Simon Anthony Photography

research. I somehow by pure luck stumbled on Simon and initially just had such a good gut feeling about him. We scheduled an initial zoom call and I was proven right by how quickly and easily we connected with him and how it felt like we had known him for so much longer than just this one zoom call! Although he was initially a little over our budget, we knew we had to book him and went for it! His patience with my questions and thoughts were so appreciated during the wedding planning process and he made us feel so at ease during our last planning call right before the wedding day! Come our big day, Simon fit so well with our group and felt like he was apart of our family/friends group so quickly. Everyone had so many good things to say about him and we quickly felt comfortable and natural in front of the camera with him. Our wedding day photos were beyond our expectations and perfect. He even delivered ALL our final photos much quicker than anticipated which was such a surprise and meant a lot to us!!! If you are considering hiring Simon, I cannot recommend him enough. He was definitely one of our best decisions made!!! Thank you so much for everything!!

he photography aspect that we loved about his work - he was so kind during all the in between moments of our wedding weekend. Simon’s energy was incredibly kind and patient. Simon even had emergency safety pins on hand for us to use! We cannot recommend Simon highly enough - an absolutely talented photographer and wonderful person to have around on your wedding weekend.

. Not only is he super professional and organized in all of his communication and planning leading up to the big day, but he’s also just a dang cool guy. We had so much fun at both our engagement session and of course at the wedding. He sets the perfect vibe every time by bringing the best energy. He makes you feel calm and relaxed, but also hyped up and energized at the same time. You can tell he is so passionate about what he does and goes above and beyond. Like he even laid down in the dirt to get a cool shot of us with the trees above us. Seriously he is THE BEST. And all of the photos are absolutely gorgeous! The photos perfectly captured our personalities and our relationship. Looking through the photos I can just still feel the energy of the day and how much fun it was. He captured so many special moments, memories to last a lifetime. 12/10 stars! Highly recommend working with Simon, easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

lped create a plan for the day and was flexible to allow for ad hoc memories. He worked well with everyone including children. From the moment Simon arrived until the end of the night, he was focused on creating a wonderful story. He smiled and laughed and helped us enjoy every moment. What a blessing to have connected with just the right photographer.

the whole session. He made my husband and I super comfortable in front of the camera and captured the best photos of our wedding. If I could, I would rate Simon 10 stars. I would 1000000% use him for any future occasion.

azing to work with. Don’t hesitate to book!

through Instagram because my then fiancé and I wanted to do our engagement photoshoot in Asheville. Fortunately, he travels! He arrived bright and early all the way to Durham, NC, and had the lovely Chris assisting him that day. Simon has an incredible fun personality that is down to earth and puts you at ease on a generally anxiety provoking day. He is so professional and efficient (he was so organized for our family portraits). Finally, you just know from his work and how he’s shooting during the event that you’re in good hands. I felt so comforted knowing that all the shots and more (he’s got the most creative eye and ideas!!) that I wanted were being captured. My now hubby and I could just be in the moment. Just two days after our wedding he shared a sneak peek of our photos (77 pictures!!) and I fell in love with every single one.

bridal party photos afterward! I love them and they also made perfect Christmas gifts for the whole family. We also love everything from the rest of the night from dances and food and speeches and everyone just having a great time. Hi wire overall is such a cool venue and he had great spots to really capture that space from the artful walls, to beer can stacks and more. Honestly, afterwards we know Simon was the best vendor we had. There were a couple things that went wrong in different areas and he was so good at distracting us from these issues. For example - we did our own music which cut out at one point. At the same time he gave us a camera to take some photos of our own around the venue of our loved ones and really whatever we wanted. As the bride, this helped me not focus on what could’ve been a stressful moment (the music was fixed too no worries). I also believe he helped keep the event on track and flowing from pre-ceremony through the event. While we didn’t choose to have him there the full day, if it’s in your budget, just do it. You won’t regret it.

y to make himself knowledgeable about the family members and friends in order to capture what we truly were looking for to make the most of our memories. Simon was very helpful in guiding us to capture our personalities and everyone quickly related to him. He really felt like a special guests and we were in awe of the final products he provided for us. Everyone loved him!

ding, but also to have fun with us! Simon was loved by every guest and we received so many compliments about all of our wedding photos. Communication and planning with him was a breeze. If you're looking for a photographer who loves what they do and will be a hype man on your big day, I absolutely recommend Simon Anthony Photography!!!!!!

to go back and change things what would I, and working with Simon is one decision we would make over and over again. He is not just your photographer, but a friend making you feel like you’re the only two people in the world on your big day. We will never stop recommending Simon, and we wish him all the success in the world. Make your life easier and worry free by booking Simon!

so very nice. Having him there felt like having a new friend there instead of a random stranger taking pictures of us all day. We had a daylight time crunch because of the time of our ceremony and he kept the families moving for family portraits so we could get our other important pictures in before dark, which we really appreciated. Picture turn around time was fast; we even got one of our sneak peaks back the night of the wedding! I would hire him all over again and I highly recommend him.

stant force of warmth, calmness, and positivity. Simon was the best decision we made and I hope you are lucky enough to see your wedding through his creative lens.

d are so grateful for him. Highly recommend! This is your guy!

ar vision for our big day. We received our photos back promptly and were absolutely blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Simon captured every emotion and moment of our special day in a way that truly captured the love and joy of the occasion. But beyond the beautiful photos, Simon was a true pleasure to work with. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process and was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. Somehow he managed to strike the perfect balance by making us feel like he was an old friend who we could laugh and have fun with…but the responsible friend who is always on top of it and takes care of everything so we didn’t have to worry. He truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect and we will treasure the photos he took for a lifetime. We are so grateful to have had Simon as our photographer, and we highly recommend him to any couple looking for a talented and reliable photographer for their wedding day—he’s the best in the business. Thank you, Simon, for all that you do!

at ease and worry free. On the wedding day Simon was so incredible with his direction and making sure we got every photo that we wanted. And now, our photos are beyond amazing. Everyone that sees them says how beautiful they are and we couldn't agree more. Thank you so much Simon!

he has a passion for capturing moments of joy and beauty through his photography. The initial planning conversations were fun and stress-free. On our wedding day, his presence alone brought a warm element to the wedding and reception. He was professional and was able to get amazing photos throughout the event without disrupting any aspects of the ceremony in any way. We received our final photos in a very timely manner after the wedding, and every one of them is beautiful. He was a joy to interact with and we were able to be ourselves and capture photos that were genuine and natural. It was like having one of our friends as a photographer! His editing style brought out the best in every photo! We elected not to have a videographer for our wedding, and after reviewing all our photos no moments were missed. We cannot recommend Simon enough.

as a warm presence, paid impeccable attention to detail, and overall a joy to work with. We LOVE our wedding pictures. All of our friends and family members commented on how much they liked Simon. Thanks Simon!!

elope instead. He was incredibly flexible and willing to adjust his plans. And he made our elopement absolutely perfect! It was cold, windy, and rainy, but Simon was still game to hike with us and run all over taking pictures. My husband and I are both a little awkward in front of the camera, but we felt completely at ease with him and he really captured our genuine joy and love. The photos are stunning, and we can't recommend him enough!

and was dreading that portion of the wedding day, but he has loved every picture Simon has sent us, and said he felt really comfortable. My family and friends adored him, too! He blended with everyone easily and was overall awesome to work with.

our wedding was at the top of our priority list, and we can honestly say that Simon was the best choice we made. Not only are the pictures amazing, but Simon himself is an amazing person. We were anxious to take pictures as we had never taken professional pictures, but Simon made it feel like a breeze. He is so kind, patient, flexible, easy going, and hard working. He immediately felt like a friend and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot. By the time our wedding came around, there was no nerves of taking pictures, as it felt like we were hanging around with a friend and hype man all day. You can tell how much Simon loves what he does and how passionate he is about creating pictures and moments to last a life time. Simon always responded in a timely manner to emails and he was extremely helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process by answering any questions or concerns we had. He was on time for our engagement pictures and also for our wedding day. Our wedding day involved multiple different locations and Simon was flexible navigating the different locations. It was very impressive how he was able to follow the timeline of the day while getting candids/family pictures during a busy wedding day. We also received sneak peaks SO quickly.. literally within the same night of our wedding! We are so thankful that we found Simon and will forever be thankful for these beautiful pictures. We are OBSESSED with the pictures and the emotions that come from looking at them. Thank you Simon for everything you did for us! Seriously, book him!!!!!!

s out, today is our One Year Anniversary! And we can confirm the old adage that details from your wedding day are easily forgotten. But, as my husband and I flip through our engagement and wedding pictures, we are quickly transported back to that transformative time in our life. From Simon’s photos we can easily remember the giddy excitement, the deep and young love we had for each other, the love from our family and friends, and the tremendous amount of joy we had to be starting our new life together. In case you are like us, a little camera shy, Simon gently leads you through each session and by the end you will feel completely comfortable on camera. Simon was able to capture our good side and personality. There isn’t a photo that we don’t love. Simon is kind, professional, creative, a champion of love, diligent, punctual, flexible, and just a joy to be around. We highly recommend Simon and we can’t wait to request his services in the future.

w us away, making us that much more excited for our wedding and the amazing wedding pictures we knew we'd get from him! Simon's wedding day demeanor is AMAZING! He makes you feel comfortable even with everything going on and brings extra joy to your day. He was so organized and even our families were complimenting how well he managed our large group pictures! He captured the moments that let us relive our best day over and over, I've looked at our pictures every day since we got them back. My husband and I are both blown away by every moment he captured - from getting ready, group pictures, riding the bus with us to the venue (I mean above and beyond, he's the best), ceremony, and the reception! Not only that, his insanely good editing style keeps everything natural with the colors popping. To say we are a fan of his photography is an understatement!

rience really fun. I never thought I'd enjoy being photographed but he made both our engagement and wedding day photos such a great experience. We have so many great high quality photos/memories thanks to him! He helped make our whole wedding day so special! I highly recommend using Simon!

and rehearsal dinner beautifully. He was there the whole time and was the ultimate hype man. Simon made everyone feel so special and captured all the key moments. I will recommend him over and over again. Thank you so much!

y and was personable to all the guests. His work is wonderful as you can see from his pictures on social media. All our friend and family were amazed by the quality of work that Simon delivered and loved all the pictures. We will definitely hire Simon again for all our photography needs.

. While we originally went with him for his stellar work and the diversity of his portfolio, we quickly discovered that Simon is not only a photographer (whose photos are amazing/creative/candid/unique/emotional/empowering) but he is also a certified good vibe setter, mood lifter, stress zapper, and all around personified INSURANCE that you will have a good time on your wedding day. Simon is so chill and easy going while also being exceptionally on top of it and energetic at the same time. We were so nervous for our pictures because we feel like we're super awkward, but Simon made us feel so comfortable so quickly and after an engagement shoot and bridal shoot with him, he truly felt like part of the wedding party by the time the big day rolled around (and we actually had multiple friends and family talk about how bummed they were not to get to hang out with him anymore after the wedding weekend had passed). Simon's got many super powers, but one of his best is that he radiates good, calm, confident, positive energy. He just puts everybody in a good mood and he makes everyone feel like a million bucks - what insecurities?! Those don't exist here! He also so obviously loves what he does and his enjoyment of the experience is contagious. To every shoot, he showed up early and often stayed late. He was exceptionally generous with his time and super consistently responsive to any questions in between. His pictures are timely and INCREDIBLE and the experience of having them taken is really special. We learned during this process that it's not just the photos from your wedding day that matter, it's the feeling that rushes back when you see them that transports you to that moment - and with Simon, you can guarantee that those memories are going to be just as beautiful as the photos that captured them. Simon, we will be forever grateful to you for both documenting the best day of our lives AND being a huge part of what made it so great! We're official fans for life!

d boy was I lucky. His rates were very competitive and he was responsive when I asked for his vendor recommendations as well as prompt to answer any questions I had. We had multiple phone conversations, but due to this being a destination wedding I met him on my wedding day about 15 minutes before “getting ready photos”. He was kind, patient, and efficient. I had a list of must take photos I wanted to complete prior to the ceremony and he staged and took beautiful photos of the wedding party faster than I can take a picture of my just my dog. He had the list in his hand and always looking around for the best shot based off the surroundings. During the night he was EVERYWHERE, capturing so many candid photos which mean so much to us: from the dance floor, to sunset photos, to the sparkler exit. He even got some professional photos complete for our friends at the venue. My husband and I had never gotten professional photos taken before, but Simon knew what to say to get us to laugh or place us in poses that didn’t feel forced or awkward. Despite meeting him only that day Simon’s genuine personality made us feel so comfortable and at ease. If you’re looking for a professional photographer, look no further than Simon Anthony! You’ll be as lucky and fortunate as us for choosing him!

We were so thrilled to have found him and for his willingness to travel down to Savannah with us. He captured our day beautifully and we highly recommend him.

tains with us and then driving an hour to the venue for the ceremony and reception afterwards. He pays attention to the details so you don’t have to. Simon checked in with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure everything would be perfect and exactly what we wanted. We are so glad we chose Simon as our photographer, one of the best decisions we made! Thanks Simon!

ns when we just got our sneak peaks from our wedding back. He delivered them so quickly and they look incredible. For us, booking a good photographer was important to catch those memories, and Simon went above and beyond what we could have hoped for.

ing short of stunning! He exceeded our expectations in every way possible possible throughout the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I'm already looking for another excuse to shoot with Simon. He always returned our photos by the promised time, if not before. Honestly, the only difficult part of our experience was trying to decide which photos to print and hang because we had SO MANY favorites to choose between. We were so lucky to find him!

. Living in Nashville, TN, we weren’t sure where to start but we were lucky enough to stumble across Simon . From their first interaction via Zoom to our magical proposal moment, it was clear that my husband had made the perfect choice. Simon captured our engagement perfectly and immediately made us both feel at ease throughout our entire shoot. We knew right then that he had to be the photographer for our big day. He communicated with us clearly throughout the whole process and catered perfectly to our preferences and to our style. Our entire wedding party even commented on how much they enjoyed working with Simon and his team on our wedding day. And our pictures were just perfect! We couldn’t ask for a better experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon to anyone looking for a great photographer!

in him as a professional. And I can be quite awkward and uncomfortable in photos but Simon is so tactful he captures those moments without you even realizing he was there. I had people asking me if we planned certain shots and I said no, he is just talented! The pictures are all so natural and no awkward staging. Our event timeline also shifted THAT VERY DAY and he did not miss a thing! I’ll cherish these memories forever, highly recommend.

cares about his clients, and he gives such good energy to each interaction. He did such a good job of helping my husband and I feel at ease during our couple shoot -- all of the pictures are so, so lovely! I would choose him again in a heartbeat to photograph any life events or celebrations!

ing album, he is very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. We originally chose Simon for his photography and editing style but in the end we realized we really chose him because he made us feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Personally, I'm more used to being behind the camera myself, and my partner isn't particularly comfortable having his pictures taken so we were both a little nervous, but we knew we were in great hands after our first chat with Simon right before we hired him. Every shot ended up looking so effortless and candid, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the posed shots felt and looked natural because Simon truly takes the time to personalize your experience and tailor it for perfectly captured moments you'll cherish forever! It goes without saying that we would 1000% recommend Simon and will be using his services in the future.

e even had multiple guests comment on how great he was at the reception! He kept everything fun and lighthearted (even on a rainy wedding day morning). I would absolutely recommend booking Simon if you want a one of a kind wedding day photography experience!!!!

est friend the moment we met. Honestly, the hour of couple shots my husband and I took with just Simon was my favorite part of the whole day. The three of us just felt like friends hanging out, allowing us awkward posers to chill for a bit. His eye for capturing raw emotion and (my complicated) family dynamics were spot on, and holy cow.....the efficiency in taking those posed family pics that only grandma wants was *chef's kiss* perfection. Truly truly, if you are lucky enough to find yourself on Simon's vendor profile, wondering if you should book him, I promise you do not want to hesitate.

ing through the photos after felt like we were reliving our wedding day all over again (aka we were both in tears again :)). He did an amazing job of capturing the candid moments, which we loved!! Not only is Simon an incredible photographer but he is also an incredible person! Throughout the whole process, Simon felt like an old friend - so easy to talk to and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Simon was so communicative, quick to respond, flexible, and kind. During our wedding, he blended in so well and we barely noticed he was there. We still cannot get over how beautiful our photos are and could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding!! We love Simon!!

back kind of way. He had a relaxed yet effective way of working us into the beauty of the surroundings when capturing the day, ensuring all our requests were met all the while. He caught candid moments of our friends and family, that we just HAD to print and share. He kept the atmosphere light, but efficient when the picture taking had to be organized. He will feel like a well placed tour guide on your journey towards married life! This guy knows what he's doing, if you were unsure by peeking at his work.

had him do outdoor photos and at our reception. He captured some great moments with friends and family as well as the light of the morning outside. Extremely happy with his services!

s his photography style and talent phenomenal, he is one of the kindest people ever. He was so sure to make sure he captured all of the things we wanted and met with us before the wedding to discuss details. He was so calm and helpful the day of the wedding, and getting to hang out with him so much during the day was so great. He has such a cool and calm presence and I really feel he helped the day go so smoothly in conjunction with our wedding planner. If you want wedding photos that you will literally be in awe of every time you look at them, Simon is 100% the right choice!
