Had it not been for Patti's immeasurable guidance and craftsmanship, I would have been lost in the sea of wedding planning. She walked me through anything and everything that I was unsure of, always prompt in responding to queries and new ideas , and was able to take our vision for the day and make it into a beautiful reality. Every item crafted was simply incredible, every touch was personal and allowed for our story to be told. I cannot recommend her enough! She helped to make our wedding truly extraordinary!

Long story short: We needed some quick calligraphy work on our envelopes because due to circumstances the time line we were working under had shifted a bit. Patti was amazing to work with from the word Go. Very responsive, an extremely nice person, very flexible, and super high quality work. As we speak we are getting very good responses from the people receiving our invitations. To top it off the prices were very reasonable (to be honest I think she should be charging more, really :-). Due to Patti's amazing help our invitations went out according to schedule. We will definitely use her in the future for all our calligraphy needs.

If you want beautiful calligraphy at a great price, look no further! We weren't sure if we had calligraphy in our wedding budget, but after some research online we found Patti as one of the most reasonably priced in the area with a nice range of modern-calligraphy styles in her online portfolio. Patti is super flexible & very nice to work with. She had lots of thoughtful ideas for us throughout the wedding planning, she would send us photos when she saw items that might be nice decorations to go with the look/"theme" of our wedding. In addition to standard calligraphy on envelopes & place cards, we ended up using her help for some last minute DIY projects. For example, at the rehearsal dinner we used actual seashells as place cards. Patti did such a beautiful job writing everyone’s names on the shells. Patti does more than just calligraphy & is also a talented sewer. She custom made 2 small heart shaped pillows for us to resemble traditional German gingerbread cookies, like the ones you see at Oktoberfest ;) The time & effort she put into all her work far exceeded the pricing she charged. We got tons of compliments on her work (from guests who received invites to strangers at the post office.) The groom was from Germany, so we had some difficult European names & addresses on our guest list. We did have to send a few items back to Patti for spelling corrections, but she was very fast to send replacements at her own mailing expense & made sure we had everything on time. (This might not even be an issue if you have all American names / addresses.) Patti's beautiful calligraphy, thoughtful planning suggestions, the extreme amount of effort she puts into custom DIY projects & her low costs definitely deserve 5 stars!

We hired Patti to do the calligraphy for our invitations as well as our escort cards and table numbers. She did a great job and I would definitely hire her again. My only complaint is that there were a couple of smudges on two of the envelopes for our invitations. However, when we noticed a minor spelling error for one person's name, she immediately completed a new one and sent it to us.

I was married August, 2013 on Cape Cod. My mother went to Patti when she was looking to have a keepsake gift made for my husband and I, as well as something that we could use at our wedding. Patti made this beautiful card box for guest to place cards into (there's a photo of it on Simply Done's Knot page and her own website!) Patti made the box so we could use it as a keepsake box after. I have all of my wedding memories, photos, garter, cards, etc. in it. It's so perfect! Patti was also kind enough to custom frame our wedding invitation with a beautiful fabric floral display inside the frame around the edges of the invitation. We have that sitting on our mantle. Patti's work is worth ever penny and then some!

Patti is extremely detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. She helped me create my perfect wedding vision from the gorgeous lace bows she designed for me as well as my unique and creative seating chart (made of luggage tags for our travel-themed wedding!). I was able to relax and enjoy my day knowing that Patti was there, executing my day flawlessly. Can't thank you enough!

We used Simply Done after our first calligrapher messed up our invitations and we had to order all new envelopes and belly bands. Patti was great! She did exactly what I wanted and in only a few days. We used her for our place cards and labels for our candy table as well and they looked great.
