money selling a wedding dress. If our group was throwing wedding dresses on the floor in the bathroom and also throwing them at her salespeople at the same time, she would have called the cops on us. She even gave herself a 5 star review on Google so that review was reported as a conflict of interest since she owns the business. She's lost quite a bit of business by treating people like garbage. I left her business and went to Michelle's Bridal and Tuxedo in Champaign and bought myself a dress that was $850. We bought 4 dresses at Michelle's and I highly recommend their business. They worked us in and stayed open later than usual for our business.

I called back & talked to Lydia, & she agreed that 2 hours would be a good timeframe for 4 people to look at dresses. When we got to the shop at our appt time, we were told that they sold all but 10 of their bridesmaid dresses to a shop in Colorado & they had a VERY limited selection of dresses. To make the most of our time, we had my MOH start trying prom dresses on b/c I wanted her in a gold dress anyways. Lydia did not help my sister get into any dresses & left us to our own devices. About an hour into the appt, my friend was walking over with another dress for my sister to try on when she was approached by the shop owner & told that our appt was over. She accused us of "playing in her prom dresses" without the intention of buying a dress. She also said my sister was not going to wear a prom dress in my wedding. After this experience, I can no longer see myself in the dress that I said 'yes' to from Simply Elegant by Cheri. This was truly such a mortifying experience & really showed the true colors of the owner & her intentions. She lost my business completely. I will never tell anyone to go to this bridal shop. After being treated like crap on the bottom of the owners shoe, we walked out, drove to Champaign, & bought FOUR dresses from a bridal shop there AND my sister is wearing a prom dress to my wedding.
