A lot of bakeries couldn't make a three tiered cake that would feed 130 guests, there would always have to be some kind of combination of tiers and sheet cake, or even part fake cake to make it work. Sin was able to do what we wanted and it tasted better than I ever could have imagined. Funfetti, vanilla buttercream, and raspberry buttercream in the middle. I also love that we don't have to freeze our cake and eat next year, because they schedule a 1 year anniversary cake for you for the following year!

had so much fun at our tasting, and Jen sat down with us to design our cake and explain all our options + her recommendations. We aren't huge cake people when it comes to desserts, but we practically licked our plates clean when sampling their cake and filling/icing flavors. Everything we tried was delicious so it was hard to choose, but we ended up getting their champagne cake with strawberry filling and white buttercream. We just got a smaller 2-tier cake for cake cutting photo-op (probably enough to feed 30-40 people) because we knew we were going to have additional dessert options through our venue and an ice cream truck. Our guests who did try some cake thought it was delicious! Cake + delivery was reasonably priced as far as wedding cakes go, and it includes a complimentary 1-year anniversary cake with the flavors we chose so we don't have to eat year-old frozen cake. Highly recommend Sin to other couples!

was so cool and helpful! We decided to go with the chocolate bourbon with chocolate ganache filling, and white buttercream on the outside, and it was a huge hit! The guests kept commentating on how delicious it was! We ended up doing a two tiered cake for cutting and had sheet cake in the back, which made it super affordable. We also had some gluten free and vegan chocolate cupcakes from them as well and they were also complimented. Overall a great experience!

taste was amazing. Many guest wished for more cake! The design was perfect and the cake tasted amazing. They worked along with my florist Golden Gate, to add all the flower decorations to keep with the theme. I would highly recommend them for any specialty cake!

An opportunity beforehand with a few of our friends to sample, we easily made a diverse selection of 4 mini cupcakes, showcasing the culinary sweetness of Rhode Island while incorporating the season (between Summer and Autumn in our case). So impressed, we also used Sin Desserts for our wedding cake. Providing our wedding colors and design examples beforehand, making both cake, filling and frosting selections, Sin created for us a beautiful, simple, one-tier cake to stand atop the multiple levels of cupcakes. Set up and delivery at our venue, working in tandem with our caterer, Sin did an awesome job. Nearly all the cupcakes consumed, some of our guests clearly taking multiples of just one flavor, we were given rave reviews for both flavor and texture. Our simple cake, outstandingly decadent, so much so that while we got our one slice to enjoy together, our guests obliterated the rest. Not looking to overwhelm but rather make a statement, Sin Desserts is the way to go.

as 11 months away, the staff was kind enough to let us book a tasting with them while my mother-in-law was in town for the holidays. My mother also joined us, and the four of us had a great time trying a variety of cake while my husband and I worked with Keri on a design. Keri made us feel right at home during our tasting, and was extremely helpful. Working with Jennifer regarding the first and final payments and the invoices was a breeze-- everything was spelled out, and she answered all of the questions I had during the process. Sin delivers cakes to venues for a fee, and we opted to do this so we wouldn't worry about transporting it in one of our cars. When we walked into our reception, our cake looked AMAZING, and the cake topper we left with the venue was placed on the top of our cake perfectly. Our guests raved about our cake (Guinness with white raspberry ganache and buttercream frosting). We can't wait to order our complimentary top tier (another awesome perk) for our one year anniversary!

They were drawing a picture of the cake we wanted while we described it to them! None of the other bakeries we went to did that! We got to see first hand what our cake was going to look like. It definitely aided in our decision making. Before the wedding they checked in to verify what we wanted. They were very friendly and cooperative. One of the first things we noticed when we entered the reception hall on our wedding day was the beautiful cake! It was just like we imagined it! We got to take some leftovers home so we had extra chances to really take in the flavor, which was phenomenal! We had sugar flowers on the cake as well and we were worried that they would be too sweet, but they were so dainty and fun to eat! Jennifer worked with us to help make our decisions on flavors and during the tasting, sketched up a design for the small cake to cut as well as what the cupcakes would look like. She made the process so much easier! All of the flavors of cupcakes were delicious, the small cake looked beautiful and our guests loved the cupcakes. We forgot our cake topper and no one even noticed because the design on the cake was so well done. Our venue boxed up our extra cupcakes so we could take them home and they stayed delicious even a few days after the wedding!

The wedding cake tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning (we LOVE sweets), and the way that they do things is so professional. They recommended that if we did a three tier cake, that we make two layers "fake" and have a sheet cake of the actual cake for all of the guests - which worked out perfectly. There was no leftover cake (aside from the top fondant layer that we cut into - we finished almost the rest of it in the hotel room!). They are a great group of people that are so passionate about what they do. I also love how they send you a cake on our first wedding anniversary. They had an amazing selection of wedding cake flavors and frosting flavors. Sin designs beautiful, delicious tasting cakes.

they were very knowledgable about which flavors tasted well with others. They also designed our cake to match our winter wonderland wedding. We had edible glitter and snowflakes all over the cake. It came out so beautifully. Part of their package includes a freshly baked cake for your 1 year anniversary instead of freezing the top layer. My husband and I thought that was such a nice touch!

hat being said, I have celiac's which made it really tough to find places that could bake gluten free cakes and also to find places who had more than just plain vanilla or chocolate. Sin had I believe 6-7 total gluten free flavors!!! My husband was not sold on a GF cake but he couldn't even tell the difference which is amazing. We had so much fun taste testing and creating our "look" and Sin nailed every aspect of it. People at our wedding raved about our delicious spice cake with buttercream frosting. We took our leftovers to our mini moon and ate cake with every meal. Thank you Sin!!!!!

ten Free Red Velvet Cake! We were on a pretty tight budget and only had a small wedding, so we opted for a one tier Red Velvet cake decorated with some simple lilac sugar roses and a lilac ribbon. It was a only a simple design, but very affordable and it looked and tasted fantastic! The cream cheese filling was amazing!! Thank you Sin!

Our guests raved about the cake, and for good reason: it was simply delicious. A special thanks also to the young lady who delivered our cake (her name escapes me). She was very friendly and was nice enough to stay (even though she had already finished assembling the cake) until the florist arrived with the flowers that we wanted to use in the cake. All in all a wonderful experience with an excellent vendor!
