Jessica is absolutely amazing. I had a formal gala to attend and Jessica was very patient as I explained to her my desired look. She created a perfect look that elevated my natural beauty without having heavy makeup. Everyone at the event was complimenting my makeup. The makeup looks perfect in professional photos as well as up close when talking with others. She took her time with my makeup to make sure my look was flawless and that I was confident the makeup was to my perfection. I look forward to having Jessica do my makeup for future events. I am very impressed with Jessica and so glad I chose her as my makeup artist and skincare specialist for my wedding. Jessica did my makeup, makeup for two moms and two bridesmaids for my October 2023 wedding. Not only was I thrilled with the makeup trial results, day of makeup and her ability to change looks the morning of, I also visited Jessica for facials leading up to the big day. She was very knowledgeable, applying individualized skincare and I was thoroughly impressed with what I called my “new face” post-facials. Jessica is an amazing make up artist and is able execute a variety of different looks and techniques. She is professional, calm, and organized. She was able to make my entire bridal party and moms happy with their looks. Party went into 2am and my make up still looked flawless!

I had a few trials to see different looks and she was always so patient and easy to work with. Jessica listened to anything I wanted to try, and was always spot on. Jessica was the perfect choice for my wedding day. She was always responsive leading up to the wedding day, which made planning very easy. She was able to accommodate several different make-up styles for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law and everyone loved their look! The make-up that she did for me lasted my entire wedding day and wore well into the evening. My pictures came out stunning and I received compliments on my make-up specifically all day! I could not have been more happy with my choice to work with her. And if I ever need make-up for other events in the future she will be the first person I reach out to.

I cannot recommend Jessica enough! I had originally seen another makeup artist for wedding trail prior and my makeup was melting off roughly 2 or 3 hours after the trial (I have oily skin). We did a 2nd trial with modifications and it still didn’t hold up. Jessica was recommended to me and I explained my concerns to her and she knew exactly how to apply makeup for my skin type! I didn’t have to blot once for my 14 hour wedding day and that is unheard of for me. I got SO many compliments and best of all I didn’t feel like my face makeup was weighing me down. She really enhanced my natural beauty and I genuinely felt absolutely beautiful!

I came into the trial with absolutely no idea what I wanted, and felt so confident she would do an incredible job just from a few minutes of speaking with her - and she certainly did not disappoint. I played a soccer game in the rain after getting my make up done, and much to my surprise, it still looked incredible - she’s a true artist. On the day of my wedding, she showed up early and very prepared. She was a calming presence in the chaos of a hectic day, and got along with everyone so well. I had makeup done by Jess for my brother's wedding and just knew I needed her for mine! She did my bridal makeup this past weekend and it was flawless. I chose airbrush makeup and it was incredibly light and durable! Jess was so gentle and the process was comfortable. The individual lashes lasted really well, I didn't even feel them! Jessica was fantastic! On my wedding day she did 7 women, plus me. Everyone's makeup turned out beautiful, and everyone was so happy with how they looked! She did different styles for everyone based on their preference. I LOVED my makeup - we took the two trials we did, and sort of combined them into a perfect look. Five stars is just not enough to rate Jessica. Jessica is always on time, she gives you her undivided attention and extremely talented as well as a perfectionist. I am terrible at doing makeup and have had my makeup done by others and went home immediately and washed my face. When Jessica did my makeup she took into account my aging skin, my features and my coloring. She knew exactly what features to play up and how to minimize imperfections. It was simply perfect, I looked better than I have ever looked. She is kind and sweet and client centered. I have recommended her to friends and believe me you have to be fabulous for me to recommend you. Don’t waste your time going to anyone else, Jessica is THE BEST.

Jess and her assistant America did a fabulous job on the makeup for my wedding! I am not a daily makeup wearer so I wanted something light but elegant. Previous to contacting Jess, I went to a makeup trial with another local artist. I left the other trial with layers of makeup on. All I wanted to do on my drive home was wash my face! When I explained what I wanted to Jess she listened and delivered exactly what I asked for! Her makeup was light and gorgeous! It is obvious that Jess is extremely knowledgeable about makeup and skin care. Jess also does facials and other skin services to help keep your skin clear and glowing. I would definitely recommend hiring Jess as your wedding makeup artist!

This wonderful woman deserves more than 5 stars. I was so lucky to find Jess and her awesome talent. Her and her partner (because there were too many of us) America did a wonderful job getting everyone done and making everyone look amazing on my wedding day. Not only did my makeup look the best it ever has in its life but since the beginning Jess helped me get my acne under control. My acne has been the worst and so hard to control. With her skilled help and my dermatologist they both made my skin flawless (literally has never been) for my wedding day and although it is only a few weeks after it still looks amazing today. She is so skilled that not only does Jess do makeup but also does a number of other skin care and beauty things. I took advantage of her microderm abrasion and chemical peels but thats not even all she offers. Everything she does is very clean and professional. Thank you Jess for not only the makeup but all the extra work you put in to help me for my wedding day.

Jessica was amazing to work with. It was easy to communicate with her through email for the time leading up to the wedding. I had two trials with her over the span of a year, and she was very accommodating with wanting to try new looks until I was totally satisfied. She also did makeup for 7 of my bridesmaids. Her price is very reasonable. She offers airbrush foundation and individual lashes, which every elegant bride will want. Her personal attitude is cheerful, and bubbly, while her work ethic is strong, talented, and committed. Absolutely loved how my makeup came out and so did everyone else. I’ve had my makeup done a couple times and every time it comes out flawless! Jess has done some wedding glam on me that came out just as stunning in pictures as it was in person. Jessica did makeup for my wedding for myself and my bridal party. She wasn’t amazing from start to finish. At my trial she was very attentive and took the time to sit with me and discuss the perfect look. On my wedding day, we ran a little behind due to some of the girls running late and being unsure of how they wanted their makeup done. Jessica remained professional throughout the whole process and directed everyone to what would look best, not to mention she finished us all on time and did not make us feel rushed at all. This is my second time having Jessica do my makeup for a wedding and I know next time I need my makeup done, she will be my first call.

Jessica did my makeup along with the rest of my bridal party , my mom and grandma. She was on time, professional, and listened to what we wanted. Our makeup stayed on all night and looked amazing. My fiance and I both live in NYC and decided to get married in Middletown, NY. My wedding coordinator had used Jessica for her own wedding and highly recommended her. When I looked at Jessica's website and saw the pictures of her work, I knew that she was the makeup artist that I wanted for my wedding. Fortunately, Jessica was available on my wedding date and was able to schedule a trial within weeks from our initial conversation. I do not wear heavy makeup at all and wanted a natural look but still wanted to be a bit "done up" given that it was my wedding. When I met with Jessica, I brought in inspiration pictures, and she captured exactly the look I wanted. I could not have been more happy with how my makeup came out for our wedding. Additionally, my bridesmaids all of which were of different skin tones, are still raving about Jessica and how beautiful they felt after getting their makeup done. We have all been in multiple weddings and all agree that Jessica is the best makeup artist that we have worked with. It is very difficult to find someone that can understand the nuances of working with different skin tones. I wish Jessica lived closer to the city, so that I can use her for every event I have. I highly recommend working with Jessica, and booking quickly as she does tend to book up far in advance.

Jessica is amazingly talented and such a sweetheart. During my makeup trial she really understood the look I wanted, and even checked in a week later to make sure I was happy with the trial and see if there was any changes I had for my wedding day. As a bonus, she's also super sweet and relaxed, which is great to have around on your wedding day which can get pretty crazy!

Jessica is not only incredibly gifted and talented at what she does, but she is also such a pleasure to work with! She made the morning of my sister's wedding even more special, and ensured that each of us were given individualized makeup applications that were both cohesive as a bridal party, but still tailored to our own specific style. I really enjoyed working with Jess. She's very intuitive about makeup and adapts your every day look into something more glam for your wedding day. I had to do very little explaining to get her to come up with the perfect style right off the bat in my very first trial. She's professional, timely, communicative, organized, and came well-recommended by other vendors in the area.

Jessica and America did an amazing job doing all the make upfor my 9 bridesmaids, mother, mother in law and myself. I am not a person who wears any make up besides masacara on occasions. Jessica listened to my requests and was able to really enhance my features without making me feel like I had too much on. All of the wedding party enjoyed chatting with them. After the wedding I met with Jessica to learn more about the basics of makeup. We had a good laugh at the fact that I didn't even own makeup! Jessica taught me how to apply makeup and even went so far as to create a list of supplies she recommended for my personal needs....right down to which brushes are used for which makeup. We scheduled another appointment for Jessica to teach me how to use the makeup I purchased I currently am a client of hers for eyelash extensions. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day that I wanted to continue to learn more and work with Jessica to continue that feeling of confidence with makeup and lashes. I am absolutely at a loss for words when I try to describe how impressed I am with Jessica...because I know word can't do justice for her talent! Being a makeup artist myself, and not getting married local to where I live, I was nervous that I didn't have a good referral in the NY area. I reached out to numerous artists and wasn't all that excited about them. I came across Jessica's page and LOVED her work! She then sent me her pricing list which was perfect for my bridesmaids. Her work was flawless and everyone loved her. I also had her do my eyelash extensions in her home studio, two days before the wedding. She is very quick and precise with her work. Her home studio is gorgeous, and she was so friendly and fun to work with. I would hands down refer her to anyone that gets married in the NY area! Thank you Jessica!!!

Jessica did my makeup (trial + wedding day) for my wedding. She did an amazing job on my makeup and also my bridesmaids' makeup. She's patient, kind and incredibly talented! I found Simply Elegant Beauty after searching makeup artists online. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so I was looking for very natural styles. After checking out the website I knew Jessica would be a perfect fit. We spoke on the phone about my usual beauty routine and set up a trial. She listened to everything I wanted and totally delivered. Jessica is super sweet and clearly knows what she is doing. On my wedding day my makeup was done perfectly. It looked exactly how it looked at the trial and I couldn’t have been happier. In addition to my makeup looking great, it lasted all day and night. Jessica was the first person I did a trial with and loved her. Before I met with her I struggled with acne and really dry skin. Not only was the makeup awesome during the trial but I felt like I was finally getting answers to help my skin. I went to her for regular facials up until my wedding. I had her do my makeup for my bridal shower, lash extensions for my wedding, and of course on my wedding day. She really listens to what you want and what you are comfortable with. She did my mother's makeup for my wedding who was hesitant and nervous, but Jessica made my mom look stunning and my mom loved it. I am definitely calling Jessica for my next special event!

From the moment I talked to Jessica on the phone I knew she was the perfect person for me and my special day. Jessica was always available, understanding, informative, and helpful. We had two makeup trials, one of which she coordinated with my hair stylist so I could see everything put together. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions that were on point. Jessica did not just my make-up but 6 bridesmaids and 2 moms and everyone looked stunning. Jessica even fit my sister in last minute which was a life saver. Jessica is insanely talented and truly one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met. She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt and I would absolutely go to her for any of my makeup needs in the future.

Jessica is amazing! She did the makeup for 4 of my bridesmaids, my mother, and me, and did an absolutely phenomenal job. Not just one, but several people told me afterward that they thought it was the best makeup job they've ever seen. Not only did Jessica make us all beautiful, but she was a pleasure to be around during the process. Even though she had another obligation the day of my wedding, she never rushed any of us. She was professional and incredibly sweet. I highly recommend her for anyone who wants to be the most beautiful they've ever been on their wedding day.

I am so grateful to have had Simply Elegant Beauty work with me for my wedding day. Jessica was booked solid, but offered a trial with America. (I had so many trials before this & was now 2 months from my wedding, eek!!) I was so stressed, but as soon as I met America, my nerves calmed down. She is so down to earth & welcoming! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her work, too! She asked me what I preferred & made a few suggestions to help. She gave me the exact look I was going for, for my wedding day. I also did not have to touch up a thing the entire day/night! (Make up finished around 11am & ceremony wasn't until 5:30pm.) America also did make up for my mother & 7 bridesmaids. Jessica and America are both absolutely phenomenal and professional. I was a little late to the game finding hair and makeup artists, so I didn't have high hopes and when I arrived to Jessica's home/studio for the trial, my expectations were blown out of the water. Jessica's studio is cosy, CLEAN and inviting. Jessica was booked that day, so she had one of her make up artists, America, do my trial and it was a great experience. They listened to what I said, looked at the pictures I brought, and gave me advice (i didn't really know what i wanted except that I wanted it to be natural). Even though Jessica would not be doing my makeup, she stayed for the whole thing and gave her input and guidance as needed. That was huge for me - it showed her professionalism that she cared and wanted the best for me even though she wasn't doing it herself. On the day of the wedding, America was on time, super friendly and easy going. Her makeup skills are flawless. She does not rush at all, but manages to keep everyone on schedule at the same time. For someone who doesn't wear makeup regularly, I was a little nervous that I'd feel over done. But it was perfect. America understood that and made me feel beautiful and like myself. Finally, I should mention that my mother was so thrilled with her make up - and that is no easy feat! Like me, she never wears makeup so she was a little nervous too. She looked beautiful and she was so happy! Thank you America and Jessica for being awesome and making everyone look great and feel comfortable!

Jessica is the best!!! She did an amazing job. Jessica was friendly and professional. She really listened to what I wanted and studied my inspiration pics. I asked for a natural look and I was more than pleased. My photographer even complimented my make up! Jessica is very versatile as well. I had a large group with varying ages and styles. Jessica is a makeup genius!! I have had her do my makeup for multiple events. She is nice and personable and makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. Jessica is one of the kindest, sweetest, most talented people I know! Jessica is a gifted artist. She is amazing with her color palette for faces. My trial makeup in the spring was perfect! My skin tanned of course by summer and she was quick to adapt the perfect shades on my wedding day. Her work is impeccable and she has such patience for us crazy brides! Love her!
