Her professionalism combined with her no-nonsense attitude (in the absolute BEST way possible), kindness, and quick wit made her the ideal person to trust with our big day. Her monthly check-in calls helped me stay organized and feel confident that we were on track for everything to get done not only on time, but ahead of schedule. Kristine is also extremely communicative - not one single email, call or text went unanswered. Moreover, she is VERY detail oriented - no rock was left unturned throughout the entire planning process. She also came up with incredibly creative solutions to various obstacles that came up during planning - for example, we have a shed in our backyard that we were debating having temporarily moved and stored offsite since we our marraige ceremony took place in said backyard. Kristine had the brilliant idea of putting trellises alongside the shed and planting climbing roses instead of moving it - it was (1) cost effective and (2) a beautiful way to "hide" the shed while also investing in our backyard space. Simply brilliant, and something I wouldn't have thought of.
One really significant thing that I'm most thankful for is Kristine helping me make the call on whether to utilize our rain plan or not - throughout our monthly calls and our walk throughs, Kristine knew that the weather was the one thing that I was most nervous about with our wedding being outdoors. Bearing this in mind, she gently guided me through the pros and cons of whether to use our rain plan when the time to make the final decision came, gave me her professional opinion when I asked, but then let me make the ultimate decision. And she promised it would be a perfect day either way - and she was right :)

Kristine was my main point of contact throughout our wedding planning - and she was ON IT. Unfortunately our original April 2020 wedding was postponed due to covid. During a confusing & tough time, especially for those planning such a big & important event, Kristine was there to support us along the way. She quickly adapted to the unprecedented times, was always transparent and honest, and made herself available to help us navigate unforeseen challenges. I constantly found myself saying, "It's ok, we have Kristine."
We decided to pursue a wedding in April 2021. We changed things up and had almost a completely different wedding - different location & different vibe - some different vendors. The Simply Charming team was completely supportive & kept us on track. The fact that the Simply Charming team had experience working with our venue & vendors, new & old, gave us an extra layer of comfort.

We ended up with a partial planning package with vendor recommendations, which was the perfect balance of helping me come up with a timeline, checking in with me to keep me on track, and sourcing the most perfect vendors.
Kristine is absolutely fabulous to work with. She is incredibly detailed and responsive, and helped me come up with the most perfect color palette and design scheme when I had basically no ideas to help her. We have received SO MANY compliments on everything from the flower colors to the invitation suite and day-of signage.
As an added bonus, once COVID hit and we had to make a lot of last-minute reschedules and changes, I upgraded my package and it was 100% worth it. Kristine took over all of the vendor communications and details that I just didn't have the time or the energy to deal with.
On the day-of, having someone to coordinate the timeline and make sure everything was running smoothly behind-the-scenes so that my family, wedding party, and I could all enjoy the day was absolutely priceless. prior to my wedding day working with Kristine through phone calls and emails and every time I talked with her I felt a little bit of stress just dissipate away. Kristine has an incredible ability of thinking through every detail and making sure you are hitting your timelines through the planning process without ever making you feel stressed. She also has an incredible eye for design (unlike myself) and is there to give her opinion on anything you need.
A month before the wedding, Kristine leads a final walk thru with all your vendors and after that it is smooth sailing. The walk thru is done with such professionalism and precision you feel immediately as ease.

She helped us in choosing designs, patterns, and colors that went well together. She put together amazing design boards to send to our vendors. She helped us review all our contracts (she even caught a mistake in one that saved us money). And best of all, Kristine helped us by figuring out a way to eloquently add our Golden Retriever puppy into the wedding!
Leading up to the wedding, Kristine helped to make everything as easy and painless as possible. During the wedding ceremony itself, she was our saving grace! Everything flowed smoothly throughout the night, and my wife and I never had to worry about the timeline, decorations, or vendors. The one snafu at our wedding was out of her control (DJ caught the flu a few days before the wedding), but Kristine handled everything behind the scenes to come up with a replacement through the DJ company. tarted looking for a day/month of coordinator. I spoke to over seven coordinators to find the right “fit”. Right away from the initial inquiry, I felt at ease with Kristine and her “can do” attitude, organization, and calm manner. I knew she was the one who would help my vision come to life. She really listens and is very transparent throughout the whole process. Kristine was always available for advice and guidance, and she was extremely quick with responses. I know she had multiple events and weddings that were being planned at the same time leading up to ours, but she made me feel like I was her only bride-wow! No one tells you that the month leading up to your wedding is the most hectic, but Kristine was so helpful through the final details and every step of the way from the final walk through to the day before.
Throughout the last month, week before, vendor set up, the rehearsal day, and day of, Kristine was in constant communication. Kristine and her team’s execution of our wedding vision and dreams were flawless on the day of. The venue details were exactly and more than what we had imagined. At the reception she kept us on time and kept the events of the night moving, which is so helpful when you are the bride and groom. My husband and I were always being checked on and we never had an empty drink in our hands. My mother and father felt the exact same way throughout our night and reception. She and I met for lunch and she told me about the top 2 and then she stated, “But the next woman is the one who I want.” She said she felt very confident of this woman’s desire to help her achieve her vision, she liked her detail-oriented process and knew that everything would be done right.
That woman, Kristine Cooke, owner of Simply Charming Socials did not disappoint. Personally, I have planned a lot of parties; black tie events for 100 guests, poolside parties for 120 etc. so I know the energy and organization that must be in place. Kristine has it down to an exact science. She managed vendor meetings, promptly answered emails and texts and did everything in between with precise detail and genuine oversight.
Kristine has great listening ears; a MUST for a good coordinator. No detail was overlooked. Her team worked in tantum with other vendors seamlessly. No issues, no drama and everything was handled with perfection. She totally got my daughter’s vision and made it all come together!
Kristine allowed me, the Mother of the Bride, to enjoy every moment of that day only because I knew she would take care of everything beautifully. She personally checked in with me during the 5 ½ hour reception several times to make sure that all was good and that my champagne glass was filled.

We had a 200 person wedding at the Swan House/Atlanta History Center and we needed to plan from out of town, which meant that we were concerned about connecting with the right planner. We talked to a lot of people, and Kristine initially stood out through her experience, demeanor and raving reviews.
Throughout the planning process, Kristine made everything effortless and never showed signs of stress, which was invaluable given that we were out of town. She listened to our wants and needs, yet she was always honest if we failed to consider an issue. It always surprised us how many aspects of planning we would have never considered without her experience, and it made us so thankful that we had gone with the partial planning package rather than only going with the day of coordination.
On the day of the wedding, Kristine coordinated with every vendor like a well oiled machine. EVERYONE told us that when you get married, you have to expect that something will go wrong procedurally. She is an incredible listener and was so present throughout the entire planning process, always quick to respond to any text, call or email. So many times I had an idea but wasn't sure how to make it happen and Kristine was able to brainstorm with me and make all the little details fall into place. Other times, my indecisiveness got the best of me, and Kristine was there too, ready to help problem solve, dream up ideas, and create a day that my husband and I will remember forever. fiancé and I had a vision and plan for our wedding that even our parents didn’t quite understand, but Kristine was able to take what we struggled to verbalize and create something that exceeded our dreams and expectations.
Kristine is already an above-average wedding planner in her ability to coordinate and plan through dozens of logistical obstacles, but where her real gift is, is her design and ability to bring her couples’ dreams to life, and that’s exactly what she did for us. Our wedding was unlike any other we have been to because Kristine took the time to get to know us, enabling her to hone in on what we really wanted as a couple – not just what was trendy or easy at the time. A 300-person, out-of-town wedding was no small feat, and on top of that, Kristine absolutely transformed our reception venue to be exactly what we envisioned. Even two months after our wedding, friends and family are still reaching out to comment on what an incredible weekend it was and that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to – everything down to the small details (Kristine’s specialty) was absolutely perfect. The task of planning one of the most emotional and expensive days of our lives, including hosting 160 people for a ceremony, dinner, and dance, was a daunting and never-before-experienced task. The first couple weeks of engagement, I wasted hours upon hours searching through Google/Pinterest, only to find ideas and vendors that didn’t fit our vision or budget. I knew this wasn’t how I wanted to remember my wedding season! Other than marrying one another, Kristine was one of the best choices we made regarding our wedding. We chose her Partial Planning and Design Package, which was the perfect balance of vendor referrals, design assistance, and planning.
Kristine is incredibly gifted in providing organization for the entire wedding planning process, providing direction for your vision, extending many creative ideas, referring numerous wonderful vendors, putting budget where it counts, answering all big AND little questions, planning and coordinating logistics for every minute of the wedding day, and executing a plan beautifully. Because she took the time to thoroughly understand our vision for the day, every design idea, vendor referral, and suggestion she gave us was spot on. She goes above-and-beyond to organize vendors not only the day-of, but a month in advance. She is very responsive, incredibly professional, thoughtful, and an excellent listener. planning on my own and honestly thought I didn’t really need anyone for the day of- that I could get away with doing it myself and having friends/family help out. Once I talked to Kristine, not only did I realize how wrong I was, but I realized how much I NEEDED her services. She took over all planning and coordination from about a month out. She sent me a form to fill out with all the details, contact info and contracts I already had with vendors. We had a vendor meeting at the venue about 3 weeks before the big day, where we hashed out a rough outline of the day with some of the vendors (venue, catering and Simply Charming Socials) and went over little details. Unbeknownst to all of us, Kristine wasn’t feeling well at all. She went above and beyond for us even though she was so sick! She never complained or had any delay with any communication. I could not have been more pleased with her and her assistant. From our first phone call, Kristine made me feel so at ease and comfortable with her. She was so incredibly detailed, kind and easy to work with. On the wedding day, she came prepared with a whole apron filled with scissors, string, needle, literally anything I could ever think of or need- which I actually did need a few things. A few strings came loose on mine and my moms dresses- she sewed us right up and you couldn’t even tell! She and her assistant, Jennifer, made my {new} husband and I warm plates of food and ensured that we actually ate them. (It definitely took more than one warm plate!) Kristine reminded me to not be eating during my dads speech, so I wouldn’t be in the background of photos awkwardly stuffing my face. We were able to relax and enjoy the day and night without having to think of anything. Seriously. Everything went perfectly. Exactly how I pictured and dreamed of. I could not recommend Simply Charming Socials more!!

vendors to create a timeline for them to load in/load out so you never have to worry about this on your wedding day and can just enjoy what matters most- celebrating happy times with family and friends. Kristine is such an absolute joy to work with and made our wedding completely stress free! She is always available when you need any help or have any questions and makes sure to cover all the tiny details that you might otherwise overlook without her help. She has a great way of guiding you from one event to the next (going from dinner to cake cutting to first dances, etc) while keeping a calm atmosphere. All of the logistical detailed stuff that I dreaded having to plan (day of timeline, coordinating with vendors, etc) Kristine handles so in-depth that you seriously have no worries throughout your wedding and I think is the best money spent so you can have peace of mind. For the final month, she coordinated all of our vendors for us which was something that was extremely stressful for me to even think about and made sure they had everything they needed and knew exactly what we wanted and what they needed to do day of. We had monthly calls to check in on progression but she was also always there through email to assist me with any detail that was needed. needs before providing any information on what their services are and what it's like to work with them. Kristine was not this way! She worked to understand what style of wedding we were going for and our budget of course, she also felt friendly and down-to-earth, while also direct and detail oriented. We booked her for our day-of-coordination as well as some vendor recommendations since we lived out of town.
Throughout that time she was always responsive and helped us in finding vendor alternates that might be more open to serving our remote venue in north Georgia.
Then, about 3 months before our wedding, the weight of it all set in and we knew we needed her for more. She worked with us to figure out a plan that made sense for us since we had already done a lot of planning and covered the things we really needed help with. (ie: all the freakin' details!) Kristine ramped up quickly jumping into all the planning I had already done. She honed on our stylistic vision, (she improved it actually) and communicated this back out to our vendors. When we were unsure about preferences, she weighed in with her oppinion based on her experience rather than what she thought we wanted to hear which we really valued - and she was always right of course. The result was the best day of our lives. We felt like we were in such good hands - we literally didn't think for a second about any of the details or logistics and just enjoyed our wedding day. How many people can say that?!
Also, did I mentioned she worked our wedding on her own birthday!? That's dedication and passion.

ay-of-wedding planning (which I've told all of my bride-to-be friends is non-negotiable, you MUST have AT LEAST day-of coordination). Kristine went above and beyond to make sure everyone (including the MOB) were happy and comfortable on the wedding day.
Since we booked for day of coordination, a lot of the big decisions were already made, but there were a SHOCKING amount of tiny things that popped up last min to figure out and Kristine was a God send! "Let's ask Kristine" was my favorite and most used sentence in the last few weeks before the wedding....
"How should we do the chairs?"

With out her support on the wedding day I'm certain that I would have been on the phone all day with vendors (not a single person bothered me with one issue!), I'd also have been a flustered mess trying to coordinate everyone and everything (I was a relaxed, happy, ball of joy <3)

e is *no way* we would have been able to pull off a wedding there without the sheer genius of the SCS team!! Thank goodness we hired them, because it ended up being a dream come true. Everything from asking the venue coordinator about the outlets and power for the DJ, to wondering about load in logistics (all things that my naive wedding mind would have had no idea to ask about) to finding the perfect dream team of vendors to make it all happen, they were true experts and amazing at their jobs. From our very first conversation, I could tell that Kristine just "got it." I wasn't one of those girls who had a wedding Pinterest board already or knew exactly what I wanted at all; when Kristine showed us our design board that she had put together, I was truly blown away.
Besides being super competent and delivering on all of their promises, I was so impressed with their professionalism and level of service. I definitely trespassed into borderline crazy-bride mode as it got closer, emailing/texting them questions at all hours of the day, and I was always made to feel like my question was so important and they totally got it and were super helpful every step of the way.
