Everything was so perfect. The staff is amazing. They truly did make sure that we had everything we wanted and exactly how we wanted it. Mike answered any questions I had throughout the whole process. And the switchover between ceremony and reception was flawless. Couldn't have asked for more.

The venue looked absolutely stunning and the amazing commentary that we have heard from some of our guests reinforces what we already knew; you are all caring & kind people, which was shown in every last detail that you made possible & ensured was taken care of for us! We held our wedding at the Sinclair last month and couldn’t say better things about our experience. The Carberrys are amazing, kind and responsive people who truly care about couples who get married at their venue. Our guests raved about the beauty of the space and how great their dinner was. Marc and his staff with Rosealies catering were so professional, helpful and attentive to nay of our needs before and during our wedding. Thank you Bob, Pat and Mike!!

We knew from our first moments on the property that this would be our wedding venue. The grounds are extremely well cared for and everything inside and out has been designed with amazing detail. We had a summer wedding and loved the church pews by the creek, and the inside space for the reception had so much natural light that you still felt like you were in nature. The bridal suite was INCREDIBLE! There are vanities all around for everyone in your party to get ready and we were able to get in early to start the hair and makeup process. Pat and Kelly were incredibly helpful in planning the layout of the reception as well as maintaining the flow of the day. They have done this so many times and are experts in knowing what works best in their space. They were present all day and were amazing day-of coordinators with our vendors and guests. Marc at Rosalie’s was also incredibly accommodating, we had a few guests with food allergies and he made meals that were delicious and perfect for each one. The cocktail hour food and buffet we chose was exceptional, it was really difficult to pick from Rosalie’s delicious menu!! One moment that stood out to me was that he made plates of the cocktail hour food for my husband and I when we left to go take pictures by Skaneateles Lake. We otherwise wouldn’t have eaten and were pretty ravenous at that point in the evening, so thank you Marc! We also hosted our wedding party at their Airbnb “The Hive” just down the street. This space was just the cherry on top of an amazing wedding weekend. We had plenty of space for our entire wedding party of 14, plus common space for parents and friends visiting while getting ready for our wedding. Kelly, Pat and Marc went above and beyond to make our experience extraordinarily special and we would highly recommend The Sinclair to anyone looking for the perfect venue.

Our daughter had her wedding reception at the Sinclair in November, and we cannot rave enough about how amazing this venue is. The property is stunning, both indoors and outdoors - guest after guest told us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. We had a cool fall evening, and everyone enjoyed the outdoor fireplaces. The bridal suite was a beautiful and comfortable place for the girls to get ready, and equipped with every last minute thing anyone could need. The food was delicious, Marc accommodated every request, and the Rosalie’s staff was amazing. What really sets the Sinclair apart from other pretty spots are the owners. Pat, Bob, and Mike were incredible to work with throughout the planning process and the weekend of the wedding. They had answers to questions we didn’t even know to ask! I cannot imagine a more perfect place for a wedding!

I was the MOB, our daughter’s wedding was in May at the Sinclair, and I’ve waited a couple of months to write this, to let some of the emotion die down. But even after 3 months, I can’t say enough to thank Pat, Bob, Mike, Kelly and everyone at the Sinclair for the outstanding service they provide (and you don’t know me, but I don’t use the word ‘outstanding’ very often!). When we toured the Sinclair, we were immediately struck by the uniqueness and beauty of the venue, but the service provided goes way beyond the physical venue. Pat, Bob and their family have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as elegant as you want, too. They worked tirelessly to make our wedding what we wanted it to be….so let me tell you what they provided. The 3rd floor area for our daughter and her attendants was unique and perfect! A great place to get ready and relax, to have hair and makeup done with the separate dressing tables. The outdoor setting for the ceremony is beautiful (and Pat was planting more flowers just the day before…”just a couple more”), but they had us set up for Plan B, too, as rain threatened. Our guests really enjoyed the cocktail hour outdoors, too, with not just fabulous food (more on that later) but with several very comfortable gathering areas set up around the grounds. What to say about the setting for the reception, the 1st and 2nd floors, that hasn’t been said already? Even after 3 months, I am in awe of how beautiful it is, how Pat and family have restored and renovated such a unique place. Don’t over-decorate! Let the beauty come through… You may think you’d like to be able to choose the caterer, but I’m telling you there are so many benefits to having Rosalie’s be the only vendor the Sinclair works with! First and foremost, the food is outstanding, and Marc and his staff are wonderful to work with. Almost as important is that the relationship between the Sinclair and Rosalie’s is solid…they know each other, back each other, and everything runs like clockwork. I can’t emphasize enough how important this is. Finally, if you have the opportunity, rent The Hive, too. Pat and Bob own it, and it’s comfortable, convenient and economical. It’s only 1/2 mile from the Sinclair, has multiple bedrooms/bathrooms and absolutely beats living out of a couple of hotel rooms. The bride and groom stayed in the small cottage that’s on the same property, giving them the privacy they deserved. We’ll forever be thankful we stumbled across the Sinclair! I can’t think of a single thing I’d have changed or wished was different about our event, and Pat, Bob, Mike and Kelly are a reason for that sentiment.

Starting our forever at The Sinclair of Skaneateles was truly a dream come true. From beginning to end, we felt incredibly well taken care of. We were in the best of hands throughout the entire experience. There was no doubt in our minds that we picked the right place to have our wedding. The folks at the Sinclair went above and beyond to make sure our day was just as we envisioned. When our wedding day came, it was magical. Absolute perfection in every way possible. Our guests raved about their experience and now they all want to have their weddings at the Sinclair too! To anyone who is considering this wonderful venue, do not hesitate to book your wedding here. This place is truly one of a kind and filled with wonderful people who make you feel like family right from the beginning. We already miss them so much and can't wait to visit again on our anniversary next June. We cannot thank them enough for everything they've done for us. We sincerely loved every part of our experience all the way through.

My husband and I were married at the Sinclair in October and it was truly a dream come true. The moment we walked into the Sinclair when touring wedding venues we knew it was the one. We first fell in love with the Sinclair for its beauty, but we quickly learned it’s beauty fell second to the impeccable service from all of their staff, staff that feels more like friends than wedding vendors. They made the entire wedding planning process so easy and fun, while making sure our day was exactly what we wanted. We did both the ceremony and reception at the Sinclair and it was the best day of our lives thus far. We also chose to stay at the Hive with our wedding party that weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. We HIGHLY recommend anyone planning a wedding chooses the Sinclair, you absolutely will not regret it!

Magical!! Run, don't walk, to this venue if you are looking for a wedding location in the Central New York/ Finger Lakes region. You will be hard pressed to find a more charming location. The property includes a babbling brook located just behind the lovely arbor, antique pews set on a beautifully manicured lawn surrounded by stunning perennials, a lovely stone patio for cocktails including fireplaces and twinkle lights, and the most amazing three story stone building for dinner and dancing. Marc Albino, owner/chef of Rosalie's Cucina, is the exclusive caterer for the Sinclair. Marc's staff is professional and top notch, while the food is truly the best Central New York has to offer. The Sinclair of Skaneateles is a unique and remarkable place. Pat, Kelly, Bob and Mike are the real deal. Genuine, competent, kind individuals who take the time to make every bride and groom (and their families) feel calm, cared for and special. The Sinclair of Skaneateles is perfect.

My wife and I had such an all around positive experience with the Sinclair (Pat and Mike) as well as the caterer/chef, Rosalie’s Cucina (Marc). The venue was absolutely perfect and so beautiful and well-appointed that we didn’t have to do much decorating to make it exactly what we wanted. The Sinclair was flexible, helpful, and so informative on all of our questions as we navigated trying to safely host the wedding we always wanted despite some tricky circumstances. The food was absolutely incredible and Marc worked with us to make sure we had all the special appetizers and drinks we wanted, even though they weren’t on the menu. The Skaneateles area is beautiful, too, and a great town to host a wedding. We can’t thank the Sinclair and Rosalie’s enough for everything they did to make our wedding day great.

My husband and I got married at Sinclair of Skaneateles in May. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the owners and staff were incredibly helpful! They made our day perfect and were so easy to work with. Our wedding fell on a warm spring day and our guests were able to use every part of the venue including all of the outdoor fire pits and lounges. We were also able to have the majority of our wedding party stay at the Hive just down the street from the venue. We would highly recommend the Sinclair for any wedding or event!

The Sinclair is a Skaneateles hidden gem. I'm still surprised I had never heard of this venue before planning our big day. The moment we walked in the door to view the space, my husband and I were in love. The more Pat and Kelly walked us around the more incredible it seemed and we ended up canceling all of our other venue appts that day and signed on the dotted line. From the indoor ceremony/reception area to the third floor bridal party prep room to their rental house the Hive, it could not have been more gorgeous or perfect! Not to mention Rosalie's is the exclusive caterer? Shut up and take my money.

We could not feel luckier to have had our wedding at the Sinclair of Skaneateles. Planning a wedding during COVID is full of mixed emotions. However, the entire staff at the Sinclair went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident that our wedding would not only happen safely, but would stay true to our intentions and dreams for our big day. The venue and rental property (The Hive) were beautiful and perfect for our weekend needs! We were able to host both the rehearsal and day of activities with full social distancing and safety measures in place. Marc of Rosalie's was great to work with and his creative solutions to the changing COVID guidelines were life savers! Thank you Sinclair team for not only making our wedding day (and weekend!) perfect, but for helping us realize all there is to gain from an unexpected change in plans!

Sinclair of Skaneateles was the most charming spot to host an elegant couples shower for my son and future daughter in law. With snow on the ground, fire places lit, Christmas lights and candles galore..... it was simply stunning ! The owners were a pleasure to work with, so helpful and accommodating! Marc Albino at Rosalie’s Cucina catered a 5 star meal with impeccable attention to detail in every way! Thank you so much for making this a memorable and lovely experience for us all!

My fiancé’s parents hosted our couples’ shower at the Sinclair and it was absolutely STUNNING. Not only is the building beautiful and unique, but the decor and venue staff were perfect. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces were just gorgeous and Marc at Rosalie’s Cucina knocked it out of the park with our dinner menu. We could not be more pleased to have had a beautiful, safe, wedding event - thank you Sinclair staff!!

The Sinclair was impeccable! I cannot recommend them enough!!! The venue itself was stunning, but the people that operate Sinclair are what make it truly special. Not only were they beyond helpful, attentive, kind, and professional throughout my entire experience with them, but they were happy and willing to do whatever I wanted or needed. All my wedding guests couldn't stop raving about how wonderful the people and the setting were, and it was all thanks to them that we had such a magical evening! You will have a hard time finding anything better than them!

Choosing the Sinclair was the BEST decision my husband and I made for our wedding. When we first went to visit, it was still under major renovation, but we could already tell it was going to be something special. We put our full confidence in the owners and their vision, and decided to book! In the year and a half before our wedding, Pat, Bob and Kelly were so helpful to us, and open to any ideas we had. They invited us to come visit and bring family members any time we wanted. Every time we came, there was something new they were excited to show us. They gave us advice and were always very responsive and helpful. I cannot say enough about them. The day of our wedding was a complete dream. Our guests loved the venue. There are so many unique features this place has that really brought everything together. We did not need to spend a lot of money on decorations because the place is already so beautiful and the owners have taken great care to add details like the see-through fireplace, iron railings, and “S” mosaic. (To name a few.) The outdoor pews really added a new level of sophistication to our ceremony. One of my favorite parts was the third floor where the bridesmaids get ready. We got some amazing pictures up there, and it was such a relaxing atmosphere. Everything looked beautiful and went so smoothly. Again, everyone at the venue was super helpful. I would 100% recommend booking the Sinclair for your wedding if you have the opportunity. Our wedding would not have been the same anywhere else!

My husband and I got married at the Sinclair this past weekend and we cannot speak more highly of this place and it’s owners! We booked with the Sinclair way back in November of 2016. The first time we toured the building, it was completely torn back to the studs. Pat, Bob, Kelly, and their families have put so much hard work into this venue over these past few years and it all turned out beautifully! They allowed us to visit the venue as often as we wanted to see how the construction was coming along. They truly treat you like family and make sure you are comfortable as you prepare for your big day. Our wedding guests all were blown away with the beauty of the venue. Pat, Bob, and Kelly’s communication is wonderful and if you are planning a wedding, please consider looking into the Sinclair! You will not regret it!

We cannot say enough about Bob & Pat and our entire experience at the Sinclair. Our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. The Sinclair was the second venue we walked into in the summer of 2017 and right then and there we picked our date and were married there on June 16th, 2018. Bob, Pat and their entire team worked tirelessly answering our emails, calls and texts (planning from out of state), and keeping us updated on all the new additions and renovations on the property. Not only did we love it, all of our guests did as well. Everyone at our wedding commented on how beautiful the venue was. The venue speaks for itself, we added lots of candles for our evening ceremony, but minimal flowers and décor and it was so beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and visit next time we are back in NY!

Absolutely perfect venue for our wedding! The owners are a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful and accommodating. We also held our rehearsal dinner and morning after brunch there, and again it was perfect. We loved everything about the Sinclair!!!
