Lauren delivered an absolutely beautiful cake as promised. I gave her pictures of some ideas I liked and she delivered something even better than I imagined. The cake itself tasted amazing and my guest were looking for more! She also delivered the cake on time as promised.

Look no further because our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! The cake to filling ratio was perfect and the cake portion was so moist and everything just melted in your mouth. The design was exactly what was envisioned, the communication exceeded my expectation, and delivery was exactly on time. From inquiry to tasting and delivery, the whole process was effortless and pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend you use Lauren for any event needing a baker!

Simply Sweets by Lauren provided a gluten free wedding cake for us and it was absolutely perfect! The ordering/selection/design process was easy and Lauren was a dream to work with. She understood the importance of our food allergy and made me feel safe. The final product turned out gorgeous as well as delicious and I would recommend simply sweets to anyone.

I can not say enough about Simply Sweets by Lauren! First, Lauren is so pleasant and easy to work with, no matter how many additions and modifications you have to make. And WOW, her skill set for creating beautiful cakes and baked goods is BEYOND EXCELLENT! Not only does it look incredible but it all tastes amazing! I ordered a customized cake, customized cookies, and French macarons for a bridal shower. My guests were blown away by it all and couldn’t get over how beautiful it looked and how yummy it tasted. They kept asking serval times where we ordered from. Simply Sweets by Lauren is truly a local gem and this is the ONLY bakery I will be ordering from for special occasions/events and birthdays from now on! Thank you Lauren for making our event even more special!

Our cake was INCREDIBLE! Lauren really put her heart and soul into creating a custom cake for us. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted delicious. It was the perfect amount of “sweet” - just like the name of her shop. It truly was ‘Simply Sweet’ ! We really don’t like cakes that are overly sugary and this was perfect. Highly recommend!!!

We contacted Lauren about one month before our wedding (we shifted gears to a small backyard wedding with little time to spare), and she was available, very easy to talk to, kind, organized, thoughtful, and helpful. She suggested a mini, three-tiered cake that would work for a small group of people, but still look like the wedding cake we originally planned for. She also was able to accommodate different flavors in each tier and worked off of photographs of a couple of design and color ideas we had and crafted a very beautiful and delicious cake, we received many compliments from our family in person and via Zoom. Lauren has take-home sampling kits, so we were able to have a cake tasting during a pandemic. The cakes and icings are delicious and the options are numerous. Lauren was also able to deliver the cake to our backyard (in Hillsborough) and set it up, which we were grateful for. We definitely recommend Simply Sweets by Lauren for any event, or day-to-day, dessert needs!

She made my cake black, and it was AMAZING!!!! everyone loved it and it tasted so good!!! Everyone was so impressed with how it looked!!

Lauren was a delight to work with right from the start and she makes the BEST carrot cake I've ever had! She put together a beautiful tasting that immediately made a great impression. She understood what we were asking for in design, she didn't try to force her ideas on us, she promptly responded to emails and could not have been more accommodating when COVID postponed our original date and when it came to scheduling the delivery of our cake. Lauren does retail on Saturday mornings and the shop is adorable and clean and it is always a pleasant experience visiting.

I am so happy that we used Simply Sweets for our wedding day. Lauren was so professional and accommodating . Not to mention, so much fun to work with. She helped my beach theme come together perfectly! I wanted cupcakes and then a cake for my husband and I to cut into. Our first meeting, she brought a big box of sample flavors to try and take home so we could decide what we liked best. It was so hard, because we loved every single one! The flavors were just the beginning. She was in contact with us the whole way as she came up with ideas for designs. The final product was perfect. Everything looked like it came out of a magazine! I have used her for a couple other special occasions since and would And do, recommend SimPly Sweets to everyone!

Simply Sweets by Lauren made custom lace detail sugar cookies and color coordinated macarons for our wedding. The lace detail was all Lauren's idea, and they came out beautifully. I could not have asked for a friendlier or more creative place to create unique treats for my special day. I also have tried almost every sweet she has created. They all are amazingly delicious and you can tell, made with love. I highly recommend checking her studio out. It can't be beat!!!

We were lucky enough to have Lauren provide the delicious cake pops and cake at our wedding in the infancy of her cake making endeavors. They were amazing! Everytime I'm in the area, I have to get some sort of sweet treats from her shop. Her work is extremely creative, and there's not a single thing that I wouldn't recommend. The macs can't be beat and the Cruffins. Definitely get the cruffins.

Simply Sweets is a local bake shop to where I grew up. Due to Covid19, Lauren and I had to do everything via e-mail and video chat. The amount of effort that was made on Lauren's part was far superior than what I expected. We were able to do every single detail, I even dropped off the topper which she displayed on the cake. Not only was this all planned within 3 weeks, the cake was even delivered an hour away at the venue where I got married.

Absolutely LOVED the cake that we received for my daughters First Communion! It looked and tasted GREAT!!!! I will definitely use Simply Sweets again!!!!

Lauren made a delicious gluten free cake for a party I hosted, that everyone LOVED! Not only was the cake delectable but it was beautiful as well.

Lauren made a beautiful Harry Potter cake for my daughter’s sweet 16 party that my daughter loved it so much that she didn’t want to cut it and keep it as a souvenir. It was very easy to work with Lauren to bring something within the price range I wanted. Lauren - thank you so much for making my daughter’s day special with your magical Harry Potter themed cake.
