I recently moved out of state and began working for a florist and certainly have a new appreciation for all the hard work that goes into floral design and particularly weddings. I look back at our photos and I know I wouldn’t change a thing about what simple stems came up with for our wedding and I am so grateful!

Johanna was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. She truly listened to what I wanted, offered thoughtful advice when I needed guidance, and was meticulous about confirming every detail to make sure everything was perfect. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our day special.
On the wedding day, the flowers were breathtaking and elevated the entire atmosphere of the event. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked and how fresh they smelled. Johanna and the Simple Stems team brought such creativity, professionalism, and care to their work, and it showed in every arrangement.

Johanna with Simple Stems is a brilliantly talented florist who created the knockout arrangements for our spring 2022 wedding. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and...
many florists were experiencing shipping delays and were hesitant to help with our large wedding and request for lilies. Simple Stems stood out during the proposal process as the best florist willing to truly listen to the bride, find creative solutions & incorporate our unique vision for the wedding flowers. She was able to work within our budget & found ways to re-use the spring arrangements that she created for our rehearsal dinner for some of the wedding reception tables, adding fresh ones with a blending color scheme that transformed the dining area into a lush, growing & beautiful space. The bridal bouquets were a stunning blend of warm spring colors, that even included several types of fresh bright lilies, that no other florist was brave enough to order. I highly recommend Johanna as your future florist and supporting her small business with a bold vision that delivers bigger and better results than your budget.

when it came to flowers. I live 4 hours from where we got married and I never once had to worry about the flowers. From the initial communication to the day of the wedding, I was confident in what they were going to have for us. They were organized, had great communication and were willing to listen. My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen at a wedding. Everything from the bridesmaids bouquets, center pieces, cross flowers, sweetheart table to the flower girl crowns were carefully crafted and beautifully made. If you are a bride that wants to have a stress free experience and the most beautiful flowers you will ever see, go with Simple Stem. You will not regret it. Honestly, these photos do not do justice to what they looked like. Thank you so much for helping make the wedding of my dreams a reality, I will forever be grateful.

herefore changing a great deal of our floral decorations. I felt terrible when I called Johanna to tell her, as this was only weeks before the wedding, but she was so kind and understanding. She worked with me to change so much so close to the wedding, and she was so compassionate through all of it. You could not ask for a sweeter, flexible, professional, talented vendor. She brought my vision to life with her floral artistry. I was over the moon with how everything turned out. It was so beautiful! Book Simple Stems now before it's too late and someone else snatches up your date!

Excellent job! She saw my vision and ran with it! Every thing was gorgeous and she even accommodated some special requests. Couldn’t have been happier.
Tami and Johanna were a delight to work with. They were very responsive and organized and I had no worries about the flowers before the big day! I knew of other brides who were so ...
pleased with their services and I was very confident in my decision to use them. However, the final products were so disappointing. Corsages were made with the wrong colors (hot pink instead of ivory), the hydrangeas used were the worst I've ever seen (very small and wilted), the ivory roses used in my bridal bouquet were filled with numerous visible brown spots, the pastel pink and lavender flowers requested turned out to be neon shades! The alter arrangement was lopsided (almost all the roses ended up on 1 side!) The trailing ribbon in the bridesmaids bouquets consisted of 2 ribbons that were ultra sheer and super thin. They looked ridiculous! Upon discovery at the church of all the issues, the florists were gone and we just had to deal with the final products. It was heartbreaking to know the pictures supplied and discussed in person did not come to reality. However, the reception centerpieces turned out to be what was expected. It was a nice surprise!
Tami with Simple Stems was amazing to work with! My flowers were absolutely perfect the day of. The bouquets were stunning and not too heavy (I've carried some doozies as a bridesm...
aid before). My bridal bouquet was just breathtaking and it smelled divine too. I would absolutely recommend them for style, ease of working with them and of course budget!!

me through my choices and the prices associated with each. Johanna was easy to get in touch with and was flexible in adjusting the contract to add or subtract items. She delivered the flowers to the church the day of with the names of who the bouquets and boutennaires went to. Johanna also created two large floral arrangements for the front of the church and made them so they could be given to the mothers after the ceremony. She was positive and found ways to incorporate all my ideas, making small changes to make it all even more beautiful! Johanna Ehnis is an incredible florist in every way and anyone who hires her will be thankful for such a wonderful professional!
