The photos Simi took for our wedding are unbelievably gorgeous -- and working with him was fun, easy, and affordable. We first met him on our engagement shoot, which was included as a part of his wedding package. We're not always the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Simi made us both feel comfortable throughout. He spent a lot of time with us and the photos he took during that shoot were the best photos of us we'd ever seen... until we got the photos back from the wedding, that is. He was the only photographer for our wedding (no team), so we were honestly shocked by the number of different angles and moments he was able to capture. We were delighted to see so many beautiful moments we didn't get to experience firsthand as the couple -- seeing friends and family connecting, hugging, laughing and tearing up the dance floor. Multiple family members also said they were surprised by all the photos, because they barely noticed him taking them. We had an extremely tight timeframe for friends and family portraits, as well as our own portraits -- but Simi made it work and somehow everyone came out looking great. And the photos that Simi took of the two of us are the best photos of us that we've ever seen. Some of them are really art. We got our wedding photos back right as we were spending time with our families over Thanksgiving, so we spent the weekend reliving our wedding day with our parents. Looking the photos, it feels like he captured not only our wedding, but us too. As you can tell, we can't recommend him enough!

Simi was an absolute joy to work with! He was professional, approachable, and captured stunning, natural photos that perfectly reflected our special day. His unobtrusive style allowed the evening to flow seamlessly—he was like an invisible presence, never interrupting the ceremony or intruding on our guests. Simi's warm personality and keen eye for detail made the entire process stress-free, and the final photos exceeded our expectations. Exceptional photographer - Simi was the perfect choice for us. He took amazing photographs for both our engagement shoot & wedding. Amazing. Easy to work with, professional, relaxed, and captured tons of amazing photos. Simi was incredible. I think the quality of Simi's photos and joy you can see captured in them absolutely speaks on its own in his portfolio, and working with him was amazing. He was able to capture many very natural moments, and he was so personable and easy to talk with before the wedding. And when he says 'unobtrusive' at the wedding and reception, he means he is like a ninja-- I'm in some of these photos (and they look amazing) and even I'm asking myself, when did he take this photo?! I didn't even see him??? Additionally, the online galleries Simi sent to us after the wedding were very nicely categorized, and easy to share.  I am still absolutely speechless at all of the photos and can't stop smiling when I look at them and remember all of the happy moments of the day. I feel very lucky and grateful he was available for our wedding day. His pricing was incredibly competitive as well, and he was very flexible when we asked for changes (re: additional time at wedding). Everyone we have showed photos to has complimented our choice of photographer, saying Simi did an amazing job, and that everyone looks so genuinely happy. I cannot say enough nice things about Simi and his work, especially since his photos are something we will be able to cherish and share long after the wedding.

We cannot say enough good things about Simi and his photos! We actually hired him to do our engagement and wedding photos, and I am so in love with all the photos. We can’t say enough about Simi! It was such a pleasure to work with him for our wedding celebrations. We loved his candid style of photography from the start and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos came out! Simi worked with us through rescheduling and postponements due to Covid and was extremely flexible throughout the process. He seamlessly blends into your event. POST (EVENT): even after we had come down from the clouds, there were additional pleasant happenings. Answered questions, a sleek set of galleries that could be shared with guests, and proactive communications were some of Simi's hallmarks.

Simi is the best! He is an incredibly gifted photographer, and we are so pleased with how the photos from our wedding came out. Simi was a fantastic wedding photographer!! He was our photographer for our engagement photos, small wedding ceremony, and larger wedding reception. Due to the pandemic, we had to spread our events out across 2 years. Simi was so accommodating and understanding, working with us every step of the way throughout the rescheduling process. Simi was absolutely fantastic. We chose him for his candida and how he seemed to capture real moments. He totally delivered on this, and some of our favorite photos are the little moments between people before the ceremony or during the reception that effortlessly capture the joy and fun of the day. What can we say about Simi?! As a covid couple we had to postpone our wedding twice, then find a new venue and plan for covid restrictions, then replan in less than 4 weeks for the lifting of restrictions; and Simi has been with us since the beginning! We have two different philosophies about pictures, Arielle loves portraits, while Jonathan loves candids. This was one of the first things we talked about with Simi, and the beauty is that he does both so well!!! He is an excellent photographer, who is so chill and so easy to talk to! He worked with us through the two different venues, and rethinking the timeframe of pictures. At one point, we thought we would have a shorter wedding, and despite our initial contract, Simi was more than willing to modify the contract to a shorter time and adjust the fee accordingly. In the end, we stuck with the 8 hours. And we could not be happier! Simi is an incredible photographer who is so fun to work with!

Simi was an absolute pleasure to work with and he captured our big day beautifully! From the moment we first connected on Zoom for a pre-event meeting, Simi was kind, personable, funny, and flexible to all of our ideas and interests. On the day of the event, Simi did a fantastic job covering our wedding. He let us take leadership during the event's initial portrait time, and left us with stunning photos of us, family, and friends. During the event's ceremonies and celebrations, Simi magnificently captured both the big must-have moments (ring exchanges, speeches, dancing), as well as the small very-detailed moments (hand-holding, dress embroideries, nature textures). Simi has also made the process of designing an album very simple and straightforward. We are so thankful to have worked with Simi and would recommend him time and again!

Simi is the best!!! From the day one that I found him on the knot , to realized he is an award winner, to our first zoom interview, to our engagement session, to the wedding day, we just love him. My wife and I got married in October. Simi was amazing! he was so helpful leading up to the event. The engagement photo session was a great "practice" run and made it so our first experience with him wasn't on our wedding day. Simi did a great job incorporating our dog into our photos! My husband and I got married in September 2019 and were so happy with Simi. When choosing a photographer, we wanted someone who could do everything - take great portraits and have an eye for candid photos and action shots. Simi stood out to us immediately. He so accommodating and captured every photo on our list. He moves like a ninja and was EVERYWHERE during the reception capturing hilarious moments on the dance floor. Simi was so easy to work with and made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the engagement shoot and the day of our wedding. He listened to our ideas for shots and group photos, but also invested in exploring the venue to find the hidden best photo spots. Simi did an amazing job capturing our wedding . From weather that changed every 5 minutes to "opinionated" family members, he was able to handle it all. We received our photos very quickly and were blown away by how accurately the photos depicted our day. My husband hates having his picture taken and Simi made us both feel very comfortable every step of the way. I love that in addition to the "big stuff" he captured little moments that we didn't get to see when we were in the heat of the moment, like small details of the decor and interactions between people we never thought would enjoy dancing together. Simi captured such amazing photos both in our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! Looking back at the photos, he did an amazing job capturing our personalities and the personalities of our guests. Simi was a fantastic addition to our day and a joy to work with! When I was looking for photographers it was between Simi and one other person in the Boston area. Since I don't live in MA, Simi agreed to meet with the parents to go over his process and show them some examples of his work. They were more than impressed! Coming from a big southern family, my parents really wanted portrait photos. Although some photographers want to stay away from stand and look at me, Simi made what is normally very boring, into playful and memorable. During the reception, he went table to table with the groom and me to make sure all of our guests were in at least one photo, weird request but he didn't mind! Although he was supposed to leave following the bouquet toss, he stayed a little longer and asked if I wanted any more photos before he left, a true sign of his character :) The groom and I have not seen any wedding photos but if they are anything like our engagement photos, I am going to be blown away. Simi is the type of photographer that can adapt to any situation and make people who hate photos of themselves pleasantly surprised at how good they look! Besides being a great person, his price is the best in town. I was able to have an engagement shoot with Simi prior to the wedding and now that the wedding is complete, he is working on a photo album so that I have something to look at any day I want. Simi was amazing. We met with a few photographers before the wedding and Simi was clearly the best. From the engagement photos to the post wedding follow-up, everything was done in a professional manner. Our wedding photos were amazing! We both wanted lots of candid photos and Simi didn't disappoint. I called him the "Photography Ninja" since, and this is all credit to Simi, I didn't remember seeing him taking photographs! I cannot recommend him enough.

My (now) husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Simi. We knew from the first time we checked out his website that we loved his photography style, especially the way he captures candid moments and reactions. Always professional and quick to reply to our emails, he helped us figure out the best times to shoot on our wedding day, was able to add additional shooting to our package so that he could cover our rehearsal dinner (something the groom's mother wanted), and carried a printed out "must-have" shot list that we had put together ahead of time on the day of the wedding. He was flexible when we veered a bit from the list of family portraits, and most impressive, Simi was incredibly flexible when it came to the weather we faced. During our engagement session, we took pictures outside in below-freezing temperatures, yet Simi never once complained and even recommended additional spots to take pictures that day, despite how cold he must have been. On the day of our wedding, we had to move the ceremony and all pictures inside because of pouring rain and winds up to 50mph, yet somehow Simi's photographs are beautiful and the lighting in them is perfect. He even ran out into the rain at one point so that we could get some pictures on the front porch, getting soaked in the process but completely willing to do what it took to get a good shot. When we got our photos, we were amazed by all of the little details Simi noticed and captured - I had barely even noticed him during the ceremony and reception and yet he managed to capture everything! Others have said it and I agree - he is unobtrusive but still manages to capture every detail. On top of all of this, Simi is also just a really nice guy, bonding with our family who have young kids and easy to talk to personally and professionally. We couldn't love our photos any more, and I can't recommend Simi enough!

Simi was awesome to work with! From the beginning we could tell how organized he was as he laid out how everything would work from beginning to end. It was nice to walk away from our first in-person meeting feeling comfortable that we picked the right photographer and turning our focus to all of the other stuff we had to worry about. Our engagement shoot was great and we got to chat we Simi and learn a little more about his style. We already knew he had a great eye from checking out his website / following him on Facebook and getting our photos back just reinforced that. My wife does not enjoy having her picture taken (even though they usually come out pretty good!) and as we did our engagement shoot I kept joking “don’t worry Simi is going to take 500 pictures, so you’re gonna like at least 20 of them”. Even she had to admit almost all of them came out great and Simi incorporated some pretty cool natural features from the arboretum we were at. On our wedding day, Simi was at the venue early scoping everything out. He had been to our venue previously, but we had a mid-April wedding so it was a bit of a toss-up as to whether there would actually be anything blooming/growing that we may want to have as a backdrop. We had some ideas on what we wanted to get for pictures, but Simi was great with helping us formalize it by walking us through his shot list and so we could pick thing we wanted or didn’t want. It was super helpful to have him provide us a framework that we could tweak as we wanted…especially because as we walked through his list we thought “oh yeah, we want a picture of that too”. Throughout our wedding day Simi was unbelievably efficient. He had it all mapped out and executed on everything, with some checking and adjusting of course (e.g., when the guys corsages took a little longer than expected to get pinned on for various reasons). We were especially appreciative of Simi’s efficiency with our photos during cocktail hour as my wife and I wanted to catch the tail end of it, which we did!! All of our guests (and my wife and I) were impressed with how Simi was always in the right place at the right time…checking time, checking lighting and always seeming to know what shot he wanted next, but at the same time not being locked into a certain sequence. He caught some great candids and family shots (cousins, extended family), but was focused on my wife and myself. It was amazing how he was able to do it all while making it seem effortless (it only “seemed” effortless because all the time and effort Simi puts into his craft). Not sure how to word it, but although Simi was always in the right place at the right time, he was never in the way. I have been to weddings where that was not the case…or where the photographer seemed to be stressing people out by trying too hard to get pictures or by missing key pictures / moments. It was a pleasure to work with Simi and we are still amazed at all the great pictures and moments Simi captured for us!!!!

Simi was phenomenal to work with on our wedding day. His eye for pictures and attention to detail were astounding. Numerous wedding guests commented on how quickly, quietly and efficiently he worked the wedding. We heard several people mention how impressed they were that he was constantly monitoring the lightening, assessing the weather outside and always on the look out for the perfect shot. He was very professional and organized. It was a breeze to work with Simi. He was quick to respond and easily approachable. He is very organized in his approach and presented us with a comprehensive wedding package. We started with an engagement photography session which gave us the opportunity to get to know Simi, and Simi the opportunity to get to know us. He showed up to the location early and had already scouted out some great areas to take some pictures. As some of my friends or husband might attest, I am not a big fan of having my picture taken but he made this engagement session fun and relaxing and the pictures were stunning! In the weeks leading up to the wedding he presented us with a photography shot list. We found this incredibly helpful as we had not yet thought too much about the “must have” photos that we wanted. He used this list as a guide on our wedding day to take pictures of the special moments we requested. His focus was always on the wants or needs of the bride and the groom. He was quick to finalize our wedding photos and we were thoroughly impressed with his work. It was such a special moment looking through our wedding photos together, Simi really took the time to capture the event in its entirety. If you are looking for a skilled wedding photographer with a keen eye, I would highly recommend Simi.

Simi was an absolute joy to work with, from the initial meeting through the engagement shoot to the final exhausted moments of our wedding day. His eye for detailed, interesting and unexpected shots is incomparable and we could not be happier with our photos- we'd book him again for any future photography needs without a moment's hesitation. A consummate professional throughout the entire process, he handled every change- whether major, minor, or last minute- with grace and understanding. Neither of us being particularly comfortable in front of the camera, we loved Simi's photojournalistic approach, which was completely unobtrusive and allowed him to capture everything organically. Thanks to him, we will be able to treasure every moment of that day for the rest of our lives, including the small ones easily missed by a more cookie-cutter approach to wedding photography. Where do I even begin! I believe Simi's website was the first I looked at while searching for photographers. His pictures instantly caught my eye, and I knew I had to reach out to him. From the second he responded he was so nice, and answered all the questions Ian and I had. Ian and I live 3 hours away from where we got married at White Cliffs, and Simi accommodated every need we had being that far away, he always answered his emails on time, and was able to send us things we needed via email as well. On our wedding day Simi was absolutely amazing, he caught every single moment of our wedding in all of his photos. Every picture that was taking was absolutely perfect, and we could not be happier. Simi was so easy to work with, and so accommodating throughout the whole day (even if we made him walk roughly 300 stairs to get down to the beach). Thank you so much for taking our wedding day photos, and for capturing some of our best moments.

Simi was absolutely amazing in every way and we wholeheartedly recommend him! Simi is a wonderful wedding photographer we whole-heartedly recommend! Simi took both our engagement and wedding photos, and did a fantastic job across a variety of settings - an afternoon outdoors in the park, inside a brick museum filled with exhibits, and in low-lighting as we danced during the reception. His photo-journalistic style means you and your guests won't receive a ton of instructions about how to pose or where to stand - Simi will unobtrusively blend into your big day and capture the magic as it happens. This is particularly great for people who aren't super-comfortable taking posed photos (like my husband!). But, he still made sure to capture all of the details and group shots that we requested ahead of time. Simi was always prompt in communicating, and returned our edited wedding photos is under one month. His pricing was easy to understand, and very competitive with others photographers in the Boston area. And we loved having the digital rights to the photos, so that we could share everything with our family and friends. Overall, Simi was a pleasure to work with, and we are very happy that we hired him to photograph our wedding!

Simi was on top of everything: He was prompt, thoughtful and willing to go above and beyond. He suggested shots that worked out great and was flexible in how we wanted the day to go. We had a vision that he photographed our family out of a window after the ceremony and Simi jumped all in. He went above and beyond to make our day great. The photos came out wonderfully.

We feel so lucky to have had Simi for our wedding photographer. He really put us at ease even during the first meeting. Since he does the engagement photos as part of the package, you get an extra opportunity to work with him before the big day. On the day of the wedding he was so professional while at the same time being really low-key and not adding to the stress of getting ready beforehand or anything. During the ceremony and reception he was amazing - every time I would think, "Wow, I wish we had a picture of this," there Simi would be, unobtrusively taking one. He was like a ninja, making his way around the chapel and the ballroom into every situation we needed him, without being in the way at all. And the pictures he produced are really amazing and really capture all the emotions and highlights of the day. He's extremely talented and you would be lucky to have him work with you for your wedding!
