I have so many good things to say about Candace... but my favorite part of our wedding cake process was the tasting! Candace is relational, kind and passionate about the work and time that she puts into her wedding cakes. She allowed us to taste slowly, talk through what we wanted, and customize a wedding cake that was specific to "us". We had a honey apricot wedding cake with strawberry rhubarb filling and white buttercream frosting and it was SO GOOD! I could not recommend her more!! :)

Candace was a dream to work with! Not only are her cakes delicious with such unique flavors, but her designs are unbeatable. I never thought a cake could be so pretty until seeing her work! She’s very flexible and easy to work with, and also an all around great person :) 10/10 would recommend !

Our wedding cake was simply delicious!! Exactly what I asked for and more. Everyone loved the combination of flavors and how the sweetness of buttercream did not overpower the flavors of the cake. The decorations were simply beautiful, exactly like on the sample photo. Thank you Candace for making my perfect wedding cake!!!

Candace was a pleasure to work with! She runs her cake business from her home and is a very hard worker. Her cakes are delicious, moist, and so flavorful! We knew we'd pick her to do our wedding cake just by the smell of the cake before we even tasted it. Can't wait to order our 1 year anniversary cake! We got so many compliments on the cake and people asking for her contact info.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious. My husband and I are vegan and we got one tier vegan and believe me I wanted more. Very affordable and friendly. We will definitely hire her again.

I ordered a cake through Candace for my grandmother's 80th birthday party because she came highly recommended to me and now I know why! She is quick to respond, professional and her cake was AMAZING! We did raspberry champagne for the flavor and the raspberry filling was heavenly. Everyone at the party was raving about it! I will absolutely use Simply Delicious in the future and will be sure to recommend her to everyone I know!

I met candace at my wedding venue during one of the vendor open house events. Her cakes were delicious and she seemed really excited about helping me design my wedding cake. When I got home, I sent her a message on the knot and waited for her to reply. Over the next four months, she responded with incredibly generic responses and never answered any of my questions. I sent her Pinterest photos of what I was looking for - a white, three tiered cake with some foliage on it - and never got a response. I also sent her what I was looking for in flavors (as we’d talked about that day at the venue). I was so disappointed in her lack of effort to communicate when I was basically begging to work with her.

Candace didn’t wonderful job! Our cake was delicious. There wasn’t any left! She has unique flavors, not too sweet, and perfect for our Austin, Texas themed wedding. I think everything was honestly perfect.

We tried a couple of vendors for our wedding day cakes, and Candace's was by-far the best tasting cake. Our guests raved about her cake and some told me that they had 2-3 pieces! Her cakes are simply delicious!

THIS WOMAN CAN BAKE! My brides cake and the grooms cake was absolutely gorgeous but more importantly it TASTED AMAZING. She met us at a Starbucks right outside of Austin to do a little cake tastings. (Met us halfway - so nice!!) It was SO hard to choose because they were all amazing. My husband ended up getting the cookies and creme cake with a chocolate frosting and I ended up going with a salted caramel buttercream cake with a caramel drizzle and let me tell you - my guests STILL rave about these two cakes. I wanted to do the "barely naked" cake look but I despise white cake so Candace came up with this salted buttercream alternative and it still gave the look I was going for. We loved it and it looked mouthwatering. I wish I could post pictures. My family requested that have some of our saved 1 year cake because they miss it so much! Her prices are on point, if not, more competitive than the bigger bakeries! Lastly, Candace was timely and set up the whole cake table for us. I had no doubts about her. Thank you, Candace!!

Candace is a true professional with the sweetest heart and amazing talent. She created a beautiful semi naked three tier cake that was Instagram worthy! My daughter chose the browned butter pecan and carrot cake for her tiers. The cake was devoured so quickly, I never got a bite! My daughter did, of course, and said it was delicious.

Simply Delicious Custom Cakes is by far the best tasting wedding cake company I have ever had. Candace is punctual, professional, and really listens to what her customers want. My husband and I were blown away by how many delicious flavors we got to try at the cake tasting and were delighted with our lemon raspberry and chocolate wedding cake. The frosting and decorations were exactly what I asked for and Candace came early and had everything ready with plenty of time to spare. The cake was moist and flavorful and was the perfect ending to my wedding day. I froze some of it and honestly can't wait until we can thaw it out and have some more!

Planning every detail out for a wedding can be stressful, but our cake ended up being one of the easiest decisions we made. We tasted so many cakes from other bakeries, and couldn't find one we were happy with any of them, then our wonderful wedding photographer recommended Simply Delicious Custom Cakes and I'm eternally grateful. It's been a year since our wedding and I still find myself dreaming of her chocolate cake with a salted caramel filling (it's even BETTER than it sounds). My husband's carrot groom's cake had the perfect balance of spice. She worked great with our ideas and executed it perfectly! I love funfetti cake, and she made the most fun confetti almond cake I've ever seen-- so many sprinkles! Her cake is the perfect balance of dense and fluffy, it's hard to describe, just perfect. Candace did a great job with not only presentation at the first meeting, she was open to suggestions and had recommendations for us. She was like a ninja on wedding day, she snuck in and out leaving the wedding set up beautifully for our guests to view upon their arrival. All the flavors offered at the interview were delicious and everyone loved the cake on the day. I can't wait to eat our top tier on our 1year anniversary.

Simply Delicious Custom Cakes did an amazing job on our wedding and grooms cake. It was everything we asked for and more! Not only did it look fantastic it tasted AMAZING! We chose lemon cake with fresh raspberries folded in with a lemon filling and cookies and cream cake with a cream cheese filling. We cannot wait until our one year anniversary so we can have some more!

Candace had made my Sister's stunning wedding cake earlier in the year, so booking Simply Delicious was the easiest wedding planning decision I made! She was so sweet and easy to work with and brought every one of our ideas to life beautifully.

I attended a wedding that Simply Delicious had made 6 different types of cakes to choose from. Everyone was raving over the beautiful cakes to choose from. They were "simply delicious " - definitely worth the calories!

Candace was easy to work with on designing our perfect cake. She had a good variety of flavors for the cake tasting and we knew we wanted to use her because her cakes were yummy but not too sweet. She created a beautiful cake for our wedding...after I sent her a few designs of cakes I liked. She also created the cutest mini pies for our Groom’s “cake”....cherry, pecan and apple! They were sooo good! My husband was very proud of his Texas Tech shapes pecan pie. Our guests loved our dessert selection!

Candace is an absolute DREAM. I'm a photographer who has used her cakes on styled shoots so when I got engaged, she was my first call! She met with us and let us try a sampling of delicious cakes, it was so dang hard to choose which ones we wanted for our big day. She delivered one of the most gorgeous and yummy cakes I've ever had. Four months later and people still talk about the cake. We had so many compliments on the flavor pairings. Candace delivered the cake of our dreams and I would recommend her to every bride I know [I actually do recommend her to all my brides]. Hire her ASAP!

Choosing Simply Delicious was one of the best decisions I could have made for my wedding. I met Candace at an Open House event and with one taste of her cake I was sold. She was an absolute breeze to work with and she was very attentive to all the questions I had. I chose to do three different types of cupcake flavors and all my guest kept raving about them. My only regret is not ordering more! Our little cakes that I chose instead of a regular bride/grooms cake were adorable. I had a baseball with a Ranger's T and my husband had a golf ball with the Aggie symbol. If you have a vision, Candace can create it. I highly recommend Simply Delicious!

Simply Delicious is truly amazing! When I first went on a quest to find the right cake baker for our wedding cakes, I was a little uneasy about finding someone who would be a fit for us. But after talking to Candace, I knew that we found someone who was in it for the right seasons. She genuinely loves what she does. She is an artist through and through and she has such a passion for baking. Everything from our cake tasting to our wedding day far exceeded our expectations. She makes all of her cakes from scratch and you can taste the difference. So much so that even our guests commented on how good the cakes were. Thank you for everything, Candace! I'm sure we'll find another reason to order another cake for you down the road because your cakes are just that good! :)

Candace literally put the icing on the cake for our perfect wedding! Her cakes were absolutely beautiful and my guests raved about how light and delicious they were! She was fabulous in accommodating our visions for the cakes and even allowed us to sample her wide variety of custom flavors during the planning process. I wish I could get married all over again to work with Candace and enjoy her delicious cakes!

Candace was truly wonderful! We booked her for our February 2017 wedding and have absolutely no regrets! She took the time to really understand our vision-- a long table filled with a bunch of delicately piped mini cakes, macarons, and a beautiful 3-tier marble cake with gold leaf accents. Definitely not easy to explain! When we saw the table though, we were in love!!! It also did not hurt that Candace really knows how to make a yummy cake. The cake was incredibly moist and the icing wasn't too sweet where it overwhelms the entire thing. So many guests were raving about it! Thank you for everything, Candace!!

I have celiac disease and Candace was so kind and understanding and delivered an INCREDIBLE cake and cupcakes. Everyone loved every bite! My husband and I even got to have some leftover slices when we got back a week later from our honeymoon and still couldn't get enough. Candace adds so much peace and calm to a wedding day and is very responsive-- choose her!! You won't regret it. She's also super fairly priced for the absolutely amazing product she delivers!

Simply Delicious was absolutely amazing! Candace did everything I asked for and more! The main cake had red velvet with cream cheese frosting, almond cake with raspberry frosting and both were delicious! My husbands grooms cake was vanilla with cookie dough frosting! We have the top of our cake for our 1 year anniversary but we may not be able to wait that long!

Candace recently made my daughters wedding cake, it was so beautiful and tasted delicious! My daughter wanted fresh flowers on her cake, so I left Candace a jar of fresh flowers for her to use for the cake , she placed the flowers in such a way that the cake was stunning ! Candace was SO wonderful to work with! We found her through Brides of Austin and I am so glad we did! Not only did she make a delicious and beautiful four tier cake decorated with ruffles and fresh flowers from the florist, but she also made a really cool grooms cake! It is family tradition to have traditional English wedding cake (fruitcake) as part of the grooms cake. My mom made the square fruitcake, and Candace decorated it by added another layer in the shape of Texas with a longhorn on it. Both cakes were beautiful and delicious. Candace was a dream to work with - professional, responsive and very friendly. Candace does an AMAZING job!!! Not only does she bake delicious and beautiful cakes, she is also friendly and pleasant to work with! We ordered a 4-tiered cake with each tier as a different flavor (red velvet, tuxedo, carrot, and italian cream). All of our guests raved about how delicious the cake was, and they all had different tiers! I personally appreciated Candace's extra care and initiative when I saw her putting the final touches on the cake that morning at the wedding. She told me the flowers the florist left her were less than desirable, and she just used what she could and some of her own flowers she brought to decorate the cake so it would look pretty! She did a fantastic job and the cake looked beautiful! Thank you, Candace for going the extra mile to make sure your creation (and my special cake) looked gorgeous on my big day!
