Jessica is truly magical, there’s no two ways about it. I spent a year and a half planning a wedding from across the country, and was somehow fortunate enough to snag Simply Elegant for myself and my bridesmaids. Jessica always communicated promptly, and was even kind enough to find time for a rather last minute makeup trial when I suddenly had dates for a final visit to our venue. Her home studio was beautiful; the trial helped me lock in exactly what I was looking for; and she brought every ounce of fun and professionalism from her private studio to the accommodations we were getting ready in. She arrived right on time for the big day, and immediately got to work setting up the perfect workspace for herself and the wedding party — finding the best light and area to set up in a sea of getting-ready chaos. More than anything, what truly stuck out about Jessica’s work, is her ability to enhance her client’s natural features. I wanted to look like my best self, and she absolutely delivered. Not only for me, but for my wonderful bridesmaids! She listened careful to each of their requests, made sure she knew exactly what sort of look they were comfortable with, and nailed it from the get go. She works efficiently but does not rush, has a gentle touch, and a fantastic personality. She immediately worked out a schedule with my hair vendor to make sure they used their time efficiently, and finished right on time, which brought some sorely needed peace of mind to a hectic day. Jessica knocked my wedding day make-up needs out of the park, and I couldn’t have possibly chosen better! I will always be beyond thankful I chose Simply Elegant for my big day, and you will be, too!

Jessica was absolutely amazing!!! My makeup held up the entire day and night that by the end of the night you would think I had just gotten it done. I typically don’t wear a lot of makeup and wanted more of a natural look and she gave me exactly that but 1000x better than I could’ve even imagined. I had 14 girls getting their makeup done and not one felt rushed or unhappy with their makeup. All of my bridesmaids couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved their makeup. She made me feel amazing on my wedding day and I can’t recommend Jessica enough for your wedding day!

Jessica is so good at what she does. All the girls got exactly what they wanted and looked stunning. The makeup held up through so much sweat and tears. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Jessica is the most professional and talented makeup artist I have ever had the pleasure of hiring, she was worth every penny. Jessica is very welcoming, accommodating, and kind. She took the time to sit with me to discuss my makeup choices, to go over my desired look, and had such great recommendations along the way. In addition to makeup services, Jessica did my microblading prior to my wedding, and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Getting your eyebrows tattooed is such a serious commitment but Jessica made the process so seamless! I wouldn’t think twice about hiring Jessica for any service for your next special event.

I am very impressed with Jessica and so glad I chose her as my makeup artist and skincare specialist for my wedding. Jessica did my makeup, makeup for two moms and two bridesmaids for my October 2023 wedding. Not only was I thrilled with the makeup trial results, day of makeup and her ability to change looks the morning of, I also visited Jessica for facials leading up to the big day. She was very knowledgeable, applying individualized skincare and I was thoroughly impressed with what I called my “new face” post-facials. I also was impressed with the numerous certifications she had displayed in her space. I felt I was in good hands. Jessica’s in-home space was very tranquil and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated every time. I will absolutely visit her for skincare in the future. Lastly, as a teary bride, I want to highlight that I cried many happy tears while reading vows and my makeup did not show any signs of that at all! I would absolutely recommend Jessica!

Jessica is an amazing make up artist and is able execute a variety of different looks and techniques. She is professional, calm, and organized. She was able to make my entire bridal party and moms happy with their looks. Party went into 2am and my make up still looked flawless!
