We eloped and had a small cake made. It was a beautiful! We traveled 10 hours with it and it had no issues whatsoever. It also tasted amazing!
Our wedding was 3-15-24. The taste of the cake itself was amazing. My wife and I went with a classic white cake with vanilla bean frosting. Also, the delivery was very timely.

issue with our cake was that the upper portion of the design/formwork, as well as the texture, was way off from the inspiration photos we presented. We were never given any heads up that the cake we received would vary in appearance to the degree that it did.
We intentionally chose a very contemporary, minimal, and simply designed cake, and we were severely shocked, confused, and let down at the results.
A number of individuals at our wedding ridiculed the cake itself, as it sat directly adjacent to the bride/groom dinner table.
We reached out in order to get some kind of explanation as to why the execution was so far off, and unfortunately we were ghosted with no response whatsoever.
We intentionally chose Simply Frosted because of our love and support for small Black businesses; we were greatly disheartened with what we received.
Please see the inspiration photo given to Simply Frosted, and what was provided to us attached below.

Mackenzie was the most thoughtful kind person ever. I gave her a few ideas and she ran with it. I was in awe the day of my wedding to see how beautiful my cake looked. Mackenzie’s ...

absolute awe once I saw it! The flavor was everything and more; the guests were quick to tell me how amazing the cake was. Highly recommend and we will be working with her again.
I have hired Mackenzie in the past, to make custom cake jars with my company logo. She made 150 of them, packed them on ice, drove them from Harrisburg, PA to Cleveland, made sig...
ns to distinguish the different flavors and set them up. She is creative and professional. Her smile and personality is only shadowed by her amazing baking skills!
