Kirsten and her girls Monica and Brielle were wedding day heroes. Kirsten worked with us beforehand with our timeline, walk throughs, vendors, decor, linens, etc. All three of the girls assisted with our day. Our venue had the reception space set up for the next day's wedding, not ours. The girls were able to fix everything morning of prior to me even finding out about it. They set up and tore down our wedding and made sure everything went smoothly and on time. We were always right on schedule the whole day (and we even had an off site ceremony). Kirsten has relationships with most vendors in the area and has connections to help with every and any tasks or rental. It is absolutely worth having a coordinator to help with all your wedding festivities and Simply Elegant Affairs was the best.

Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Kirsten. As a couple planning an out of state wedding, we knew we needed a planner. There are not enough words to describe the worth and value of having Kirsten as our wedding planner. She is essential to have for a perfectly planned and executed wedding. We hired Kirsten and her team for month of wedding planning services for our wedding at Rosewood Farms. Let me just say...Kirsten is the best in the wedding planning game. Writing this review is hard because I just simply cannot say enough good things about her. She made the last month of preparing and prepping a walk in the park for me. She listens to your ideas, but also offers suggestions and ideas from her years of expertise. She made our day run SEAMLESSLY. We received so many compliments on our day, and I know we owe a lot of those to Kirsten. This is perhaps one of the easiest reviews ever! Kirsten made our wedding day absolutely perfect! We always planned on having a wedding planner but until the planning process got underway, we didn’t realize just how much we needed Kirsten. Thankfully we opted for full-service planning and Kirsten took care of almost everything. She was so tactful in her level of involvement in our planning process, always giving us space to make decisions while offering her professional guidance. When faced with decisions, she would offer multiple options and lay out the pro/cons of each and tell us what has worked/not worked in her experience. Kirsten’s vision and design made our wedding a show-stopper. She listened carefully to key design elements and moods that we had in mind and then brought these ideas to life through a mood board detailing everything from florals to linens to rentals we would need to bring it to life. From there, she coordinated closely with our florist and various other vendors to bring this vision to life. We couldn’t have pulled even a fraction of this level of coordination and execution off without her! Finally, Kirsten was a breeze to work with and was always readily available. She was always responsive and receptive to questions or requests that we had providing a response typically within minutes. She was always up for meetings, emails, texts, phone calls, coordinating with vendors, putting out fires, etc…she simply went above and beyond any expectations that we had in a wedding planner and we are so fortunate that she was by our side of this perfect day! We would HIGHLY recommend Kirsten to anyone looking for a wedding planner and would HIGHLY recommend her full-planning services!

Kirsten is absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our wedding day. We knew Kirsten was exactly who we needed from the first time we spoke on the phone. She understood our vision from the beginning and brought it to life better than we could have imagined. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and that's all thanks to Kirsten! We hired Kirsten as a full service wedding coordinator and we could not recommend her more. We ended up working together for almost two years from the very start of our engagement. Kirsten was always attentive, on top of all aspects of the wedding, quick to respond with any question we had and she has the designer's eye. She was able to help us develop and expand on the vision we had for our wedding and bring it to life, and on the day it was even better in person than we could've imagined. Our venue did not offer much outside of the venue itself so we had to bring everything in, and on top of that we do not live in the area, so we went with the full service package and it was the best decision. And most importantly, the day of events were planned meticulously and executed to plan, and even if they weren't we knew we could trust Kirsten to take care of whatever happened day of. I seriously could write more than 3500 words to describe how amazing our experience was with Kirsten. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We first contacted her right when we booked our venue, Rosewood Farms, back in September 2021. She was extremely responsive, kind, and totally understood my vision without even having to go too far into detail. Throughout the two years working with her, she was so gracious when I would have any question, put any thoughts at ease, and helped me stay on the right path for our design. She knew exactly what I needed without even having to describe it! She made sure to communicate with all of our vendors and handle any situations that came to light and also how to avoid any that could have! I honestly can not take an ounce of credit for our wedding, she helped execute our dreams and more! Fast forward to September 29th, 2023, which was truly our best day yet. It was supposed to rain, but she made sure to make us feel at ease that we have a plan. (It never rained!!) She and her team put in so much detail and effort into our day. Even when I made a little mishap on our seating chart, she didn’t even let me see her sweat (if she even did, she’s just that awesome at what she does!!). If anything went wrong on our day.. we still had no idea! Our design was breath taking and our guests are still raving about it. I wouldn’t have been able to any of this without her, and it was such an honor to get to know Kirsten and her family over the last 2 years. While she was a huge aspect of our wedding, she’ll always be in her corner and us in hers. Kirsten was amazing to work with in both the planning leading up to our wedding and during our wedding day. She made planning a wedding in PA while living in Texas easy on us and brought us a great team of vendors. On the day of our wedding, she helped so many things go smoothly and we were able to enjoy our wedding day and have fun with our friends and family instead of worrying about any details. I mean, WOW!!! Our wedding turned out absolutely perfect thanks to Kirsten. We really had no clue how to organize a wedding and what decisions it entails and not only she walked us through it every step of the way, but she also helped us keep track of dates and timelines and gave us helpful suggestions based on her multiple years of experience. She really worked very hard to make sure everything was as we wanted it and, needless to say, everything turned out perfect. She’s really great. Kirsten was absoultely amazing throughout the entire wedding process! We hired her for day-of coordination but she helped us months before our big day. She even had a hospital stay the week of our wedding and still made it! Kirsten definitely puts her clients first and was one of the main reasons our day ran so smoothly. Where do I even begin? Kirsten was the best when planning our wedding through every step. We got married June 23,2023. The countless calls and FaceTimes that we had where she ensured everything would go smoothly and it did!! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and perfect because of her. Kirsten is absolutely amazing! She worked tirelessly to make sure our wedding was perfect. I booked Kirsten for Month of Coordination, and 6 weeks before the wedding Kirsten started helping with timelines, decor, and seating charts. She also helped me pick out linen and goblet rentals for our table settings. On the day of the wedding, I felt no stress at all about my schedule or wedding guests. As an anxious person, this lack of stress truly helped me focus on one thing - getting married to the love of my life. Kirsten was extremely helpful and made sure our day was as stress free as possible! We had a small wedding of about 25 people, and it felt so beautiful. Monica was our main point person for our wedding day, and she was absolutely fantastic. Our wedding day was magical and it was all credit to Kirsten at Simply Elegant Affairs! In our first meeting I had no idea what I wanted our day to look like but she was able to guide me in the right direction while incorporating her amazing design skills. We hired Simply Elegant Affairs for our wedding on September 23rd, 2022. For the entire month of my wedding, I had so much help from them. Kirsten helped with mapping out the layout of our entire venue. We also set up multiple FaceTime meetings and she took notes of everything that I said and wanted. As I gathered RSVPs from my guests, she made organized charts that contained their seating arrangements and dinner selection. She communicated with all my vendors prior to the wedding. The month of my wedding was stress free and easy! All I had to was pack up a few decorations and show up! The day of our wedding went so smoothly. We had two coordinators Cassie and Nina. They even added a third person for a couple of hours just for set up. Cassie and Nina were so patient and calm. They set up my entire wedding venue just as I envisioned and welcomed all the vendors and showed them where to go. I relaxed the whole morning with my bridal party and did not have to worry about set up. The morning of the wedding I had forgot to grab baby’s breath for my hair. They even drove to the nearest floral shop and grabbed baby’s breath for me. They were so incredibly helpful. Throughout the night they kept checking on me and would make sure the flow of the night went smoothly. They worked so well with my photographer and DJ and other staff at Rosewood. I would highly recommend hiring Simply Elegant Affairs for your wedding and booking them as a whole month of coordination. I am a very organized person and thought I could handle doing everything on my own, but you want your wedding to be stress free and enjoyable. I took a leap of faith and put my wedding in the hands of the amazing coordinators at Simply Elegant Affairs and I could not be any happier with my decision. Kirsten was absolutely amazing! Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and different vendors, most of whom we had selected before hiring her. But the transition of putting everything under her supervision was seamless. Her coordination with all the vendors was really helpful, and she walked with us through every little detail - many of which were not even on our radar. On the day of, she did a great job of handling everything from bad weather, to change in ceremony location, to vendors not showing up on time. Her presence truly gave us the peace of mind to be able to just enjoy our special day. She really went the extra mile for us. She let us store rental items with her to help with our being from out of town, and she was able to personally find someone to help with our wedding favors when our original plan fell through. I can’t tell you how many times over the last week I’ve told my husband “Kirsten was the best money we spent for our wedding day.” We were married on 5/21/22 and had hired Kirsten as our month of coordinator for our wedding at The Manor at Juniata Valley Winery. While I’d already done a lot of up front planning to book vendors before hiring Kirsten, I knew that we would want someone to handle the day of coordination for our wedding and Kirsten came highly recommended from our photographer. After working with her, we know why! Kirsten is organized, friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell that she really loves what she does! Leading up to our wedding day, we had several check in meetings with Kirsten to go over decor, and the wedding day timeline. She always had excellent advice on how to make our space beautiful, and how to make the timeline guest-friendly. I know our wedding would not have been the same without her! On our wedding day, Kirsten made it go by seamlessly - she worked with all of our vendors to coordinate their arrivals, set our tables, hung the seating chart, and overall, handled all of our decor for the day. She also made a fabulous timeline that broke down our day to a tee. It was truly a dream to work with Kirsten because she handled everything on our wedding day, allowing me to relax and enjoy the day leading up to the ceremony, rather than worry about any details related to the wedding. There were a few “oopsies” throughout the day that she handled perfectly (and I didn’t have to know about them until they were resolved!). Kirsten was such an essential part of my wedding day and I could not have had as flawless of a wedding day without her and her assistant!!! They truly do it all. She is a true professional and was so calm, confident, and totally in control of the whole day. She helped me from start to finish (I chose partial planning service); she helped to create a mood board for me to choose my color scheme and get the ball rolling because I was basically paralyzed in making a decision prior to her help. I actually chose almost all of my large vendors before booking Kirsten, but there were so many details I overlooked before working with her, she helped me really focus on decor and overall vibe, created my entire perfect timeline for the day of, became the point of contact for all my vendors and confirmed arrival/set up so I didn’t have to worry about anything! I was so confident in her that I was able to actually ENJOY my wedding day instead of worrying that everything was running smoothly. She even sewed me into my dress when it started falling down and saved the day and also saved me from exposing myself during the reception and cleaned my lace when it dragged in the mud in photos. My venue already had day-of coordinators but Kirsten took it to the next level and just elevated my experience and made me feel so special. Kirsten is so talented and I 10000% recommend her to any future couples looking for planners! Look no further than Simply Elegant Affairs!!!

Kirsten really knows what she's doing. She helped me plan my wedding in ONLY SIX MONTHS because we're military and had to do things pretty efficiently. She communicated effectively with all of my other vendors, helped me make crucial decisions about my day, helped me rent and return rental candle glasses etc., and was just generally a kind, considerate, sweet woman and a complete joy to work with. Day of, our shuttle that held so many of our guests was LATE and she handled everything and made sure I wasn't stressed. Can't recommend her enough, her prices are very reasonable for the amount of time and effort she puts into the planning of your wedding. I know we'll be friends forever!!

Our wedding was very DIY for both planning and decorating, and since I couldn't personally set up and "run" our wedding, we hired Kirsten as our day-of coordinator. OMG she is an absolute rockstar!
