I picked Cheryl initially because she had the best tasting cake with the most variety. I think she offered like 12 different styles at the tasting, which I loved. I knew I wanted the cake to taste good, and she delivered. We did an Italian Cream Cake which can be dry, with all the nuts and coconut, but it was incredibly moist. Cheryl also did a beautiful job on my sugar flowers. I believe she hand painted them, and they were exactly want I wanted. Don't be off-put by her strong opinions on how to do your cake, because she is right ;). Trust her and your wedding cake will taste and look delightful!!

We worked with Cheryl to create the wedding cake of our dreams. Though we were slightly disappointed with the look of the grooms cake, both the wedding cake and grooms cake tasted absolutely amazing. In fact, our family and friends were fighting over who got the leftovers. So if you are looking for unique or traditional delicious flavors then we recommend Simply Charming Cakes.

Absolutely delicious cake...fell in love with Cheryl at the tasting. Turns out she does amazing icing work too (that was a bonus...we picked her for the taste...seeing the beautiful cake that was delivered to the reception was a huge treat!) We got the spicy pear and our guests loved it--tons of compliments. Did rosette pattern on the top and bottom tiers and quilting w/ sugar pearls on the middle tier. Lovely, lovely, lovely...I'll try to post a picture of it...

Cheryl has great attention to detail and amazing artistic capabilities. Her cakes are beautiful and taste like grandmas home baked cake from scratch.

OMG our cakes were not only fantastic tasting but they were beautiful as well. Cheryll did a fantastic job making sunflowers and our grooms came was to die for. She is a small operation so bride book early but she is totally worth it and her prices are perfect.

Highly recommend simply charming for wedding cakes! Cheryl is wonderful and had been in the business for many years! She is very reasonably priced considering what others charge and her cakes are very very good! I would highly recommend her but get with her ASAP bc she books up very quickly. I had to book her mine months out. Very good!!!

We got lots of compliments on the cakes. They came out beautifully. I was annoyed by the fact that the maker politely expressed that she doesnt like making deliveries down town. She tried to save us money by offering to make a sheet cake so we didnt need an extra tier and so she didnt have to deliver it. We decided on 2 tiers which allowed us to pick it up, but 3 tiers requires her to delivery it for assembly. I wanted 3 tiers. I didnt want to pick up or have any of my family pick it up in Schertz. It was my fault for picking someone so far but she was so willing to help us especially when other vendors suggested I wait until I got closer to the date. Overall it was good cake and a good price.

Simply Charming Cakes made my sister's wedding cake 4 years ago and when it came time for me to get married we didn't think twice about who was going to make our cakes. Cheryl takes much pride in her cakes which doesn't just show in her designs, but in the taste of the cake as well. We had endless compliments about the look and taste of our bride and groom's cake.
