I’m so happy my wedding venue participated with this bakery for my wedding. I come here to get cupcakes throughout the year, so I was very excited that Simply Sweet handled my wedding cake. The tasting was so much fun! I didn’t realize how full you can get from trying the different flavors pairing with the different fillings. My sweet tooth craving was fulfilled that day. The process of ordering the cake was very easy. I picked 3 different flavors for each tier. Emailed a picture of what I wanted it to look like. They delivered the day of the wedding with no problems. I received feedback from my guests of how yummy the cake was. I was so happy how it turned out! Thank you so much!

We used Simply Sweet for our 9/17/22 wedding and oh my gosh, best decision we made! We got cupcakes and a small cake, which turned out beautiful and extremely tasty. There are so many flavors and the staff was very helpful when we came in for our tasting. As someone who is not a huge cake fan, I could not stop eating the cupcakes!

We had a great experience using Simply Sweet cupcakes for our 9/17/22 Linwood CC Wedding! From start to finish, Connie made the whole process super simple, stress-free, and FUN. We knew we had our decision from the second we walked into our tasting – so many flavors to sample, books/pictures to look through for inspiration, and expert guidance from Connie! She was able to help us choose our flavors, make suggestions, and even worked with me to pull off a surprise Star Wars cake for my husband. We went with a two-tiered cake (we wanted to display our personalized cake topper and also have something to cut) and an assortment of cupcakes. From the second we walked in the door for our tasting and saw those cupcakes, my husband and I were sold. For our wedding we wanted a small cutting cake and INTERSETING cupcakes for the rest of our guests. Simply Sweet's flavor variety is unmatched to all other bakeries in the area so we gave them a call and scheduled a tasting. The tasting was amazing, Gina listened carefully to what we wanted and walked us through all they had to offer, answering our questions along the way. The cupcakes we tried that day were incredible, so incredible that we hired them on the spot and placed our order. We went back several times since that tasting just to sooth our craving... When the big day came the delivery went smoothly and was right on time. The cake and cupcakes looked great and tasted even better. Sadly, our guests liked them so much that there were no leftovers for us... I highly recommend Simply Sweet if you are looking for delicious baked goods cooked by true professionals.

I want to give a big shout out to simply sweet cupcakes. On 1/29/22 we had our wedding reception scheduled at Linwood country club. Well a big winter storm cancelled it. Simply sweet cupcakes had already delivered 100 delicious cupcakes to the venue. We had to reschedule for 2/12/22. They were so gracious. They remade all of the cupcakes for us. I highly recommend them to everyone. 1. They didn't charge for the 1st delivery and 2. The cupcakes were the best we ever had. Don't hesitate from ordering from them you will be so satisfied. The get a 10 from me.

I had my wedding at Greate Bay and they have a contract with Simply Sweet which are AMAZING. Their cupcakes are huge and beyond delicious. All my guests loved them. Bring people with you on your taste testing because the cupcakes are huge.

OMG if I could live solely on eating their cake I would in a heartbeat - it was PHENOMENAL!!! I even thought the wedding cake was better than the cupcakes at the tasting - so fresh, flavorful, and it looked perfect! Everyone raved about the almond flavor - and, of course, the edible glitter! Gina and Jacquelin were both super friendly and easy to work with - providing great suggestions and pictures to help us pick the perfect wedding cake. I could not be happier that I found them for our special day!

My wedding venue included a cake from Simply Sweet and I am SO glad it did! Our cake was amazing! My only regret was not taking more home for myself! The guests loved it!

Everyone raved about the cupcakes and how great they tasted. Simply Sweet was able to accommodate my wedding last minute as our venue had switched bakeries. They baked 6 different flavors for me as well as a cake topper. I can't thank them enough for making my wedding so sweet.

They made my wedding cake last week and it was beautiful!!! I had a naked cake with fresh fruit and it was everything I envisioned. The cake was so delicious. Working with the bakery was so fun and easy. I am obsessed and will be back any time I am in the area.

DELICIOUS!! We ordered a small cake and a cupcake tower from Simply Sweet for our wedding. Everything was soooo delicious! And the staff who work there are incredibly friendly & knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding if you are in the area!

If you want the best cupcakes and cake you've ever had in your life, I highly recommend. I knew I wanted wedding cupcakes from the very beginning. We had to do the taste test during the pandemic, where she made us a batch, we drove to pick it up, and when we ate them at home while wedding planning, I knew right then we could stop looking for bakeries. My planning team were asking for other flavors to try, so she let us do a second cupcake tasting with different flavors from their website. These cupcakes are so good, that I would drive out to order and pick up cupcakes even for non tastings. For the wedding cupcakes, we asked for 6 flavors, ALL of which were devoured by the wedding guests the day of even though we had less guests show up than expected. They threw in an 8 inch cake for free and it was delicious. The marble design and bacon roses turned out stunning! Although, I thought the cake would be displayed on top of tiers of the cupcakes like we discussed, so I was a little disappointed to come in to the reception hall and there's just the cake sitting on the table alone. My venue staff told me all the cupcakes were in the back. My venue made sure all the guests had cupcakes though come dessert time. And people had seconds and thirds and commented on how delicious they were. I was a little conflicted writing this review. I wanted to give 5 stars because of all the work Simply Sweet and Gina put in to make the wedding sweets happen. I then wanted to give 4 stars because of the misstep with the cupcake tiers at the wedding, I really was expecting a nice big impressive display. But then I had to go back up to 5 stars because the taste of the cupcakes are so good, that I already know I'll be coming back as a regular customer and buy these for any events in the future. They're just that good.

We love Simply Sweet Cupcakes! We had to do our cake tasting during Covid times so it was a little different then the usual. We picked up 6 cupcakes, all amazing, and brought them home. We decided on banana nut and triple chocolate, both won’t disappoint. Sent over some pictures in an email and the cake was beautiful! They put some gold flakes on it absolutely stunning. Everyone said the cake was fabulous

Simply Sweet Cupcakes was a vendor that was already included with our package thru Ron Jaworski Blue Heron Pines venue and we couldn't have been happier with that. They helped in making my groom's cake a surprise for my husband and made sure that during our tasting that we tried everything and were happy in our selections.

We had simply sweet cupcakes make our cake for our vow renewal and it was amazing! I had a vision for a rustic cake and they nailed it. It was gorgeous and of course delicious. We were able to get 3 different flavors for our cake and they went so quickly. I love how their flavors are unique too! Thank you again for the perfect cake.. highly recommend.

The business’ name perfectly suits them! My now husband and I loved working with the team at Simply Sweet Cupcakes. After learning they were winners of “Cupcake Wars” we knew we were in good hands. At our cake tasting, it was incredibly hard narrowing our choices down. We ended up picking six different flavor for our wedding guests. The cupcake tower they set up for us was simply breathtaking and elegant. Our guests were so pleased with the variety of options, but could also not stop raving about how delicious their cupcakes were. I feel honored that Simply Sweet Cupcakes designed our delicious wedding cupcakes, making our magical day even more sweet.

Simply Sweet is the way to go! During our initial tasting, the staff provided us with everything that we needed to pick out a perfect summer wedding cake. Even if a flavor or combination was not a part of their initial lineup, they provided us with a sample so that we could taste every flavor we wanted and helped to guide us to our eventual choice in a delicious almond cake with raspberry filling. Although we had a fairly simple design, they created a beautiful four-tier cake, while also designing a golf ball themed groom’s cake! All of our guests loved the cake and design and we could not imagine an easier process for our wedding cake!

I knew I wanted to use Simply Sweet for my wedding from the first time I had their cupcakes! They do cupcakes AND regular cakes. They did a very special, custom cake for my rehearsal dinner and a cupcake tower plus a small cake for my husband and I to cut at the reception. All were beautiful, delicious, and a hit with my guests. The owner and staff are so sweet and professional and great to work with. They are my go-to for every event. A word of advice - when you go for your tasting, bring maybe 2 or 3 more people with you! You get like 6 (I think) cupcakes to try, full-size cupcakes! They have wide selection of flavors so you will have something for everyone at your wedding. They are the best!

Simply Sweet's cupcakes are truly the best! When we went there for a tasting we fell in love. With the edible glitter they look almost to pretty to eat! We chose a cupcake tower with a small cake on top and picked holiday flavors/toppings for our Christmas wedding. The presentation was beautiful and the cake was delicious! Our guests raved about how good the cupcakes were. If you want a lovely wedding cake that's reasonably priced, I highly recommend Simply Sweet as your baker. We can't wait for our first anniversary to buy a replica cake from them to celebrate!

Our cake was the most unique, beautiful and delicious wedding cake we, and based on all the compliments, our wedding guests have ever had!!!! We had a three-tiered naked cake. The bottom and top layers chocolate and the middle layer vanilla. It was iced perfectly and they even sprinkled edible glitter subtly over the whole cake!!!!! It was stunning! But the best part was that it tasted just as good at is looked. Top tier was chocolate-cayenne (an experiment that seriously paid off) the middle was peanut butter and jelly and bottom was raspberry. It was INCREDIBLE! All of our guests raved about it! So thankful that Simply Sweet Cupcakes listened to everything we requested and delivered an absolutely heavenly cake to our wedding! We got married at Blue Heron Pines Country Club on September 2nd and a wedding cake was included in our package. We decided to go with a cupcake tower instead of a cake. We went for our tasting and the ladies at Simply Sweet were SO sweet!! They let us try so many cupcakes and let us take some home. All the cupcakes were SO delicious!! The peanut butter chocolate fudge cupcakes were literally the best we have ever had. I even called a few weeks before and made some changes and they were so accommodating! All of our guests raved about the cupcakes. We brought them home and even ate them for breakfast the next day!

I've had their cupcakes before, they were amazing, the staff is helpful and will accommodate any order. Eating at the shop has become a monthly thing for me and i'm so excited to have them make my wedding cake. I've seen the cakes they made for other weddings and it blew me away! Can't wait!!!!

My wife and i have attended 4 weddings this year. All 4 weddings had amazing wedding cakes from simply sweet. This cup cake shop if loaded with talent! From the custom cake designs to the classic orcustom flavors these ladies know what theyre doing. After seeing and tasting the cakes at the weddings we attended the wige and i stopped in to see what they offer other than wedding cakes. Thats when we seen the ladies behind the cakes. They are a riot!the way they interact with each other as well as the customers....even tho their cup cakes and wedding cakes are second to none, the show you get while inside the shop is hilarious! Keep up the amazing work ladies. You have a customer for life!

This is the best bakery I have ever been to. Not only was my experience fun but the variety of cakes I got to choose from was outstanding! In the end of our cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted delicious! Our guests are still talking about it today! Thank you Simply Sweet Cupcakes you rock!

Not only does Simply Sweet make some absolutely amazing and delicious cakes but the people themselves are outstanding. At our wedding cake consultation, one of the owners learned that my husband loved carrot cake (not exactly a normal wedding cake choice). She immediately offered to bring him a half dozen carrot cake cupcakes to our wedding for free - just so he could have his favorite cake that day despite it not making the cut as a flavor for our wedding cake. In short, choosing Simply Sweet as your baker means not only will you be fighting the urge to finish every single bite of cupcake at your tasting because of how delicious the cakes they make are, you will also be adding a top notch, caring vendor to your wedding team.

Loved working with SSC!! So affordable, free delivery to our venue and delicious cake! We had a small cake that only fed about 45pp and it was perfect since our venue was already providing an array of desserts. You don't need a huge cake, people! It was 2 tier and so beautiful. We also did a grooms cake that was the Phish donut pattern (to surprise the husband) and they did a fantastic job executing an unusual request! Thank you!

We had a three tier wedding cake made for our June 11,2017 wedding and it was amazing! Everyone that had a slice kept raving about the taste, freshness, and the filling in the middle! The people that helped us with the tastings were amazing and patient in our indecision of picking the perfect flavors! We could not have picked a better bakery to make our dream cake! So happy we will most likely be back for birthday cakes and other events sometime soon! :)

Simply Sweet Cupcakes was an awesome choice for my wedding. Looking through their previous cakes online, I found one that I loved and knew was the perfect cake for us! We had an opportunity to taste all of their cake and filling choices and were able to build the perfect taste to fit the look that I fell in love with. Then on the day of the event, they did not disappoint! We received countless compliments on how beautiful the cake was and how delicious it was. Overall, great experience!

As an avid baker, I knew exactly what I was looking for! My husband and I got married in Ocean City on July 17. Simply Sweet Cupcakes was the perfect, affordable bakery for our beach wedding. We met with Gina and Jacque two times prior to our wedding for tastings. Understanding they won "Cupcakes Wars", my expectations were high. However, my experience was even better than I expected! Simply Sweet Cupcakes offered us a variety of delicious flavors, yummy icing, and fillings. They created our glittery sandcastle cake with two tiers: chocolate peanut butter and almond cake with raspberry filling. It was also covered in glittery chocolate seashells. Under this cake was our tower of 80 cupcakes with colorful buttercream, luster dust, chocolate shells, and starfish (chocolate raspberry, vanilla with raspberry filling, chocolate peanut butter, and almond cake with raspberry filling). They were so professional and delivered punctually. I was able to contact them whenever I needed to, and they even helped me plan a secret Abbey Road Beatles themed groom's cake for my husband with his favorite flavors. If you are a bride or groom looking for cupcakes and gorgeous as they are delicious, Simply Sweet Cupcakes is perfect for you! I am still receiving compliments on our amazing cake and cupcakes!!

Our cake was included with our package at Atlantic City Country Club. It was perfection!!! Four tiers of four different delicious flavors and a beautiful anniversary cake to save! The tasting was fabulous and they customized everything to meet our requests. They were a pleasure to work with and we received so many compliments on our cake!!

Simply Sweet Cupcakes is absolutely amazing. First of all incredibly delicious with unique flavor options but the staff is so friendly and talented ! Simply Sweet did my bridal shower cake, wedding cake, and grooms cake. All which were equally beautiful, well done, and incredibly delicious. I have to say my favorite was the groom's cake. Our wedding cake was included in our wedding package at the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club. We did work the bakery independently! They are absolutely fantastic. We had a falling out with our first venue down in Galloway and then discovered our new venue which was the blue heron pines. We asked them who their bakery was and that led us to simply sweet cupcakes! I called and asked if I was able to come down and try some stuff! Not only did they allow me to do so, they took the time to ask how I wanted my wedding cake. They had it prepared in cupcake form for me the next day! Extremely accommodating and helpful! My family and I have gone down numerous time throughout out planning process for cupcakes! Needless to say our wedding cake was absolutely amazing and everything we dreamed of! Thank you guys so much!

We had our cake included in a package through Blue Heron Pines but that didn't matter! My husband and I were still able to communicate with the owner personally! We had a delicious tasting and the cake turned out awesome! I felt like they were very helpful and accommodating. They let me drop my cake topper off a week ahead of time so they could add it to the cake :)

Simply Sweet has by far the best cupcakes ever! So of course we decided to get our wedding cake there. Gina and Jackie were extremely personable when we first met with them to discuss what type of cake and design we were looking for. They didn't overcharge us and allowed us to have freedom in choosing different flavors for every layer and a design complimenting our beach theme.
