s to say with planning the wedding for not 1, but 2 years I might have purchased about 15 dresses. NONE of them were THE dress! She is my oldest of 11 and I wanted everything to be perfect! I went to Sincerely Susan 10 days before the wedding and found the PERFECT DRESSES for the rehearsal and the WEDDING! commitment. This meant that my dress was going to arrive after the wedding. Seeing my distress, two separate friends told me about Sincerely Susan. I wish I had known before the other dress, but I am blessed that they told me about this jewel of a dress shop in Old Town Lenexa. I booked an appointment the same day that I called Sincerely Susan. My stylist, Donna, listened carefully to my dress requirements. She brought me 3 dresses that were lovely. However, I only had eyes for the cobalt blue Ursala gown. Donna showed that she understood my body shape, because that dress fit perfectly with hemming and minor adjustments to the sleeves. The price was very reasonable. Based on what I saw Ursala gowns in similar styles, Sincerely Susan saved me a couple of hundred dollars! Donna referred me to Oak Park Tailors for the alterations. The fitting there was extremely pleasant, The whole process with Sincerely Susan was just amazing. If you live within driving distance of the Greater Kansas City Metro, it would pay you to make an appointment, especially if you are a woman who wears a larger size. Thank you to all of the good folks at Sincerely Susan in Lenexa, Kansas. You lowered my stress level and found a dress that made me feel wonderful.

Grandma was difficult to deal with (she is struggling with dementia) and they were so kind and patient with her and I think my fiance's mom and aunt (both took grandma to the appt) only survived that appointment because the person they worked with handled grandma so well. When it came time for my fiance's mom to find a dress, she knew that is where she wanted to get it from and found the perfect dress for herself there. She felt they were super efficient and listened to exactly what she was looking for and found several great options because they have such a good selection. Would definitely recommend them!!

y highly recommended. Sincerely Susan. We called and told them this was the only day my mom would be in town for quite a while and they said they could squeeze us in. We went straight over there and were greeted by the nicest people. Another group of ladies were leaving and they said "She's the best, You're going to love her!" And we totally did. She had us pick dresses in one area while she went to another area and grabbed more for my mom to try on. They even had those gurtle things to help flatten your stomach! It was amazing. First dress my mom tried on we loved and then after 7 or 8 more we found another one we loved. It was great, especially after being so discouraged after the other two stores. The dress my mom picked out had some beading and the owner does a lot of bead work so the three of us looked over the gown for any missing beads and marked them and it was just great. The ladies at Susan's are so friendly and helpful and really made our day. :> The prices were really reasonable too! If I ever have to buy another dress I'm shopping here.

a two color lace dress for excellent prices. While we were at our private appointment, I also picked out my rehearsal dinner and bridal shower dresses. Both were such a good deal I almost bought backups because I was that far under budget! I will start all my dress shopping there in the future and plan on going here again with my future MIL soon to find her dress. The store doubles as the holding room for all the dresses so there is not a lot of ambience, but the dressing rooms are great and Susan knows for to find the right dress for the occasion.

y afternoon in between errands. I didn't have an appointment, but there were also no other customers there at the time, so Susan helped me pick out a wedding dress. I told her my size, budget and color preference. I must have spent an hour at the store and tried on at least 10 different dresses, but I found two that I really liked. After comparing the two dresses, I bought one of them. It was well under my budget. I wore this dress to my wedding and got many compliments. I am planning to keep this dress for a long time. I would definitely go back to Sincerely Susan the next time I need a wedding gown. Just kidding! However, I would go back for an evening gown or a bridesmaid's dress.

I was never much of a shopper. For me, it's always been go to a store, pick something quickly and leave. Yesterday, at the urging of a friend, I went to see Susan to have her help me with pick a dress as Mother of the Groom. Oh, my goodness....

What a fabulous, fun, and relaxing (yes relaxing) experience. Susan is so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like I was Queen for a Day. When I arrived, she had already chosen some dresses, then we went through the racks and I picked out more. She knew what would look nice on me, I was not rushed, we laughed and visited the entire time. She treated me like a friend. The gals in the office were just as sweet and friendly. I will probably never have as much fun or good fortune in finding a lovely dress at a wonderful price, unless I visit Sincerely Susan.

hen we got there, the gal immediately greeted us and started pulling dresses in my mom's size and our preferred color. The first few dresses were misses, but as soon as she had a better feeling for the style/look we were going for, the selection was 10x better. When my mom finally put on "the dress" I knew it was the right one - my reaction to her wearing it might have been more emotional than when I tried on my wedding dress! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we walked out with a dress & shoes for my mom, plus 2 dresses for me, for my bridal shower and rehearsal! We will definitely be back to Sincerely Susan for any future dress shopping needs!
