Sincerely Sini Photography is a wedding photography company based in Santa Barbara, CA. Self-confessed travel enthusiast and photographer Sini Choi jumps at the opportunity to capture destination weddings. Her style is a blend of artistic and photojournalistic techniques, and she strives to capture the day’s profound and perfect moments.
Sincerely Sini Photography was born out of a deep-seated desire for human connection. As a child, Sini emigrated to the US from South Korea and as a result, feels a deep sense of dual cultural identity. Keen to stay true to her Asian roots while also striving to fit into a new American environment, she experienced a moment of insight. Regardless of country, creed, or color, what unites us all as human beings is love. To that end, wedding photography became a vehicle for her considerable camera talent and her ability to truly channel humanity. She is motivated by the endless opportunities photography gifts to her. She gets to transform the fleeting moments of a couple’s day into lifelong mementos. She is inspired by everything from the Californian desert to urban night markets, and Impressionism to 1920’s street art.
With Sincerely Sini Photography, couples can expect a service that values their voice and their unique love story. Sini will listen and observe while striving to portray your authentic love story. Her’s is an approach steeped in subtly, warmth, and attention to detail. Above all, she enjoys catching candid moments of pure joy and emotion.
Sini understands that the idea of posing in front of a stranger is less than appealing to some newlyweds. For this reason, she arranges conversations and catch-ups either in person or via FaceTime and Skype in advance of official photoshoots. She prefers to let couples loosen up as she makes subtle suggestions and offers directional prompts instead of orchestrating forced poses. Couples can enjoy engagement sessions with this professional, and she is happy to document rehearsal dinners, too. Following the wedding celebrations, she subtly edits images and adds her signature finishing touches. Couples can look forward to albums and digital files after the main event. Sini also offers sharing opportunities across social media platforms.

ini has been nothing but accommodating, professional, cordial, and kind. She was able to work within our budget and intentionally carved out what worked for all of us. I was so incredibly blessed and moved by her heart and calm demeanor on the day of the wedding dealing with my parents and elders at the wedding.
I loved her calm demeanor and overall professional demeanor which also allowed me to feel calm and reassured that everything would work out. I can tell how much Sini loves her job and that her passion for capturing beautiful moments are simply so pure and genuine. She made this seamless for my husband and me and also towards for family. If it wasn't for her, not sure if I could've been as confident and collected at my wedding.
Her work and her steadfast eye reflect in the ways she works. I would recommend Sini to all my friends and family. I hope to work with her again in the future for upcoming life events. Thank you Sini and David! We could not have done this without you two.

From the beginning, Sini was so genuinely kind and truly such a pleasure to work with... we truly felt that we gained a friend through the process! Both my husband and I were feeling a bit nervous about our engagement session because we had never been photographed as a couple before and we felt we would be awkward. However, Sini made the whole process feel so comfortable & easy, which made us all the more confident that she would do an amazing job on our wedding day. When we got those engagement photos back we were truly wowed by her talent.. not only were the photos SO beautiful, but we felt that she really captured the essence of us so perfectly. Her creativity, professionalism, & artistry is truly unmatched. Our friends & family still talk about those photos to this day!
Sini was also very accommodating throughout the entire process.. even adjusting the ratio of film photos to fit our preferences after we sent some inspiration for our wedding. She took note of all the shots we wanted, and made sure to leave space for suggestions as well. She did a great job of directing us, our family, and wedding party as she took photos, making sure everyone had clear instructions on what to do, which allowed everyone to feel comfortable. She was honestly such an essential part of our wedding experience and we're incredibly grateful that we were able to work with her. We truly couldn't imagine having anyone else capture our special day.

with several photographers before meeting with Sini and immediately knowing she was the perfect fit! The day of the wedding, we barely noticed her and her assistant as they captured beautiful, honest, candid photos of us and our friends and families. They were sweet, sincere (not posed), intimate, FUNNY. The vast majority of our photos were taken without us noticing or having to participate, allowing us to stay in the moment and relish in the magic of the day.
I worked in the wedding industry for 12 years as a DJ and have attended over 500 weddings, so the last thing I wanted was to participate in staged photos. That said, we did do a 15-20 minute photoshoot during cocktail hour where Sini was fully capable of playing with us (and our elderly dog), offering direction when needed, and somehow managing to keep this portion free flowing and fun. (We are incredibly dumb human beings who definitely appreciated her playfulness and sense of humor).
Sini quickly delivered AMAZING photos that were creative, fun, sincere, captured the creativity in our details, and MOST OF ALL... offered such a beautiful snapshot of both our personalities and those of our cherished guests.
We are SO so happy we chose to go with Sini for our wedding and now have so so many keepsakes to help us remember the special day.

for location and outfits. We met for the first time in person for our engagement photoshoot but felt extremely comfortable working with her. Her personality really reflects her photography style - light and delicate. She gave us just enough directions in terms of posing but other let us have fun wandering around Sunset cliffs. What's even more incredible was she got our sneak peek pictures to us in just 4 days - and they were beautiful. Overall, I highly recommend her services!

ove looking back at our engagement photos and our families love our wedding photos. One thing that stood out with Sini's style of photography that was the deciding factor for us was how every photo showed movement and made our non-photogenic selves look amazing. My husband and I decided not to get a videographer for our weddding and we don't regret it at all because Sini did such a good job shooting every minute of it. It almost feels like a stop motion album. We will definitely use Sini again in the future for any sort of family photos. :)
