At the age of 16, Sissi fell in love with the way people would smile at their reflection when she had finished working her magic. Fueled by this passion, Sissi and her team have honed their skills, working on weddings, red carpets, fashion campaigns, and many editorial beauty shoots. Sissi Hair and Makeup have a wealth of experience with various aesthetics and styles, making them a perfect choice for your wedding day. Sissi Hair and Makeup will be on hand on your big day to do your makeup and hair and those of your wedding party. Depending on what works best for you and what you want, these professionals can provide you with either traditional or airbrush makeup. Sissi may also create a complementing hairstyle to elevate your look, and lash and hair extension applications are available. Should you wish to test out the concept, the team can arrange a trial to collaborate and discuss the look; however, this is not required for booking. Touch-ups are available on request and subject to availability for an extra fee.

She also is very communicative the whole time that she is working with you, so that you can be confident that you are getting your desired look. She has so much patience, is incredibly attentive to detail, will spend hours making sure that you look perfect, and is just an amazingly sweet and wonderful person to spend time with on your wedding day! Her team is also really responsive over email or by phone. Whenever I reached out, I would get an answer within minutes. When you are stressed planning a wedding and are coordinating with a bunch of vendors, this is so critical. It really went a long way in making everything go more smoothly, especially in the last few weeks before my wedding. You seriously cannot go wrong with Sissi and her team. She made me feel so beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted all night (despite an insane amount of dancing)!
It has taken me over a year to write this because I wanted to be fair. The truth is, I looked beautiful on my wedding day. My hair and makeup were flawless. Sissi’s team arrived...
on time, and did a great job. So why isn’t this a 5 star review-because of the way she made me feel and because she refused to do what I asked for at first on both the day of the trial and my wedding day, making me extremely late. I was 48. Sissi repeatedly told me what a “mature” bride should and shouldn’t do, and then went on to do as she pleased, feeling she had to adjust because of my age. I am comfortable with my age and how I look. I know what I am and what I’m not, and also what I want. On trial day, I showed Sissi several photos of the makeup look I wanted. “Mature brides can’t achieve that look,” so Sissi did what she thought was best. I didn’t like it, and insisted she try it my way on one eye (which she admitted looked better). I also have short thin hair, which frazzled and puzzled her. It took her hours to figure out how to work with it (despite several extensions). So I never had a full makeup or hair photo from the trial. On my wedding day, She began with me before 11am (with me showing her the one eye photo and hair image) and didn’t finish until past 4. My trial had been only 1 week before. She AGAIN did what she wanted with makeup, only to have to fix it. And my hair took hours. During this time, she mentioned mature brides and my age countless times, and made numerous negative comments about my thin hair, aged skin, wrinkles, etc. At the end, I looked perfect, but she hadn’t made me feel pretty, excited or even happy in the process. And getting her to do what I asked was a battle, one that made me 2 hours late. Despite cushion time, I had to rush my first look (guests saw me) and missed countless photos. So if you are a first time bride with long and flowy hair, Sissi is very talented. If you are a non-traditional bride, I’d go with someone who doesn’t find make that the focus of your experience.

Sissi and her team also make the getting ready experience feel comfortable and fun. Sissi was scheduled to leave around 1-1:30 and stayed over an hour past that to make sure my veil was perfectly placed before I left to the church. She really cares about making your getting ready experience wonderful and made me feel calm on the day of my wedding.

She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, for my wedding and for my trash the dress session. I have very thin and shoulder length hair, but Sissi was able to do two beautiful updos and make my hair look full and beautiful each time. My makeup was perfect and lasted all day intact!!! She always arrived on time and was extremely professional. The day of my wedding she and her team were able to pull off doing 14 services and have us ready by 11:30am (in ~4hrs). Don't think twice; book Sissi for your wedding, she is THE BEST in Miami!
