Nikki was so sweet and so easy to work with! She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations- especially for the day of the wedding! The small details of greenery in the corners of the room, on the bar, or on the head table for extra decor was such a nice touch & did not go unnoticed! Nikki and her team were AMAZING. We never got to meet in person before the wedding but my mom and I talked with her on the phone and hit it off right away. She is fun, laid-back, mindful, and I really felt like we got a long. She heard my thoughts and helped me navigate what I wanted because I didn't know much about flowers. The day of the wedding, the flowers were the most gorgeous surprise. I knew her work would be good - but I had no idea how stunning they actually would. The ceremony had a romantic, draping arc of flowers - even my brother-in-law said "damn those are good." The bouquets were perfect for the women, and the men's boutonnieres were autumn with a leaf and small flower. EVERYONE was happy. She captured my autumn romantic look perfectly with blushes, oranges, rust. The table arrangements and tapered candles. To top it off, we had hoop chandeliers with greenery and lights hanging. It was truly all amazing.

Simplicity floral did a fantastic job with my bouquets! When Nikki and I had our consultant meeting and I described to her the colors I wanted she knew exactly what florals and greenery to use to make the bouquets as beautiful as can be! She also provided us greenery for centerpieces and they turned out amazing. Docking one star just because I had mentioned I wanted my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets to be very large m; however, my bridesmaids bouquets were on the small end of the scale. Still beautiful, just a little smaller than I had envisioned. For the price, I just had expected them to be a tad bushier. Honestly, my experience with simplicity floral was overall extremely positive and I cherish the photos I have of my florals.

Extremely great to work with! Nikki captured my day perfectly with the flowers. She kept them simple yet elegant just like I wanted. In fact, it was BETTER than I could have imagined. The arrival and clean up was so effortless it was one thing I didn't have to worry about at all the day of.

Nikki did such an amazing job! I did not know anything about flowers before my wedding, but she went above and beyond and brought my vision to life! Everyone was talking about how much they loved my flowers, even the photographers couldn't get over how beautiful they were! I am getting a painting of my bouquet, because I loved it so much! NIKKI IS AMAZING. We hired Nikki and her team for our wedding on 10/22 and I could not possibly recommend her more. She took all of my inspo and brought my vision to life. I’m in the process of drying and preserving my bouquet so I can stare at it forever.

Nikki was AMAZING! Not only was her work absolutely stunning, but she was so helpful with my day. She offered advice and perspective when I was unsure about things. She was also incredibly friendly and kind. Absolutely wonderful.

Nikki is phenomenal and you can tell she loves what she does! We spoke over the phone for planning during all this fun COVID timing, and she absolutely nailed the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and the arbor centerpiece! She even got some flowers that we didn't think would be in season, and I was so delighted to see them in my bouquet when she dropped everything off. One of my honorary bridesmaids couldn't make it to the wedding from out of state, so Nikki worked with me to ship her a dried flower corsage to make her feel part of the day. She went above and beyond to make our day look and feel even more beautiful!

Nikki is the best! With the coronavirus, I had to change my venue and postpone 3x. Nikki was flexible, responsive, and always helped bring my vision to life. My flowers were stunning and my decor was perfect! Nikki, thank you so much for everything and for helping us have the best wedding :)

Booking Nikkii as our florist for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. She was so accommodating with the fluctuations in centerpieces due to guests who couldn't come due to COVID and was so sweet and friendly. Everyone raved at our flowers, she did such an amazing job! Nikki and her team were awesome! I came to her with very general ideas of what I wanted for flowers/centerpieces and she put it together in a way that was better than I had imagined. She even worked a very special pin into my husband's boutonniere and added an extra table and corsage at the last minute. My bridal bouquet was stunning, and I got several compliments the flowers and the centerpieces. They were fast and professional in both the setup and removal at the end of the night. You guys!! I cannot tell you enough how amazing Simplicity Floral & Event Design was to work with. I would honestly give them 10 stars if I could. Nikki and her Assistant Grace went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. I’m a bride on a budget! When I told my (now husband) what I was thinking we were going to have to spend on flowers he was a bit beside himself and encouraged me to do some more digging. I am so glad he did because I found Simplicity Floral. Nikki didn’t shy away from giving me everything I wanted at a price point that was within our budget. After we chatted she sent an email with visuals and notes about what my day would look like which was so well put together. Day of- I received SO many compliments on our flowers!!! When the bouquets were brought to the hotel room I was just so happy, they were absolutely stunning. They did such an amazing job with placement on the various tables and signs, it was exactly how I had wished it would be. Thank you to Nikki and Grace for making our day so beautiful. Nikki is amazing! Not only did she create a gorgeous moon gate for our ceremony, she made the entire venue look stunning! She asked all the right questions to bring to light what I was looking for when I was having trouble deciding what I wanted. She helped coordinate things -which greatly relieved stress! She is such a talented florist and works very hard to make your vision a reality - even hard to get flowers - yeah she can do that! Thank you Nikki! You are slaying it lady!

Nikki was the florist for our wedding. She surpassed our expectations and provided the most beautiful arrangements. She truly made our vision come to life. Nikki started setting up our arbor decor at the outside ceremony site. Less than one hour before our ceremony we moved the location to under the barn due to bad weather. Nikki kicked it into high gear and made the impossible possible. Not only is Nikki highly skilled as a florist, but she’s also a sweetheart. if you’re in the market for a florist, you need her.

Nikki was absolutely great. I won't write a long review here, but just say that you can not go wrong with Nikki. She was fantastic through all phases. If you choose Nikki, you can check "Flowers" off you're list to worry about, she will take care of everything and it will be beautiful. She handled our wedding on July 13, 2019 at The Blue Dress Barn and formed our ideas into reality. Highly recommend her. Budget was fair and easily communicated. She is super easy to work with and doesn't try to control ALL aspects of the decor etc. You should definitely book with Nikki!

Nikki and her team did a FABULOUS job with the floral for our wedding. I showed her my vision and she killed it! We also gave her a budget and she helped us stay within that (which meant a lot since I talked to 3 other florists and they weren't willing to work with my budget). I loved that Nikki also gave suggestions on different types of flowers that was without our price range instead of making us pay more. They were on time to the venue to set up and had plenty of time to spare which meant a lot. would defiantly recommend!

After being disappointed with other floral companies in Grand Rapids, Nikki was the PERFECT FIT for our wedding! There are simply not enough words to praise the beautiful work that Nikki did for our ceremony and reception. My husband and I are outdoor enthusiast, however an outdoor wedding in December is not exactly a crowd-pleaser. Nikki took the time to get to know us and understand our vision of “bring the outdoors in”. This was further complicated by some pretty strict rules from our venue. However, Nikki did not shy away and embraced the challenge head on. The result was a breathtaking winter wonderland. It’s been a week, and everyone is STILL talking about how beautiful the venue was decorated. We are so grateful to have found Nikki and highly recommend her work.

I planned my wedding long distance, so we initially got in contact via the phone. We did an hour long consultation where I really felt like she completely understood the vision I wanted for my wedding. Even though we had just met, i felt like I was talking to an old friend during our consultation. Not only is she incredibly talented, but so personable and easy to work with! She also made some amazing suggestions and sent me so many awesome ideas. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I would choose Simplicity a thousand times over!

Nikki was the most amazing florist to work with. She knew exactly what I wanted to and was able to take my vision and make it a reality. The flowers were totally stole the show as they were so bright and beautiful. Nikki went above and beyond to make my dream a reality and worked so hard to customize my vision.
