Amy is AMAZING! She was one of the few photographers that we looked at while planning the wedding & was the quickest to get back with us & friendliest to speak with! Her & her assistant did an amazing job capturing every moment & tag teaming the bridal party so that we quickly got through all our shots! The prices are great as well & packages customizable to fit your budget! I definitely recommend Simple Moments Photography for all occasions!

Amy and her assistant did an excellent job photographing our wedding! They were discreet but managed to take an incredible number of good photos of literally everything. We even had a list of specific things to photograph (like the cake, the rings, etc) and they photographed everything on our list! The bride & groom photos they took were great too. I was worried about those since in my mind the venue didn't have the greatest locations for photographs, but they managed to find some really pretty locations for us to be photographed. They were also very efficient with the large-group photos and got those done in a timely manner. Overall, very pleased!

Amy and her staff at Simple Moments Photography were absolutely fabulous. We used her for both our engagement photos (which happened to also be family photos since my husband has a son) and on our wedding day. During our engagement photos she was so great with both our dogs and my step-son (who did not want anything to do with pictures). She made our whole family feel comfortable and relaxed. On our wedding day she captured our personalities perfectly in every photo while also capturing what would become our favorite moments. From the rings going on less than smoothly, to our adorable flower girl, and our awesome band she caught it all. Amy went above and beyond, instructing my girlfriends how to do my corset, bustling my dress when my girlfriends were no where to be found and even clipping my shoe back in when I couldn't bend over to do it myself. I am very disappointed with my final product. Please don't get me wrong at all, Amy was very nice every time i worked with her. She was very friendly and approachable. However, after i received my final product USBs i could not be more disappointed! Let me give you a little background on my wedding. The plan was to have an outdoor ceremony, however the weather did not allow that to happen and my ceremony got moved indoor. If you look at a lot of Amy's photos they are taken outside with great natural lighting. which i loved and loved when i got our engagement photos back. but, when my wedding got moved inside everything changed. the quality of the photos i received were very poor. The photos turned out as if the camera was on an auto setting with no adjustments. Photos were off center and crocked. the color of my wedding parties dresses are completely different in the pictures than what they are in person. Along with my mother's navy colored dress turned out looking black in the photos. The USBs contained ALL photos taken day of the wedding, which i thought i would love. however they were not organized in any type of way. and let me tell you going through over 4,000 photos is very overwhelming. and receiving all these photos just a month after my wedding, leads me to think that not a lot of editing was done to the photos themselves. In fact my sister (MOH) had armpit sweat stains in almost all the photos that were not edited out. I am now having to pay for a 3rd party editing service so that i can get photos that i am happy with.

The photos were creative and fun and just what my daughter wanted. There were many shots to choose from. The photographers were upbeat and fun and seemed to be everywhere judging from the photos but were not even noticeable at the wedding. Great job of shooting and blending in.

This photographer is very talented, I mean really knows how to capture lighting and take beautiful photos! She is also creative, when she does a group picture it's imaginative, not the typical boring poses. Would highly recommend her.

My husband, my wedding planner and myself went to Amy's home to meet her. She was so kind, showed us the most wonderful pictures, and made us feel very at home. I loved her immediately and wanted to work with her. We went to the most beautiful place, the Duke Gardens, for our engagments and my bridal portriats. This is an amazing photographer. Amy is not only creative, but she brought laughter and talent to the table. We are so thrilled with our pictures. She was able to customize a package for us to fit into our budget. After a preview shortly after the ceremony, she finished right on time with our whole package. Amy was great! Her photos are artistic and very flattering. My husband's cousin said she wants to get married again so Amy can shoot the wedding. I loved that I got the digital printing rights- saves so much time and money!

Amy photographed my wedding in Henderson, NC in July 2010. From my first meeting with her, I was extremely impressed with her ability and desire to get to know me and my vision for the wedding. When I was looking for photographer for our wedding, I sent out hundreds of emails to potential photographers asking for their info, portfolio etc. I lived in Iowa and my fiancée lives in North Carolina where our wedding took place. Amy, right off the bat, was very detailed and very friendly in her first email. And the price is reasonable too! The first meeting was when we had our Engagement and Bridal session. She came prepared with her boy as her assistant! That was so cute! Amy was very good at directing poses. She has this piece of papers with pictures of the poses that we'd use for our session. She is very professional, friendly, very good at keeping in touch. You won't regret choosing her as your photographer. Less stress in your wedding is priceless! :))

When my husband and I went for a consultation, we immediately got great vibes from Amy. You have to feel some level of comfort with your wedding photographer, right?! Well as she's explaining her years in the business and her style of shooting, all I could feel was her passion and love for what she does. Walking out, we knew we were going to use Amy's services. Amy's organized and professional, and you feel as though you've gained a friend. Even the materials (price list, order forms etc.) you leave with are put together well! Amy shot our wedding. She was on time and ready to work. You do need to make sure you know, in advance, who you want her to photograph, she will capture whomever you ask her to. Some may get left out if you don't plan ahead during the chaos. We purchased a $1100 package, which included 4hrs of unlimited wedding coverage, a disc with about 600 professional photos, either a bridal, engagements or romantic 3hr photoshoot and a free 10X13 photo. She had a super speacial. I could be leaving some things out... we had no complaints. Now we are looking forward to our romantic photoshoot. It's been about 3 months since our wedding and she's not rushing us to get our romantic shoot done. She responds to you the same day. And even gives advice and recommendations. I would highly recommend Simple Moments. My bridesmaid is even considering Amy for her 9/10/11 wedding. Oh, everyone I showed the photos to, loved loved loved the poses and the quality. We selected Amy to be our wedding photographer because the pictures she showed us were so unique and beautiful and because her prices were so reasonable. We were 110% pleased with her work. She bent over backwards to make things easy for us and we have gorgeous photos. We had some unexpected issues on our wedding day and didn't get many photos of just us (bride and groom). Amy offered a free session for us after the wedding even though the lacxk of pictures had nothing to do with anything that was her fault. So we got dressed up again and got grea photos. I was so touched by that. She is so easy to work with and does fantastic work. Youcan't go wrong!

I hired Amy because, at the time, she was new to the market. I knew she wouldn't be "stuck in her ways" and would work hard to get the pictures we wanted. I didn't know how hard she would work until long after the wedding was over. Wow! I absolutely LOVED my photographers!! Amy and her assistant Ashley are so talented and always put me at ease! The photos are absolutley gorgeous and creative. We had engagement photos done and the session lasted almost 8 hours! They did not want to stop until they had taken as many shpts as possible. They were a blast to work with and made it fun! Then I had a bridal session...we went to a beautiful park and took many photos. We had the traditional shots, but also many fun contemporary shots that are so me! The wedding photos are amazing and each shot is so personal. They captured so many moments that I will cherish forever. You MUST choose them for your wedding photographers!! You will miss out if you don't! I feel so lucky to have met Amy and Ashley!
