Katie and Simply Designed Events could not have been more wonderful to work with. We had her for set up and tear down and honestly, the best money we spent. Katie was so organized and professional. She worked with us beforehand on the set up of the ballroom and her expertise was invaluable when it came to handling arrangements for various things. And when it came to tear down, she and her crew were a well oiled machine. We were packed up and out in less then 30 minutes! Amazing!

Katie is the best! She set up and coordinated our reception and put mine and my parents' worries at ease. She was on top of everything from our first meeting and even thought of things we didn't! Very reasonably priced for the quality of service you get. Would recommend her to anyone!

To put it bluntly, we wish we could give Katie and Simply Designed Events more than 5 stars. Katie provided an AMAZING experience from start to finish, and we can't believe how lucky we were to have found her! Katie has an awesome talent for coordination and attention to detail, and was instrumental in almost all of the aspects of planning and executing our perfect wedding day, and it literally was that "perfect" day. Katie calmly helped orchestrate every little detail, and thankfully the weather was perfect too, but we expect if Katie could control the weather she would have done that as well. She is worth her weight in gold. Seriously - if you are reading this and DON'T work with Katie and Simply Designed Events, you are doing yourself a disservice. If you want to have the peace of mind that a great wedding coordinator brings to the table, look no further than Katie and Simply Designed Events. I guarantee you she will help make your day as magical and simply AWESOME as ours was. Looking back, we can't imagine planning and having our perfect wedding day without Katie in the picture, and Katie if you're reading this, we love you! (Katie isn't paying us for this review - she is just legit that good that we took the time out of our day to write this!)

What a great job Simply Designed Events did on my daughter's wedding! Katie pulled together a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception organizing everything from the venue to the caterer, wedding photos, DJ, desserts, flowers, and all decorations. Katie is experienced, organized, easy to work with and really knows her stuff.

Katie was the day-of coordinator of our dreams!! She was so helpful with planning in the month leading up to the wedding! She helped us to make the most detailed and helpful timeline for the day, which I think was a HUGE part of the day’s success! She met with my vendors with me leading up to the day, and she was so helpful and asked amazing important questions that I would not have even thought to have asked! I was so happy to have her at the rehearsal, as she really herded people and made the practice efficient and painless! Finally, on the day of the wedding, she handled EVERYTHING down to the tiniest details so that my mom and I were completely stress free and could really enjoy and take in the day. Katie is incredible, and our vision would not have come true without her! Thank you Katie!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Katie. She handled everything and made sure our day was as stress free as possible. I received so many compliments from my bridal party about how sweet and wonderful she was to work with as well. My husband and I are over the moon with how amazing our big day turned out and it was all thanks to her! We had a large bridal party of 22 and she was amazing at rounding everyone up and making sure we were always where we needed to be! I absolutely recommend her for your big day!

Katie Meckstroth was "simply" wonderful! The coordination and prepwork was top notch and we felt like we could really trust her work. We presented quite a few challenges on our big day and Katie helped us every step of the way. We couldnt have asked for more.

Having Katie as my Day of Coordinator was one of the best decision's in planning my wedding! Katie is so easy to work with. She is attentive and listen's to what you want for your wedding. Then she makes it happen! I or my guest's didn't have to worry on my wedding day about getting the different venue's setup. We could truly enjoy the day. Katie made our special day so easy and stress free! She created our seamless timeline, coordinated with our vendors, assisted with our ceremony and helped set up our reception. She was a lifesaver during our wedding! I would really recommend Katie and her amazing team for your wedding. She was the best decision we made to ensure our celebration was exactly how we wanted it.

Katie was spectacular. We used Katie for day of coordination services and everything ran flawlessly. She came to our rehearsal for the weeding the day before and did a great job making sure all wedding party members knew what to do and where to be. The day of the wedding she helped with setup of the reception tables/decorations and kept everything running smoothly. Katie knows what she is doing and is great at what she does. She is a must hire for wedding planning and day of wedding coordinating. We can't recommend her enough.

Katie is THE BEST. When I say don’t hesitate, I mean it. I hired SDE to be my day of coordinator but Katie was SO much more. My day ran smoothly because of her, she decorated my venue and laid out my ideas better than I could have ever even imagined. She made sure that my husband and I got the chance to relax and enjoy our day. She was ON IT. Every question, vendor hiccups, timeline worries — she took care of it. We spent our dinner talking about how perfect she did. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would. I will absolutely recommend SDE to every single person I know.

Katie is an absolute gem! I worked with her for my October 2021 wedding in the midst of a pandemic and switching jobs and a whole lot of chaos happening in my life, and she was nothing short of a lifesaver. She is timely, organized, and easy to work with. She helped make the details of my wedding vision come to life, despite the cold and rainy weather that blew in last minute the day of the wedding. She kept us on time and made the day so smooth. I appreciate all of her efforts and can’t thank her enough! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner in the Kentucky/Ohio area!

Katie was amazing and helped us every step of the way with planning. We had a very unique and intimate wedding and Katie was integral in making sure our day was Stress free. She's so kind and considerate and we cannot recommend her enough!!

Hiring Katie was the best money spent on our wedding!! Katie was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. We started working with her a few months before the wedding day, and she was incredibly helpful organizing all timelines, vendors, and details. She was SO responsive leading up to the wedding, which I really appreciated. The day of our wedding was absolutely stress free thanks to Katie- she took care of any and all details and issues. We absolutely loved having Katie coordinate our wedding day!

Katie was our day of coordinator for our wedding on 10/2/2021. We planned our wedding from out of state, and Katie helped pull it all together so easily. She solved any problem that arose before having to stress us out about anything. She truly is amazing! Our day would not have been as perfect without her!

Katie did an amazing job as our wedding planner! She was incredibly punctual, always running our meetings on time, and was flexible with our busy schedules! She helped us with calendar invites and made sure we paid vendors on time. She was very personable and easy to get along with! Kati was professional and always kept us on track. I can't say enough positive things about Katie, and my husband and I would highly recommend her to anyone as an excellent wedding planner!

Katie helped with our day-of coordination and she was spectacular. She dug right in to assist the vendors and ensured everything went according to plan. She ensured the 'flipping of the room' from ceremony to reception was flawless, allowing us to enjoy the cocktail hour. We highly recommend Katie!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this woman is. We hired her for day of coordination and she went above and beyond. She kept everything together, was always within earshot if I needed something, and kept me calm when I was about to go down the isle. She was fluid, worked with my vendors on setup, and changed over the room for me during intermission. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that our wedding was a success because Katie was the backbone of the day. “Look for the little lady in the black dress. She knows the answer” became a go to statement and I had full confidence she’d get it done.

I would recommend Simply Designed Events to anyone. We used her day-of coordination services, and if I would have known how amazing she is I would have hired her for more coordinating. She is responsive, supportive, and a delight to work with. We faced some interesting circumstances during this pandemic and she helped us navigate them gracefully and without stress. Even just seeing her on the big day made me feel like everything would work out perfectly and it did. Thank you for everything!

5/5 stars. If I could Katie and Simply Designed Events more stars I would. Like many 2020 brides, we had everything planned for my daughters Sept 2020 wedding completed in 2019. 12 weeks before her wedding, we made the decision to change our plans. We kept the date but moved the smaller wedding and reception to her Grandparents yard, allowing both the wedding and reception to be outside. After many phone calls and meetings we realized my daughter could still have a beautiful wedding but we needed help pulling everything together. Luckily we found Katie and Simply Designed Events. Katie was amazing. From our initial call, I knew we had found the right person to help us make the day beautiful and special. Katie had multiple phone calls and meetings with my daughter and our vendors. She was able to pull everything together to create a magical wedding for my daughter. Katie allowed both my daughter and myself, to enjoy the day and not worry about things. We would not have had such an incredible day had it not been for Katie and Simply Designed events.

Katie was so understanding and professional. She was on top of everything and thought of details that hadn't even occured to me yet. 100% worth the investment. She made sure our wedding went as smooth as possible and was always there to help me or my husband with anything we needed.

I had pretty much planned everything out for my wedding. I had already bought the decor, had the venue picked out the caterer picked out and everything. I was looking for someone for the day of to decorate so that my bridal party and I could enjoy the day and for someone to make sure that things ran smoothly at my ceremony site and at our reception venue. Katie was that girl! She was so sweet and so helpful and very organized. she decorated the venue exactly the way we had talked about in our meeting and I didn't worry about a thing the whole day. She was very flexible and easy to work with and very professional. I received a lot of comments from other vendors and family that she had worked with at both sites and I could not be happier with the service that she provided. She helped make our special day perfect!
