Working with Simon was nothing short of delightful. He is very professional and made us feel so comfortable for the entire shoot. He takes pride in his work and it shows through hi...
s beautiful studio space to the finished product. We had fun during our shoot and he captured moments as they truly were. I can look back on these photos and remember how I felt for each one. You will not leave disappointed, in fact you will want to book him for all your future photos.
Simon has been my family's photographer for 20+ years. He has taken our family portraits, my graduation, engagement, and wedding photos. He has a unique talent of capturing the per...
fect moment and memory. Simon is very professional and directs everyone in a very friendly manner. He will be the one photographer that will make sure you are positioned correctly (small things like: hands in pockets, having your chin pointed downwards, etc) which are the details that really make his work stand-out from others. Through all the direction, it still feel very casual, natural, and enjoy the experience. He also provides custom frames, mounts, and storybooks that memorialize those special moments. Whether its a portrait session or wedding, you will be guided throughout the entire process. He is also very responsive whether it be an email or call. If you want the best experience, Simon Yao Studio is where you want to go. (My profile picture was captured by him)
Simon captures beautiful moments and is a master of light. Thanks for capturing these beautiful memories for my daughter and son in law.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our wedding photographs turned out! Knowing how much time and effort goes into planning a wedding, we knew having the most special day of ou...
r lives captured perfectly was very important to us- as the photos would show the memories we always look back on for years t ocome. My family had used Simon for senior portraits a few years back and seeing his professionalism and how the photos turned out, we knew he HAD to capture our wedding. Simon took our engagement photos a year before the wedding and they turned out amazing! He was so patient with us as we went through many outfit changes and knew how to capture the perfect lighting and poses. He even allowed our dog to partake! When it was time for the wedding, he was a blast to work with. The photos turned out AMAZING. OMG!!

time and makes the effort to get to know the couple and it shows in his work - capturing their personality and the beauty of the day. We all just loved working with him.

Simon Yao is a fantastic photographer! My wife and I were married in June 2015 and used Simon for our Engagement photos as well as our Wedding photos. He makes the entire process, ...
which can be overwhelming, very fun and easy to follow. His in-home studio and garden attached to a Country Club are top notch and provide a variety of backdrops as well as a great set up for final picture review. Simon is great about providing his honest yet professional opinion as well. He provides insights and considerations with how pictures will look once they are matted, framed, and in final product display. There are other providers that are cheaper but you get what you pay for when it comes to investments and keepsakes of the wedding day. We ultimately decided we were willing to pay a little more to have peace of mind in working with the best of the best. Thank you Simon!

graphs. He made the wedding day move smoothly. He learned everyone's names and relationships very quickly, too - we are amazed at his ability to manage people! We are happy to have a photographer we can use for all of the milestones in our life. Worth every penny!
Simon is so incredibly talented-he did our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and both times, we had difficulty choosing our photo books-all the images are so beautiful! O...
n our wedding day, Simon and Maggie captured every moment. We didn't even notice them taking pictures, in fact, at one point during dinner, I asked if they were still there! They were still there, of course, just very professional about where they were standing. Simon is so talented in getting the right shots at the right angles. We were sort of limited on time for photos after our ceremony, but Simon made it work and we got all our pictures in. We went to his studio to see them this past weekend, and there were over 800 that made the cut! If I could have, I would have kept probably 700! They were just so beautiful and artistic. Thankfully, Simon has a very good system in place to help narrow down the photos for your album, and he walks you through it to make sure you have the perfect photos. I can't imagine having to choose without his help-It would be so overwhelming. I highly recommend Simon-he is truly an artist, and his work is timeless. He is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Simon was wonderful to work with! From the very first time we met with him we were totally comfortable! His work speaks for itself! Our photos were amazing! 100% recommend!

Simon was a wonderful photographer. He is very talented and will make sure he captures every wonderful moment in the wedding. Although he is very pricy, if you have the money, I ...
would recommend him fully. His pictures are wonderful and you will have a hard time choosing.
Simon and his wife do an excellent job! You don't even know they are there, but they capture great moments with beautiful photographs.
