Maria played as a soloist during our ceremony. She was wonderful and so nice leading up to the event. She was very responsive when messaging. She played beautifully at our ceremony and it gave us all the feels that we had imagined. We got married in 2021 but I realized I hadn’t posted a review when I recently recommended her to a friend for their wedding, so I had to post! Thank you Maria and simply strings for such a loved memory.

Simply Strings did an incredible job playing at our wedding ceremony. They were so easy to work with from the very beginning and they have an amazing song list. "Can't Help Falling in Love" is an important song to me and my husband, and they played it beautifully as I was walking down the the aisle. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the ceremony was, and Simply Strings played a huge role in that. Thanks again!

Simply Strings did an amazing job playing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour a few weeks ago. The music was absolutely beautiful and elegant, it was the perfect touch. Our guests were raving about the music during cocktail hour -- they played exactly what we were looking for, and they truly elevated the evening. Maria was great to work with as well, through our many date pushes during COVID, she was accommodating and easy to work with. I wish we had another event coming up so we could hire them again, highly recommend!

Beautiful. Played exactly what was asked. Ceremony was perfect and the highlight of our night. Came out in the rain, cold and wind and managed to play in tune! Requested song brought me to tears.

Simply Strings provided the most wonderful music for our ceremony. They were also key for picking the perfect music our guests would listen to while they were waiting for the ceremony to start and after we had exited. Very easy to communicate with and a great addition to our perfect wedding day.

Simply Strings is the best String Quartet around! They recently played at my wedding at Kirkpatrick Chapel in New Brunswick and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are all top notch professional musicians and they delivered a truly stellar performance. My guests were raving about them the rest of the day. We hired a duo (violin and cello along with a singer) from Simply Strings to play at our church reception for our wedding on October 18th. They were absolutely wonderful!!!! Maria was great to work with. She answered emails quickly and we spoke on the phone to decide which songs to play for the ceremony. She was so sweet and had great suggestions! Our church was on the smaller side and the duo with the singer was absolutely perfect. So many people commented how beautiful the music was. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful music for any event, especially a wedding!!

For ceremony musicians we were looking for a trio with experience and an eclectic songlist. We found that and more with Simply Strings. Maria Ramsay, violinist and coordinator, was easy to work with and answered all our music-related questions. My Husband and I took one look at the songlist and thought that the only problem would be having to choose from all these great selections. Thankfully, Simply Strings had two of our must-plays already on their repertoire. Sweet Child of Mine, which I entered to, and the Game of Thrones theme, which we exited to. They also accommodated two special requests for Arcade Fire and Indiana Jones. In the end our only regret was that we were too busy mingling to hear more of their music but the compliments we heard from guests confirmed that we made the right choice with Simply Strings.

Simply beautiful as well as affordable , constructing our play list was easy and they had a vast selection of songs. We chose Disney songs and were delighted that they could play them for us. Thank you for making our wedding even better with your music

Simply Strings made my wedding ceremony simply magical. Maria was so easy to work with and the trio even learned a song that was outside of their repertoire, Dreams by the Cranberries, that I walked down the aisle to. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music leading up to and during the ceremony was. This was absolutely some of the best money that we spent on our wedding.

We had Simply Strings perform during our wedding ceremony and reception at the Mansion at Natirar. Maria was such a professional and highly responsive throughout the entire preparation leading up to the wedding. I requested special music for our ceremony, and Maria was able to deliver. We also had a good friend sing at our wedding, and Maria flawlessly accompanied our friend. More importantly, she made sure to make the appropriate arrangements to rehearse with my friend before the ceremony so that everyone (including me) was comfortable and able to perform beautifully at the ceremony. Guests were raving about how beautiful the music was during the ceremony.....Simply Strings was simply elegant.

LOVED them. Very talented and professional group of musicians. They set the tone during my ceremony. They provide a long list of songs to chose from to set the exact right mood. Definitely go with the 4 (as opposed to 3 or less) because the sound is fantastic. I enjoyed them and my guests have all said my ceremony was beautiful.

What a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour was provided by Simply Strings for our daughter’s wedding. They were very accommodating given the weather conditions and the couples’ desire to have an outdoor ceremony. Fortunately the rain held off and all was well. I highly recommend Simply Strings! We hired a duet for our outdoor wedding ceremony in June. Maria was great to work with and incredibly professional. The entire experience was stress free. Simply Strings were perfect for our wedding ceremony. I had a few specific songs that I wanted played, and Maria and the group were able to accommodate! They sounded perfect and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!

We used Simply Strings for our wedding reception for a full 4 hours, and they were a huge hit for our guests, playing a variety of music from classical to contemporary pop music that even got guests to the dance floor! Honestly an amazing performance, and also professional and flexible. Great communication from beginning to end! The only thing that could be improved is that they played the wrong version of our specially requested first dance song (even though we sent the sheet music and was triple checked in the weeks leading up to the wedding day to play the particular version we were getting a first dance choreography for), so we had to improvise our first dance which was a little stressful in the moment, but we were luckily able to pull it off without anyone knowing. It honestly didn't affect the overall night, since they were so good, and they still get 5 stars overall and a full recommendation from me for all wedding/reception needs! LOVE THEM.

I've been to weddings with string players and thought they were beautiful, but nothing could prepare me for Simply Strings. They may be the main reason I was a blubbering mess down the aisle because their performance struck me right down to my core. I cannot recommend them enough. I was a ballerina in my younger years (a long, long time ago) so I knew that the *one* thing I really wanted to have at our wedding was a strings quartet. I found Simply Strings (and Maria!) online, and honestly, am so glad that I did. Maria was incredibly responsive from the very beginning, and helped tailor the most magical ceremony and cocktail hour music selection that we could have ever dreamed of. I must've spent over an hour poring over their expansive repertoire list, which spans a wide range of genres and song types. You won't be disappointed-- live music is so beautiful and everyone deserves it on their wedding day.

We absolutely LOVED our decision in working with Maria and Simply Strings for our wedding. It was a very simple process working with Maria. It was awesome to support a fellow Rutgers Alum (NJ) as both my fiance and I both graduated from Rutgers. They have a LONG list of songs from different genres to choose from. We didn't realize we would have so many options and were so happy to have them. After hearing different songs on YouTube, my fiance and I selected songs that felt both different from any other wedding we've attending, and also the most personalized to us. I walked down the aisle to a song by Enya...all 4+ of our song choices (for the Grooms party, parents, Bridal party, and my father and me) felt just right.
