We feel so grateful that Sincerely, Ginger planned our June wedding weekend in Leland, Michigan. Rachel is extremely thoughtful in her approach to the planning and design process. As a bride with a very specific vision for our wedding, I was thrilled to work with a planner who took the time to really understand our aesthetic as a couple, and worked to maximize our budget for the wedding elements that were most important to us. Safe to say, Rachel went ABOVE and beyond what I could have dreamed up for our day. She thought of every detail, both creative and logistical, to make the entire weekend feel cohesive and stress-free. Rachel created the most magical weekend for our family and friends, and made the entire planning process infinitely less stressful (dare I say, fun?). I can't recommend her enough for any event!

We were so incredibly lucky to hear about Sincerely ginger through our photography. They were truly amazing to work with and made the wedding process a breeze! They knew all of the questions to ask + made sure nothing fell through the cracks on our wedding day. I stumbled upon Sincerely, Ginger before I was engaged – my then-boyfriend, parents and I were enjoying a long-weekend up north and, while on a walk through the woods, we quite literally stumbled upon a wedding the SG team was setting up. It was pure magic. When my boyfriend proposed and we began planning our wedding, SG was my first call. During the introductory call, I remember Rachel encouraging me to research other planning services to make sure SG was what I was looking for – as if I hadn’t been low-key social media stalking them since that fateful day in the woods. We worked with Miranda throughout the planning process and I truly can’t put into words how pleased we were. I’m aggressively Type-A, working in public relations/events. I also love everything about weddings and had about 20 different events floating around in my head. I’m highly aware I am a wedding planner’s nightmare – I wanted to be involved but simply didn’t have the time to handle everything. Miranda is perfect – she is incredibly sweet, genuine, thoughtful, creative and calm. She grasped our vision before we could articulate it. She was patient with me, allowing me time to overanalyze details (as was my fiancé, but he picked me and knew what he was getting himself into), and shared her opinions and advice often, which was welcome perspective. We planned our wedding from Chicago and are appreciative that Miranda graciously dedicated more than a handful of her evenings for skype sessions, cleared her schedule to meet with my fiancé and I and my mom and I when we were in town, and answered my millions of bulleted emails thoroughly to put my mind to rest. It drizzled throughout almost the entire rehearsal and wedding day – we had planned to hold the ceremony and cocktail hour outside and reception in the barn on the property, so Miranda quickly and seamlessly brought our outdoor elements in and created a space even more beautiful than I pictured in my mind. I can’t thank Miranda enough – for realizing our vision, for allowing us to focus on the most important piece of our day, our marriage; and for being a wonderful friend at the beginning of one our happiest journeys.

We hired Sincerely, Ginger for day of coordination and our florals/decor. Rachel, Celia and Michele made our event unforgettable! We had an intimate wedding weekend with our parents and best friends. Sincerely, Ginger did our flowers/decor for both our Welcome Dinner and our wedding. Both were amazing! Our wedding day was very relaxing thanks to Celia and Michele's attentiveness and attention to detail. We highly recommend Sincerely Ginger Weddings for planning/coordinationfor your big day. We chose the Coordination Package since we had time and the desire to complete the bigger aspects of planning; vendors, venue, color scheme, theme, etc. SGW's attention to detail, professionalism, creativity and "can-do" attitudes made the weeks prior to, and our wedding day simply perfect. We had our ceremony at the Front Lawn of Mission Table and the reception inside the Peninsula Room in Traverse City. Sarah, our lead planner, is exceptional. We met with her a few times over Google Hangouts since we live in Grand Rapids. In our conversations we locked down day-of details and figured out the ceremony and reception timeline, which party walks down first, when we should do the first dance, whether we needed more candles and mercury votives, how we can save money on rented linens, etc. Anytime we needed to flesh out logistics, Sarah was one step ahead. For example, we wanted to do a wishing lantern send-off toward the end of our reception but hadn't thought of how many lighters to bring. Sarah recommended we buy dozens of lighters - and not just the Bic ones, but the long kitchen kind. Its small details like those that were life-savers! Sarah also took over communicating with our vendors four weeks prior and it was such a stress-relief. She worked out all of the transportation details, welcome bag delivery, reception space setup and ensured every detail and accommodation was met. She even handled sensitive scenarios with our family calmly and professionally. We knew we could count on her, we trusted her immediately. Sarah and Rachel went above and beyond for us the day of our wedding. From the morning of our ceremony to last call, they made sure the day flowed seamlessly. I forgot the belt to my dress and began panicking...no big deal, the SGW team had it covered. The hair floral didn’t get delivered…no problem, SGW was on it! The way the reception area was decorated was like it was out of a movie. It was ethereal, romantic and dreamy. Our theme and decor was woodland inspired. We set the scheme based on our wedding location, the woodsy and elegant Front Lawn of Mission Table overlooking Lake Michigan. My wife Laura and I also have a love for vintage/antique items that include gold and ornate pieces. We chose the color of our bridesmaid dresses first, vintage teal and selected rustic wood, fall floral and metallic gold to be our accents. We had many hand-crafted items; all of our signage was vintage gold mirrors written in hand-lettered calligraphy and a unity braid on reclaimed wood with hand lettered scripture. SGW took heed to our notes (we had all decor labeled in several boxes) but also relied on their own creativity and talent in setting things up. For example, our wedding favors; donut holes in the cutest Kraft paper window bags, were originally supposed to be placed for each guest on the table, but team SGW found that it was too crammed there, so they put it on a table of its own which looked lovely. The extra donut holes were laid out by the bar and our guests loved grabbing a sweet treat with their cocktail! Between the floral, candles, vintage items, and many more pieces of décor…SGW curated the event perfectly and everything looked incredible. Do yourself a favor and book Sincerely Ginger Weddings, it will be one of the best decisions you make!

I was so excited when I ran across Rachel’s website. Truthfully, I was sold on hiring her before we even talked. Her work spoke for itself, as did her sweet sweet way of talking about it! You can’t go wrong hiring Rachel; she’s one of those people you feel like you know and love instantly. Her warmth is just as immediate as her talent to envision exactly what you’re looking for. Rachel helped us in so many ways—I really don’t think we could’ve pulled it off without her. She and her team worked tirelessly on our wedding day and I never heard one complaint. We are from Northwest Ohio but had our hearts set on Northern Michigan for our wedding. After talking to 5 venues and 6 planners/coordinators we were about to walk into the courthouse to be done with it. We found Rachel on a last ditch Google search for Northern Michigan wedding planners and she immediately adopted us. Her and her team (Michelle & Sarah specifically) met with us online every two weeks and helped us knock out every single detail in the easiest way possible. They were great at recommending a venue, vendors and ideas to make our wedding look how we wanted it to. They were diligent in staying on top of us to make sure we did what we were supposed to as far as decisions, but they really did all the rest. On the day of, Michelle and her crew were spot on, there wasn't a single detail that went overlooked and everything happened exactly how we had it thought up. My husband and I live in Cleveland, OH and were both deep in medical school and residency while planning our Northern Michigan wedding. Neither of us were very particular about what we wanted detail-wise, we just knew we wanted to create a memorable experience for our guests. We decided to utilize a wedding planner, and I was SO relieved when I finally came across the Sincerely, Ginger website. Rachel's design style was exactly what I had envisioned: natural, subtle, and genuine. We utilized Sincerely, Ginger for partial planning since we had already booked our venue and most of our vendors. They were so easy to work with through Google hangouts throughout the year, and each meeting with Rachel kept us on track and moving forward. She and her team did all of the hard and time-consuming work, leaving us just to make the decisions. She was a fantastic resource and we felt comfortable heading into our wedding weekend that we had everything covered. Perhaps the best part of working with Sincerely, Ginger was in the final few weeks before our wedding and working with our day-of coordinator Celia and her team. Celia was absolutely OUTSTANDING. I was making to-do lists of everything I still had to do and things I was worried about, but she was already one step ahead of me and had already put out all the fires. I would text or email her during the final week with requests for last-minute details and she made them happen in a snap. She made myself and my family feel comfortable and confident that the wedding day would run smoothly. The day of our wedding we all had such a blast and did not have to worry about a single thing because Celia had it all under control. Her team did an amazing job with the setup and decorations as well as making sure we stayed on schedule, that all of the vendors were taken care of, and that the clean up was done at the end of the night. From the moment that I received a response from Rachel to my inquiry, I knew that she was the event planner (and friend) for me. She is a concept and design master. She nailed my vision to a T. Her planning process is very organized and thorough, and her personable nature and enthusiastic attitude are a dream. The process was truly a joy. After two years in a long distance relationship, my (now) husband and I were planning a wedding in Traverse City. The problem? I lived in Texas, had a demanding job with weird hours, was trying to sell my house and search for a new job back in Michigan. When my now-husband proposed a little over a year ago, I was thrilled beyond belief and immediately went into planning mode. I was the little girl who "designed" wedding dresses in her spare time, and dreamed of her wedding day. I had a clear vision in my head for our day, and never thought I would hire a wedding planner or designer. But after a few weeks of trying to plan on my own, I realized how having a vision for your day, and then actually planning and attaining that vision are two very different things (especially when you want to build a venue from the ground up in the middle of a cherry orchard). Rachel not only took the time to understand the look I desired, but also got to the heart of our day. She figured out what truly mattered most to me, my husband, and our families, and went far beyond a simple vision; she captured the essence of everything we could have hoped for, and put it into fruition. Rachel and her team were not only easy to work with, but made every step of the process easier on us and our families. She is sweet, funny, honest (which is so important), and is a true friend. At the end of the night, when my new husband and I were walking to our car to leave, we turned around, looked back up at the orchard which was gently lit by sparklers held by all the people we love, and we said to each other, "Everything was perfect. That was everything we could have hoped for, and more... And there's no way we could have pulled this off without Rachel and her team!". And now a few months later, we still feel the same way. Rachel and Team did an AMAZING job in the organization, designing, operations planning and styling of the wedding of our dreams. I started working with Rachel a year before our June 2015 wedding and opted for full planning as we live in Metro Detroit and having our wedding Up North we needed extra assistance. Meeting with Rachel for the first time she was so genuine about loving the concept of our wedding theme and was super excited about the ideas we had. It was easy to sign up with Rachel because I knew immediately she would be dedicated to the project, be with us for every step and enjoy working with us. Rachel helped us in the initial planning of vendors and having her coordinate with everyone directly helped immensely. Rachel isn't just a wedding planner, she becomes your go to for all items surrounding the wedding and most importantly she becomes your friend along the way! We worked with Sincerely, Ginger for day of coordination for our spring wedding in Leland, Michigan. Margaret, our coordinator, was fantastic to work with, as were Rachel and the other gals from SGW. Margaret was consistently calm and organized, and kept things moving during the 6 weeks prior to our wedding. She and Rachel had great suggestions for missing pieces in our day and helped to make it seamless. Most importantly, the day of our wedding was beyond perfect. We were hoping for a sunny spring day for May 30th, but instead it was 54 degrees and rainy. Margaret executed our "plan b" in the most perfect way possible and now I can't imagine our wedding any other way. Rain or shine, she and her team were on top of everything.

Rachel totally understood my vision from the first time I spoke with her. She was so organized and always a step ahead of me! I did not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding or in the weeks leading up to it. Rachel and her staff were incredibly organized, professional and fun to be around. Rachel is beyond amazing! She was the first person I met with regarding the wedding and by far the best decision we made! We are based in Los Angeles and were planning a destination wedding in Buchanan, Michigan- I'd only been to the area once and did not know anything about anything. Rachel was our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more. We had our initial meeting over google chat and I knew she would be great- her energy is fantastic and her taste is incredible. She drove over four hours to meet us over the summer before the wedding to see the venue and meet vendors. She also arrived the day before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly with the install (we had to rent every single thing since the wedding was outside at a private home). On the day of the wedding, it poured rain and Rachel handled everything so professionally. She had all the other vendors working their butts off and everything came together beautifully. All of our guests commented on how smooth everything was (of course no one knew how much extra work Rachel had to put in at the last second to make that happen)! We constantly say that hiring Rachel for our wedding day was simply the best decision we made regarding our wedding. My groom and I are young and cost-conscious, so the decision to add a coordinator to the list of vendors was debated, but now we constantly say "what if we didn't?" because Rachel was such an integral part of our day. I met Rachel at one of my best friends wedding, and after spending the day watching Rachel in action I knew she would be the right choice when it became time to plan my own! Where do I begin in describing Rachel’s service to me? In the simplest of words: She is invaluable. Being an organized woman with a background in events, I set out to plan our entire wedding myself. But then it got closer to the big day, and I just couldn't wrap my brain around how I was going to coordinate the day in addition to being the bride! Rachel went above and beyond simple day-of coordinating. She visited my reception venue, helped me determine the best seating arrangements, followed up with all my vendors, and took take of all the last minute details. She even made suggestions on what we could do differently in order to make our wedding vision come to life. Hiring Rachel as my wedding planer was the best thing I did for my wedding. It allowed myself, family,and fiance all to enjoy the planning process. I am a classroom teacher and felt like I had zero time to plan/research and make calls during business hours.Rachel helped tremendously with making calls and keeping us on schedule with the planning process. My daughter was recently married at our lake house in Petoskey, Michigan. Rachel Moger from Sincerely Ginger Weddings provided wedding planning for our event. Soon after my daughter got engaged in October 2013, Rachel was involved in all aspects of the wedding. From helping to pick a site to finding vintage wine boxes the day before the wedding, Rachel was our go-to-gal for every detail. She provided us with an organized and detailed time line for making decisions. Nothing was left to chance or last minute craziness. Her calm demeanor was a Godsend during small dramas. Since I live primarily downstate and the wedding was at our lake home 250 miles north I couldn't have enjoyed the pre-wedding planning more with Rachel doing all the leg work. She provided us with experienced professional vendors and the follow up with these people we left to Rachel. The wedding day was perfect in each and every detail with Rachel overseeing my daughter and son-in-law's vision of their special day. She simplified the experience for us this being my oldest daughter's wedding and I will certainly employ Rachel again for my other two children's weddings. Don't let her youth fool you, Rachel knows her stuff and she can pack a measured wallop if things don't get done. As the mother of the bride my experience of the wedding was absolute wonder at how happy and excited we all were. Thanks to Rachel we were able to enjoy the day as if we were special guests. Brava!

Rachel from Sincerely, Ginger Weddings was amazing to work with. My wife and I were engaged about 9 months before the wedding and so immediately began looking for a planner. We quickly learned that with our busy schedules we would not be able to do all of the coordination that we needed to make our day perfect. In the initial meeting/planning stages, Rachel was fun and easy to relate with, but with just the right amount of professionalism. She is EXTREMELY organized. She was tremendously helpful in seeing and executing our visions of what we wanted our wedding to be like. The entire experience from planning to wedding day was not stressful for us (sure, we were excited, perhaps a little nervous, but never stressful). As the groom, I knew that I wanted the wedding to be outdoors, on a lake if possible but am not particularly creative when it comes to design. Rachel and my wife exchanged countless emails, phone calls and text messages to be sure our developing vision was executed. On the wedding day, things went amazingly well. Rachel and her team (several women were there to assist all day) anticipated our every need, whether it was getting a bottle of water during the photo shoot or arranging a ride to the hotel after the reception. The thing I liked the most about working with Rachel and SGW is that they were able to take our style/personalities/tastes and make them their own. Because of that I felt like it was EVERYONE'S day, not just ours. If you are looking for a full-service wedding coordinator, definitely work with SGW!

When my fiance (now wife) and I began the wedding planning process, she mentioned that she wanted to locate a coordinator to assist as our wedding location was 1,700 miles away. While I wasn't thrilled at adding additional costs to an already tight budget, I agreed that it was good to have someone that knew the area. Good doesn't even begin to describe the value that Rachel (Sincerely Ginger) provided us. She and her team of interns made sure every aspect of our wedding was well planned and maintained. The actual day of the wedding was almost too perfect to describe. My mother and aunt who are typically 'all hands on' during family weddings, didn't know what to do with themselves as EVERYTHING was taken care of. Vendors, the ceremony, the reception, the transportation... everything. Sarah and I were able to truly enjoy the day and not have to worry about any of the details. Everything went off without a hitch. If the photographer is the most important aspect of a wedding in order to capture your amazing moments, Sincerely Ginger would be the second in order to create them. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone who asked.

I met Rachel sometime last year, immediately we hit it off. Rachel's ideas are impeccable and her style is timeless. I couldn't have found a more organized and professional planner. Rachel is one of the kindest people I have met, she truly puts the bride first. My whole family fell in love with Rachel! She designed the whole ceremony and reception and I had multiple people tell me that this was the prettiest wedding they have been to. Every time I found a picture online of something I liked, Rachel was able to find the real thing. I highly recommend her as your planner, you will not be disappointed. She was able to take my wedding to a whole other level and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work!

Rachel is so amazing to work with. She is very detail oriented and helped us to stay on track with our time line and with our budget. She took care of everything for us. We were never overwhelmed. Rachel helped us every step of the way. The day of the wedding was just so beautiful. We knew it was because of Rachel!!!!

Rachel was such a joy to work with! The services she provided for our daughter's wedding were very professional and creative. Rachel was very easy to work with, polite, and open to new ideas, making this special day so much easier and relaxed, even when a strong rain storm came through an hour before the outdoor ceremony! Thirty minutes later the sun shone brightly, chairs were wiped dry, and Rachel didn't miss a beat! The reception was beautiful, located in a rustic log pavilion made elegant with Rachel's floral arrangements, soft lighting and glowing candles. Rachel was amazing from beginning to end! She helped keep me calm when I would start to get overwhelmed. Everytime we would have a meeting I would walk out so excited and feeling like we accomplished tasks. Rachel can handle all the ideas a bride can have! I would start to explain what I wanted (even though I wasnt sure) and she had many many ideas I loved and used. My husband and I were working full time, so we had no time to be crafty. I wanted my wedding to feel personal with crafts, so Rachel took care of doing the physical work. I loved that! My theme was country and watercolors. She had her work cut out for her but she Loves planning weddings, so it was easy. She is organized and a step ahead. Rachel also took her time to help keep me on the our budget. She made it easier when she broke down all the costs on a spead sheet and explained the plan. I would have gone over budget not knowing. I'm not just Rachels client anymore, we are friends, because she was there for me during this speical time in my life. We had the best time planning my wedding!

Rachel was amazing. She helped my frazzeled wedding brain mind narrow down to what I truely liked and wanted in my wedding. When there was a dilemma she instantly came up with another idea and she was always on top of what was happening with our vendors. Always fun and bursting with energy!

We met with Rachel in late April to discuss plans for our intimate wedding at the end of July. Rachel was incredibly prepared, professional, and creative. She completely nailed our style without us even being able to fully articulate what it was that we wanted for our special day. She just got it. Event planning is her calling and incredible gift. She was able to envision the ambiance of the wedding and pinpoint what details would truly make the day. Something very special about Sincerely Ginger is how Rachel presents a succinct vision for the event to the client. She wrote up a moment-by-moment proposal of the wedding day. Sparing no detail, she created a glimpse into what our day would look like. It was amazing how in those couple hours at our initial consultation she had fully seen what was important to us. Along with the design proposal, she sent very helpful resources like a budget sheet and pre-wedding checklist. She was prompt when replying to emails and readily available for last minute concerns or freak-outs. Rachel had a plan for all of those loose ends when it came time for the wedding weekend. She was wonderful at communicating with everyone involved, from vendors to bridesmaids, about how everything was going to go down. She also did all of our floral design for us. She is very knowledgable about flower types and arranging techniques. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely incredible. Our wedding was a truly perfect reflection of our love for each other and the kind of experience we wanted for our guests. The elegant and rustic reception had been set up without us seeing any of it... it was like walking into a dream! The rest of the night could not have gone more smoothly. It was a whirlwind. A fabulous, incredible whirlwind. Rachel, we cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. I am tearing up just thinking about it. It was the best day of our lives.
