tainly choose Ayesha. Her work is flawless and worth every penny (and she is pricey!). I would also recommend her to all desi brides! All that said there are a couple of things I would like to point out: she was 40 minutes late to our appointment on the day of my wedding and did not call to say she was running late. I was confident that our coordinators at Smithtown Landing Country Club would come through if anything went south with any of our vendors, so I wasn’t truly panicking, but was extremely annoyed at Ayesha’a tardiness. She also did not apologize when she finally arrived. She was confident she could do the work in the shorter time and she did a magnificent job, but it was tough waiting for her. Second, when she came back to do my touch-ups a few hours later, she rushed them because she had booked another wedding. Knowing that I required touch-ups (I booked her several months prior to my wedding), she still booked another wedding after mine and rushed out. When I asked her to help me set my bracelets during the touch-ups (I changed my jewelry and was having trouble closing the clasps) she just told me to do it myself. Later, my bracelet fell off while I was dancing. Jewelry setting was part of the agreement, but I felt she rushed that as well. She did set my hair piece and that stayed on all night, didn’t move a single centimeter. Ayesha also did my mother’s hair & makeup which was fantastic! Overall, the work she does is excellent, but definitely don’t expect more than what she wants to give you. She has no qualms rushing a bride, doesn’t go above and beyond, can be late, and is not the most organized. On the day of my trial, for example, she had another prospective client whose appointment overlapped with mine. Ayesha had no idea she had double-booked and started rushing me out halfway though my appointment. I booked her even though my bun fell as I walked out her door on the day of the trial. Her work was just that good and no one else came close.
