Nick and I chose all of our vendors based on how we connected with them, and if you’re looking for a photographer Melanie is SIMPLY amazing! Her and her second shooter (her husband...
) were incredible. You could truly feel the love not only between us but them as well and it’s incredible!! Everything from our initial engagement photos to the very first wedding, my older sisters, that I met Melanie at was just so easy. You never feel like you are fake laughing or smiling, we were genuinely laughing the entire time. (Also the perfect dip must be practiced!!) If you are looking for someone to capture all of your precious moments you should consider Simply Mella Photography! I can’t wait to have her capture our future family as we grow and share all that our future life has to offer with her!
Melanie is amazing! We planned our entire wedding from out of state, so having a photographer who was so easy to work with and flexible was the best! I could tell from the first mo...
ment we spoke on the phone that Melanie loves her job and has all of her bases covered. She responds to emails in record time, answering each one as though you've been friends for years! Our first time meeting Melanie was on our wedding day, and she fit right in. She worked fast and efficiently, putting everyone completely at ease. My husband and I decided not to do a first look which meant all group and couple shots would be done after the ceremony. I thought the pictures would take forever, but we were done in less than an hour and even got to enjoy a beverage with our guests before everyone made their way inside for dinner! There were cows at our venue and I had mentioned that I was hoping to get a picture with them, but they were nowhere to be found. At sunset, Melanie discretely pulled us outside for pictures because the cows had emerged! It's that attention to her surroundings that makes her such a great photographer. A couple days after the wedding I was shocked to see that Melanie had already edited and posted a "Sneak Peek" of our wedding photos. They were incredible. I'm so happy we worked with this extraordinary photographer!
Choosing a photographer was the one vendor I was most stressed about. Thankfully during an clinical rotation, Melanie was recommended to me. As soon as I saw her photography style ...
I knew it was exactly what I was looking for! She is the sweetest person to work with and I loved having her and her husband being part of our day. One of my favorite things about her, is her ability to make you feel at ease when you are getting photographed.
I cannot say enough about Melanie. I learned about her through my sister-in-law. As soon as I came across her photography, I fell in love. I love the way she makes the photos look ...
vintage-like. She has an incredible eye for photography and I am so glad we hired her for our wedding. From our engagement shoot, to the morning of the wedding, she made taking pictures so easy. I am not a person who likes to map out all the pictures I needed to take on my wedding day, instead we kind of just went with the flow and it worked out really well. Melanie had great ideas on poses and took amazing candid photos as well. Her husband Vinny was our 2nd photographer and did our photo booth. They are certainly an amazing dynamic duo! I am looking forward to using Melanie for other family photo/portraits in the future. Perhaps maternity and newborn photos within the next couple years.. we shall see! Thank you Melanie and Vinny!!! :)
