Peggy was also able to refer us to another bakery that had gluten and dairy free options for our guests!

One of our guests who is with the Food Network commented specifically on how amazing our cake was. On top of the taste, it was BEAUTIFUL! We had alternating gold foil and white swiss dot tiers, and our florist was able to add fresh flowers to the top and bottom. We'll add a photo to this review when we have our professional photos back. The love that Peggy has for her cakes and her wedding couples is unmatched. Thank you Peggy and Simma's!

rd cake. We went with a 3-tiered white traditional presentation cake along with two 1/2 sheet cakes. Simma's offers a lot of cake flavors, fillings and frostings, so they are great for customization. I'm rating them a 4/5 because we weren't able to represent our dog figurine in the cake the way that we wanted to - they would not place a dog figurine purchased off of Etsy in the cake, but would make one out of fondant themselves and place it, which was ultimately not the look we were going for. But overall, for the great taste and look of the cake, I would choose Simma's again!

The cake itself looked beautiful and was delicious. So many guests commented on how great the cake was and hardly any was left by the end of the evening. I understand that they're incredibly busy, but I would have appreciated at least a simple response of "we got your message, we'll reach out as soon as we can" instead of getting 3 weeks of silence.

We asked for a simple frosted cake decorated with fresh flowers, and Simma’s was happy to coordinate with our florist on the decorations. Overall, our cakes were executed wonderfully, and we cannot wait to pull our final slices out for our anniversary next August. We would definitely recommend working with Simma’s for anyone’s upcoming weddings.

I called them back, they wanted a sample of the cake I brought them 1 1/2 of the cake they said they would get with their team and call back, that didn't happen, 24 hours later I call them back and spoke with Peggy an was told they tasted a cake that was 6 days old and nothing was wrong with the cake and sometimes people try returning the cake after the couples do not eat it all at the wedding. For the record I love love love cakes cupcakes, little Debbie cakes you name it an would/could eat most of the cake alone l also have 7 year old twins that loves cake an they would probably eat the rest lol but they also didn't like it.. My twins came with me to return the cake and she screams out " that cake was nasty" After speaking with Peggy, I felt like they didn't believe me an calling me a liar. I'm a christians women that believes in GOD and my spirit does not operate that way..They kept the cake and told me they could give me a 8"cake. NO! I will NEVER patronize your bakery again! Please be careful of the fake smiles and lovely attitudes! (I really thought they cared about making this cake an me having the best experience ever. Boy, was I wrong!

The night of the rehearsal, I had decided to bite the bullet and take my 1-year old daughter home so my wife could enjoy the rehearsal dinner without worrying about her. When I got home, I let the dog out of her cage and walked upstairs for bedtime stories. Finally getting my daughter to sleep, I went down to make dinner, watch some tv, etc… After about 30 minutes, I noticed my dog was acting a little guilty about something. I thought maybe she had an accident or something so I did a quick spin around and didn’t notice anything. Then I looked at the table… Where there was a ravaged wedding cake top and cake crumbles everywhere. I felt like the camera of life zoomed in on my realization of what happened… Terrified and furious, I put/threw my dog into her cage, and did what any 35 year-old American male would do, alone, in a cake related emergency… “Call Mom!”… It took a few minutes to get my mother to stop laughing at my cliché wedding-movie problem… Wiping the tears from her eyes she told me she would call back in a few minutes. Within 15 minutes, I was texting the on-call Simmas bakery owner who was available using the “Wedding Cake Emergency Hotline” (yeah… I didn’t know that was a thing either). I gave him the specs of the cake-top using my tape measure and some pictures and he said they will get on it in the morning. First thing the next day, the baker let me know the cake was ready. It was perfect. Texture, buttercream frosting, size, everything. As a note, Simmas did not make the original cake, their team is just extremely talented and worked ridiculously fast for some random guy whose 40-pound golden doodle got courageous. When I asked how much it was… The owner WAIVED THE FEE ENTIRELY!!! And said, just take a picture of the reaction (which I wasn’t present for sadly). Just to clarify, my family has been going to Simmas for years because their cakes are amazing. The owner didn’t know who I was, but still saved a crucial part of a wedding. I always knew this bakery made amazing pastries and cakes, but now I know it’s run by a generous and wonderful team. I come from a very big family, and Simmas will be my, and more importantly my mom’s, grandma to 19 hungry children, go to bakery whenever the occasion calls. Thank you, Mark, Meredith, and the entire Simmas Family for saving the day!!! PS: the dog is fine, and my wife’s aunt laughed about it (on the outside), so I think I’m in the clear… for now

licious! The raspberry filling with the mix of vanilla and chocolate layers was yummy... plus, the buttercream frosting is rich but oh so tasty! I was able to send a couple pictures of design ideas, and the final product turned out perfect. Looking forward to going back for our anniversary cake next year. :)

It was pretty hard to narrow it down to one flavor, but we eventually agreed on a delicious combination! We did a two-tier cake with fresh strawberries inside and blue painted decor to match our wedding colors. The cake arrived on time and in perfect condition. Everyone said it was delicious! We decided to save the top part and freeze it so we can enjoy it on our year anniversary. I can’t wait to eat more of it! Simma’s has a huge variety of flavors and options. You will not be disappointed in whatever you order from them! Best desserts around!

ICOUS! I wish we would've taken all the extras. We did not have any issue with delivery or set-up. My florist added a few flowers as well. If I would do it over again, I would still use this bakery 100%.

It was moist with layers of amazing filling. I don't often find wedding cakes to be very tasty and often it is an afterthought. This cake was the main event!!! have a traditional tiered wedding cake. It was the best wedding planning decision we made. Our cake from Simma's (chocolate with raspberry Chambord mousse and fresh raspberries, simple white buttercream frosting) was hands down the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. Unbelievably delicious. I don't know how I'm going to wait a whole year to have our anniversary cake! On top of that, everyone there was very friendly and helpful, including when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. I also found their prices to be very reasonable (though of course wedding cakes don't come cheap), particularly compared to other highly rated cake bakers in the area. 100% recommend.
