carefully since it has to be purchased through the venue and any unused alcohol cannot be taken home. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely choose this venue again.

e is breathtaking, and we enjoyed working with Jill to plan our floor plan and vision! All of our guests raved about the space, inside and out, and loved getting to explore the views that the city and space itself has to offer! This venue is soooo affordable, and literally allll staff we worked with were super helpful and communicative throughout the entire process! They do allow outside vendors, except for alcohol, but their packages are super flexible and we really enjoyed the service provided! Lodging literally across the street was super convenient for everyone too! Literally since before our wedding day, I’ve been recommending the space whenever I can, and I will definitely continue to do so!

ns and right next to the river, was perfect. It was easy working with the venue's coordinators, even being out of state. We felt the price was fair and affordable, considering its location and how much space you can utilize. Silverthorne itself is such a nice town. We were able to find gorgeous Airbnbs to stay in super close to the venue, and our guests didn't have troubles finding hotels. Our wedding on 09/19/25 went so smoothly, thanks to the venue's staff and our day-of-coordinator (not affiliated with the pavilion). It was the perfect weather day, and we got lucky being in the prime of changing fall colors. We highly recommend the Silverthorne Pavilion for any event, especially for weddings. You will find them easy to work with, responsive, and flexibile. I look back and have zero regrets to the timing and place of our special day. Our guests really enjoyed having space inside to wander, but also the space outside by the fireplace and the river to also explore. Other highlights of the venue I'd also include is 1) the bar, for the convenience of having one right there and for how visually appealing it was built in 2) the bridge located steps away from the venue that twinkles at night and offers a relaxing view of the river 3) the option to hold both your ceremony (indoors or outdoors) and reception here, which is what we opted to do 4) the lighting of the building, we loved all the twinkly lights and 5) how much there is in the town, it has a small mountain town feel, but it still has lots of restaurants/stores/hotels and things to do in nature. You will love it, I know we did!

across the street at the IHG (so no transportation was needed) and our welcome party was at the market next to the hotel. We ski in Summit County a ton so Silverthorne is special from us. The venue was beautiful, our pictures are stunning, everyone at the pavilion was wonderful to work with. I feel super lucky we found it!

question clearly and quickly. I appreciate how they provided a clear contract, gave us a helpful brochure with wedding vendor options, emailed us the decorations closet inventory, floor plans, and pictures of how the space would be set up, and revised the floor plans when our guest count was updated. The building doesn't require much decoration, and the surrounding nature provides convenient photo backdrops.
We seated guests at tables in the main hall area for both the ceremony and reception, and we held a refreshment hour in the lobby in between, which made the transition from the ceremony to the reception smooth. The guests loved the Chipotle catering, brought from the location right near the pavilion. Since we were able to rent the building for a long time, it allowed us to set up, host the wedding, and clean up without feeling rushed.
I would recommend the Silverthorne Pavilion to anyone hosting an event! Pictures by Rhema Faith Photography.

zing, the price is very affordable, and our guests LOVED having it all in ONE place with LOTS of local hotels & airbnbs in walking distance. There aren't a lot of suggestions I have for improvement for this venue as its all included and went off well. I am a VERY high maintenance bride & former industry expert.
I do recommend a day-of planner because a lot of moving parts at a place like this are popping off at the same time. We had one and I would have died had we not most likely lol. We highly rec this gorgeous place right off the highway. It gives a mountain feel with all the amenities of the big city.
Plan extra photograph time as we could have gone an extra HOUR easily with all the gorgeous spots around but ran out of time.

e are Mountain View’s, but they there’s not a clear shot of them. They allow outside catering, only exclusive vendor is for alcohol.
Having Hotel Indigo and Bluebird Market, right across the street made it so easy for all of our out of town guests.
Shyanne was very helpful with planning, especially since I was a DIY bride and she helped a lot with finalizing the floor plan for the reception. Pricing for their beverage packages was clear, and they allowed us to use decor for centerpieces from their inventory. Plenty of bathrooms. There can be a getting ready suite, but we ended up using the Hotel Indigo.
The location is great, we were able to do an off site first look at Sapphire Point and the next day we rented pontoons at Lake Dillon.
Such an easy venue to get to in Silverthorne, especially if having a lot of out of state guests!

The Pavillion was perfect choice for our wedding. It ticked all of our boxes and allowed for us to DIY the majority of our needs without adding too much stress on other things like...
the venue facilities, bar and tables chairs. They have a ton of items that can be used in their inventory for your wedding and lots of a la carte options to customize your experience.
You can't beat the location either, views, lodging, food, play - everything is within walking distance from the Venue and the Pavillion is in Silverthorne.. doesn't get better!
You can pay 5x for a venue that does it all for you - or you can do it yourself like we did at an amazing venue with a superb staff.
Thank you for all of your help and being understanding of our plan. Shayanne and team were amazing to work with and make our day unforgettable. For us - this was the perfect venue.

anne were rockstars. The planning process with them was smooth, stress-free and straightforward. They made us feel at ease and comfortable, and their experience was invaluable both in figuring out all the details we needed to take care of and in accommodating last-minute requests. We loved that they took care of the entire bar service for us, from ordering in our preferred wines and beers to providing all glassware and providing an excellent bartender for our evening. They also have a full walk-in closet with wedding decor you can borrow for your event, from signs to vases to florals, and we definitely loved that! And the Pavillion itself is incredible. We had about 70 guests, but the room could easily fit two or three times that amount. We got so many compliments on the beautiful space and all the little touches that Amy & Shyanne helped us achieve! Thank you for a wonderful wedding experience :)

d her team were extremely easy to work with. They were very responsive and flexible throughout the planning process and extremely helpful with vendors and any decision changes we made. They give you 3 free planning sessions at the Pavilion and even have a centerpiece closet to use for free if you feel so inclined. The location was perfect for our out of town guests. There are plenty of hotels and airbnb's in the area, so much so that we did not even need to set up transportation. The guests raved about the bar tenders and their service and how awesome the venue was. It was perfect for an outdoor ceremony by the river, and cocktail hour on the patio with the fireplace, and indoor reception with tons of dancing, drinks, and good food. If you want a budget friendly, choose your own vendors, mountain wedding with accessibility- this is your place. We were so happy to have found the Silverthorne Pavilion and had the best day getting married up in the mountains!

ed! We had a destination wedding so planning from so far away wasn’t easy but Amy helped out with the process tremendously!! She had fantastic communication through emails and video calls! She always answered any questions we had right away! She was able to fit us in for a viewing of the Pavilion when we were visiting Colorado in 2022! I never felt uneasy with our choice, especially being so far away! The Pavilion was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was great!!! Our day was absolutely perfect! I couldn’t recommend this venue more! It was a dream come true!

When we looked at other venues this one stood out far above the rest. They are super organized and really know what you need to do for a wedding. asin Ski / Snowboard Wedding, which meant that after hiring photographers, DJ's, catering, and all the rest, there was not a ton left over for decorations and extra frills for the reception venue...The Pavilion took all the worry out of that as it is gorgeous on its own, plus they had many affordable add-on items, plus complimentary table decorations to pull everything together. Drink service was also extremely affordable and convenient, and all of our guests had nothing but compliments for the bartenders and drinks included in our package. All managers and staff we worked with were incredibly accommodating, and they worked in perfect sync with our planner and other vendors - Laura Pearson (planner), Black Diamond Catering, and Hampton Entertainment (DJ) who were all more than excellent in their own right. This was a destination wedding booked and planned from the east coast, making the pre-planning and execution all the more difficult..and yet everything worked out perfectly. Many of our guests commented that this was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever attended...choosing the Silverthorne Pavilion as our reception venue definitely had a big part in that. Thanks again to Amy Lydon, the town of Silverthorne, and all staff at the Pavilion for making our day exceptional. Put this venue at the top of your list - you will not be disappointed!

We got married on 11/11/22 at the outside ceremony site and we got so many compliments on the location from our guests. You get to stand next to a beautiful river and mountain views!
Planning a wedding can be stressful but the venue coordinators Amy and Shyanne were so helpful, kind and prompt with their response whenever I had a question, helping ease any stress. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or an event.

From the moment we first checked out the Pavilion to the moment we wa...
lked away as a married couple, the staff at the pavilion was great. We mainly worked with Shyanne who was able to handle all of our questions and was a pleasure to work with (even when we had to quickly change something we'd just decided!).
The outdoor venue area was the perfect location for the ceremony with the river backdropping it. It also made an excellent location for the photos after, both by the river and atop the bridge.
Moving inside for the reception, we found the atmosphere absolutely perfect for what we wanted! We would highly recommend the string of lights across the upstairs as it made the night truly magical. The inner area was able to comfortably fit all of our guests along with a photo booth, leaving plenty of room for people to get down on the dance floor!
Just outside the reception and bar, there is the perfect outdoor sitting area with a beautiful fireplace. We setup Cornhole and Giant Jenga so guests were able to relax and cool off from the party outside. This meant our guests were having a blast both inside and out!
As an added bonus, the one possible downside of the night was my bride losing a necklace that was very personal to her. The staff made sure to look for it in the days following and found it! The fact that they put in the effort to find her necklace even after our event means they will always go the extra mile.
Overall, this was the perfect venue for us, and it allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. We will never forget the incredible experience we had there and we can't recommend it enough!

a ton of decor! We rented linens, worked with a florist for centerpieces, and added our own fun touches, but we really didn't HAVE to revamp the place. We loved the option of having twinkle lights hanging from the ceiling and having the ceiling windows open to see the night sky. Of course, the ceremony site on the river also attracted us! The entire venue is walkable for guests, the wedding party, and vendors. Amy was also very easy to work with; she was communicative, timely, and asked the right questions to make sure every detail of the day matched our vision. In general, the flexibility, ease, and beauty of the location was perfect for us. We'd highly recommend for the Silverthorne Pavilion as a wedding venue!

The venue itself is way more affordable than anything else in the mountains and is super convenient (like a mile off I-70). They also handled all the alcohol which was one less thing to have to worry about.
It’s also looks pretty nice so we didn’t have to buy many decorations, and we saved some money because they let us bring in non-alcoholic beverages

understand, and was always flexible with us every time we came to visit the venue, including the day of!
This space is so beautiful, it's like an updated alpine lodge and can accommodate plenty of guests with a huge dining hall with balconies wrapping around for your guests to enjoy the party from above.
Outside, there is an awesome path along the Blue River (need something blue?) and a riverside ceremony site where we had all of the fall colors on display with golden aspens all around us. There's even a fireplace right by the door where guests can warm up with a cocktail made by the bar.
And, the bridge... it's just so photogenic and sweet and allows the guests to have a really wonderful entrance to the wedding!
You cant go wrong with this venue. It's budget friendly, gorgeous, and there are plenty of resources nearby for last minute needs, plus its in a really stunning spot in CO. 7 minute drive to Lake Dillon for sunset photos of the bride & groom? YES please.

She was quick at getting back to us and recommended a bunch of vendors who were familiar with the venue and made it easy for us on the day of our wedding. Although we had to use their bar, the pricing was fair and we hear nothing but good things about the bartenders. It is an elegant, rustic mountain venue that’s perfect for any bride that wants a gorgeous mountain wedding!

This venue was exactly what we were looking for! Close to home for us (Breckenridge), holds at least 200 people, next to the river, and a stage. The ceremony spot next to Blue Rive...
r was the absolute reason for us when choosing this venue. It's one of the prettiest spots on the river.
The Pavilion offers a lot of additional items that are helpful for a seamless wedding day, such as portable PA system for the outdoor ceremony, free decor closet to choose vases and leftover items from, and high top tables. Their bar is outside of the reception hall, which we liked for our cocktail hour.
The only few things that were a pain but not deal breakers for us included the lighting on the stage (only one light setting really! No colored spot lights, kind of felt like you were in a classroom with florescent lighting on stage) and no ceremony chairs for the outdoor space (had to rent separately).
To end on a high note, Amy, Shyanne, and the entire Pavilion staff were incredible. They were always responsive, changed plans for us on a dime, and were super easy going to talk to. If you're looking to have your wedding in Summit County, there's really no other option than the Pavilion in Silverthorne!

tain top ceremony, the team at the Silverthorne Pavilion (and our wonderful vendors) jumped into action to put together a beautiful and intimate ceremony site right in the middle of the cocktail area. With a year's worth of planning out the window, the Silverthorne Pavilion managed to create such a special setting on such short notice, helping to make our ceremony even more unforgettable.
Aside from the excitement of the day, all other planning with the Silverthorne Pavilion was seamless. Amy and Shyanne (when Amy was unavailable) were extremely helpful in the months leading up to our wedding. No matter how many questions we had or how many times we changed our minds on any details, they were there to help us navigate through it all.
To top it all off, the space at the Pavilion is gorgeous! Our florist had such a beautiful space to work with and really only required minimal touches. The location on the river and the bridge leading to the entrance made for some ideal photo ops as well. We were so pleased with our choice of the Silverthorne Pavilion, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing (and affordable!) venue option.

e river which was so pretty—the fall colors and view of mountains adding to the beauty. The bridge over the Blue River to the venue is a terrific photo op and was a serene place to escape for a little peace and quiet. The layout worked out great with a large patio and fireplace, party lights, hanging baskets. The inside is alpine, much of it covered in beautiful natural wood, unique chandeliers and lighting, and it is perfect for a mountain wedding theme There was a big dance area, a great flow between spaces, and a well-stocked and friendly bar service. Amy was our main coordinator and Shyanne helped whenever Amy was off. They were always patient and friendly with all of the many questions we had. We had to postpone the wedding for a year due to COVID and they honored our original contract and even held a new date while we decided if we needed to cancel in 2020. The vendor list on their site was very helpful and the closet of donated items for decorations came in handy. We have nothing but positive feelings about having the wedding at such an awesome location. Everyone had a great time!!

corations which saved tons of money. We got married on a monday which made it 10x more affordable but this venue was CHEAP compared to others without losing accommodations. They allow you to bring in your own vendors which is a plus. We were able to do our ceremony upstairs & fit around 70 people which was great. Loved it!
