on to make a bride feel like I rushed thru their day. I try my best not to make anyone feel rushed. I’m SO sorry it felt that way to you. That was not my intent. In fact, I brought an extra assistant at no charge in order to mitigate any of that. We agreed at the time of 11:30 for everyone else to be ready so that I could work on just you by yourself until 1:00 so I could make sure everything was perfect. But we initially agreed on 1:00 being the end time. When I had another bride call me & not need me till 1:30 or 2:00 only 15 minutes from you, I didn’t see any reason why I couldn’t help her out with just a couple people for a hour & a half or so. In fact, my other appointment didn’t even come up until you inquired about me coming back to do touch ups. & I remember saying that I need to know ASAP if that’s what you wanted bc someone else inquired about an appointment right after you. I was upfront about why I needed to know & I told you by me going to do that & then returning to do touch ups, it was going to save you a lot of money. I was flexible with you on time for that. I sent my girls to the other appointment bc there was nothing left for them to do. They left at 1230, and I didn’t leave until 145. Everyone was done & I was working on you. I asked each one of your bridesmaids how they normally wore their makeup to get an indication of what they normally like in terms of amount of makeup. If they had any preferences, they were more than welcome to relay that information. I’m my experience, if someone wants something specific, when I ask how they normally do their makeup, they will convey that to me immediately, “I normally don’t wear a lot of makeup but for this I was thinking *insert Pinterest photo*.” I’m truly sorry if they were waiting for me to ask, but I did not make them feel as if they didn’t have a choice. When I do “natural glam makeup,” I have my go-to colors in my kit for weddings based on eye color. I use those colors but change placement, etc. specific to the eye shape. I never meant for them to feel like they were all getting the same “look.” As far as me not spending much time on anyone, I’ve been doing this for so long that it only takes me roughly 5 minutes to do a simple style if someone has already prepped (curled and teased) the hair. Altogether that would be at least 20-25 minutes per hair. I also redid two of the ladies hair because they decided they preferred a halfup/halfdown instead of an updo, which added more time to the schedule. I also would have never left or let my girls leave if someone made it known to me that any hair was falling. I secure everything to the best of my sight, but if someone feels like their hair is loose, that has to be made known to me. I can’t feel it, that would be something they would have to tell me about. I can only fix what I know is wrong. I would have never left there had I saw that. Overall, I do take your feedback seriously because I care about my little business so much, and love serving brides. I truly hope the rest of your day was an amazing experience because that is what you deserve! So, I’m truly sorry that your experience wasn’t absolutely perfect. I try my best but I learn & grow every day. & I wish you & all your girls nothing but the best! :)
