We had an amazing experience learning our first dance with Lisa! From our very first lesson, she gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions and choreographed a routine that perfectly matched our skill level. She made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way, and each lesson was fun and enjoyable. Lisa created a choreography that fit our song beautifully. It felt elegant, natural, and truly reflected us as a couple. We had so much fun learning it, and performing it on our wedding day was an unforgettable experience. Our first dance ended up being one of the highlights of our reception. So many of our friends and family came up to us afterward and told us it was the most beautiful first dance they had ever seen. Several guests even said they were emotional while watching us dance, which was the biggest compliment we could have received. Her lessons are very reasonably priced, and the studio’s convenient location with plenty of parking made everything even easier. We can’t recommend Lisa enough to anyone looking for a first dance instructor. Thank you for helping us create such a special memory and making our wedding day even more unforgettable!

Lisa was so amazing to work with for our first dance for our wedding. Welcome to Simply Social Dancing. I am an independent dance instructor in North Jersey. I offer group classses, private lessons, and dance events in the area. I have worked extensively with wedding couples on their first dance. You do not need to be experienced dancers to have a beautiful dance. Together we will create a dance perfect for the two of you. You choose the music. Then we build the dance, keeping only the movements that suit the two of you. You will have a dance that is natural and comfortable.

I am the owner and instructor for Simply Social Dancing. I have extensive training and experience in social dancing. As a child, I studied ballet and modern dance. In my twenties, I discovered partner dancing. I have taught for several studios in New York. Now I offer my own classes and privates lessons in Bergen County NJ. Social dancing is a natural form of communication between a man & woman. It is meant for all to enjoy! Because we know you have rhythm in your soul, And your heart wants to dance....

create our own dance. She was so patient and kind with us and I couldn't believe how much fun we had in the process! Her prices are also very reasonable compared to some other studios. Everyone loved our dance and we are still getting compliments after the wedding, and it is all thanks to Lisa! Definitely recommend and we hope to take some more dance lessons in the future!

first but once we scheduled our first lesson it was no problem at all. She even reached out when she had a cancellation so we could fit more lessons in! My husband is less comfortable on the dance floor and she was able to discuss with him what his challenges were and how to overcome them. She's completely professional, caring and a great teacher!

tango I’ve been dreaming to do as our first dance bc we were so short on time.. I almost gave up looking at my stiff husband struggling to learn the most basic steps for the first time.. I thought this was not ganna work and almost changed my mind to just do the typical rock back and forth and bore the crowd.. But Lisa encouraged us so much and pushed us to stick with tango and with her positive attitude we were indeed able to learn a whole song in 3 days! I want to thank her so much for leading us to accomplish something that seemed nearly impossible! If you’re a bride like me who procrastinated to learn your first dance but still want it to look legit, just trust Lisa and she will work her magic.

Lisa did a great job figuring out which steps we would find most comfortable and putting together a dance we could pull off. We also truly enjoyed learning with her and looked forward to our lessons. I would highly recommend her if you want to have a great experience learning something with your significant other and have a memorable first dance at your wedding!

d kind, and willingly worked with our work schedules to be able to fit 10 dance lessons before our wedding. When we decided on a song, Lisa gave us dance instructions and worked with us to create a choreographed dance. She was honest and made sure that our dance was exciting for our guests to watch, yet simple enough for us to complete and enjoy. As true beginners in any kind of dancing, we would practice on our own time so we can continually make improvements with each lesson. Lisa always had the best interest for us and explained the formations patiently and was very easy to get along with. We decided to take dance lessons not only to entertain our guests, but we also wanted to share in this dance experience together as a couple. We are truly grateful to have found Lisa and for her participation for such an important day of our lives! Our family and friends were surprised and happy watching our successful performance at our wedding and we cannot thank Lisa enough for helping us have the extra "wow" factor in our day!

Lisa is the best! My husband absolutely hates dancing of any kind and Lisa made us look great! She was so easy going and understanding in what we wanted and needed. The three of us...

clicked instantly! I was so nervous about having to have that first dance with my husband... I thought for sure that my toes would get stepped on and my dress would rip from me stepping on it in my high heels. She prepared us enough that we looked fantastic on our wedding day. It was a fun and elegant dance... I never thought my husband could ever move his feet like that. Our guests really enjoyed the dance as well. Everyone was surprised... especially my mother, she was so happy to see what we had learned during our lessons and was thoroughly impressed! Cheers to Lisa! wedding dance after a bit of a disaster at another dance studio. She was very accommodating with fitting us into her schedule at the height of wedding season. She took us from feeling stressed and anxious about dancing to calm and confident in just two dance sessions. You get one hour of absolute privacy and the entire dance studio to yourself. Their are other dance studios that have multiple lessons going on at the same time on the same dance floor but that is not the case with Lisa. You have her undivided attention for the full hour of every lesson. She also has a way of teaching challenging dance moves to even the most inexperienced dancers and makes it feel easy. We are so lucky to have been introduced to Lisa and I know our wedding dance will be a memorable experience for many years to come. Thanks Lisa, ~Victoria and Molly

dancer and she was absolutely amazing. Her professionalism, expertise, and warmth made our experience wonderful. She knew what types of things would work for what we were asking for and was open to our input and ideas. The lessons were significantly cheaper than other places and it was one on one lessons. This experience was truly memorable and made us get even closer and helped my hubby become confident for our wedding dance. Thanks to Lisa we figured out he is actually quite skilled:)! She pointed things out to us that the untrained eye would never catch, and because of this our dance was perfect! We absolutely recommend her services- you will not be disappointed!
