Sissi Hair and makeup

Sissi is an incredibly talented and absolutely fantastic hair and makeup artist. I could not more highly recommend her! For starters, she is incredibly invested in making you look and feel exactly the way that you want. She asks you lots of questions to make sure she understands what you want. She also is very communicative the whole time that she is working with you, so that you can be confident that you are getting your desired look. She has so much patience, is incredibly attentive to detail, will spend hours making sure that you look perfect, and is just an amazingly sweet and wonderful person to spend time with on your wedding day! Her team is also really responsive over email or by phone. Whenever I reached out, I would get an answer within minutes. When you are stressed planning a wedding and are coordinating with a bunch of vendors, this is so critical. It really went a long way in making everything go more smoothly, especially in the last few weeks before my wedding. You seriously cannot go wrong with Sissi and her team. She made me feel so beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted all night (despite an insane amount of dancing)!

It has taken me over a year to write this because I wanted to be fair. The truth is, I looked beautiful on my wedding day. My hair and makeup were flawless. Sissi’s team arrived on time, and did a great job. So why isn’t this a 5 star review-because of the way she made me feel and because she refused to do what I asked for at first on both the day of the trial and my wedding day, making me extremely late. I was 48. Sissi repeatedly told me what a “mature” bride should and shouldn’t do, and then went on to do as she pleased, feeling she had to adjust because of my age. I am comfortable with my age and how I look. I know what I am and what I’m not, and also what I want. On trial day, I showed Sissi several photos of the makeup look I wanted. “Mature brides can’t achieve that look,” so Sissi did what she thought was best. I didn’t like it, and insisted she try it my way on one eye (which she admitted looked better). I also have short thin hair, which frazzled and puzzled her. It took her hours to figure out how to work with it (despite several extensions). So I never had a full makeup or hair photo from the trial. On my wedding day, She began with me before 11am (with me showing her the one eye photo and hair image) and didn’t finish until past 4. My trial had been only 1 week before. She AGAIN did what she wanted with makeup, only to have to fix it. And my hair took hours. During this time, she mentioned mature brides and my age countless times, and made numerous negative comments about my thin hair, aged skin, wrinkles, etc. At the end, I looked perfect, but she hadn’t made me feel pretty, excited or even happy in the process. And getting her to do what I asked was a battle, one that made me 2 hours late. Despite cushion time, I had to rush my first look (guests saw me) and missed countless photos. So if you are a first time bride with long and flowy hair, Sissi is very talented. If you are a non-traditional bride, I’d go with someone who doesn’t find make that the focus of your experience.

I loved my hair and make up trial and was even more in love with my look on wedding day! All my bridesmaids also loved their hair and make up. I’m so happy with her services and would recommend her to any bride!!!

I cannot say enough about Sissi and her team! Amazing service, vibe and work. I did my trial with Sissi and couldn’t wait for my wedding day. I was so calm and at ease knowing mine and my girls looks were in her hands. She is so professional and sweet. She made sure not a strand was out of place and made me feel so beautiful. My make up lasted all night long and my picky mom was even satisfied with her hair and make up. Sissi was amazing throughout the whole day and made us feel so comfortable. You will not regret booking with her!

We hired Sissi to do our hair and makeup for our bridal party! She did my hair and it did not move the entire night, it was perfection! Sissi and her team are wonderful!

The women Sissi has hired to be on her team and represent her are amazing!!! They work hard, and are passionate about what they do. They were prompt and professional in every aspect, were just being a bunch of girls listening to music and talking while get gorgeous. I'd highly recommend getting fake lashes, usually I am against them but for your wedding day, they really make your eyes pop! My makeup came out fantastic and lasted the entire night as did my girls hair and makeup! I'm so thankful I stumbled upon Sissi's makeup page on Instagram!!!

Sissi and her team of hair and makeup artists are rock stars! They were so fun, so friendly, and most importantly.. SO GOOD!! They made me and my girls look absolutely stunning. They worked with all different skin types and hair types and made each one of us look and feel beautiful. It's not easy waking up at 5am, but they made it worth while. My makeup lasted 24 hours, and it still looked flawless at the after party. 100% recommend. THANK YOU LADIESS!!!!

My hair and makeup stylist, Enly, did a fantastic job! Very punctual for both my wedding and trial. She kept working and tweaking every hair strand/altering shades of eye shadow until it was exactly the look I wanted. Sissi herself was excellent at scheduling and accommodating me last minute and finding the best team for my bridal party!

So Sissi and her team initially did my hair and makeup for my cousins wedding and I absolutely adored each of them and the work they did for all of us so I just had to book her for my own special day and I sure am glad I did! I trust her and the team 100%.... everyone complimented my hair and makeup all night because I still looked like myself o didn’t have 50Ibs of makeup on and my hair looking like a disaster. Sissi knee what would look best for me and what would match with the dress style and the atmosphere of our wedding.

Sissi and her team did an amazing job on my Bridal party and I. I normally have very oily skin, but the makeup she completed on me lasted all night through sweat, happy tears, and kisses from the groom.

Let me start out by saying that I am naturally a picky person. I am very particular when it comes to certain things and I have worked with hair and make up artists in the past, but Sissi and her team are the best of the best! If you are searching for a hair and makeup artist for your wedding, look no further- Sissi is your girl! She made me and my girls look absolutely stunning on my wedding day, I felt like a queen with a flower crown. My aunt, who never wears makeup looked like an absolute doll. And my mom transformed into a completely different woman! Sissi did such an amazing job, I am so grateful for her and the services she provided. She went above and beyond, and I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I would recommend her x's 1000 and can't wait to use her again in the future!

Sissi made me look and feel like an absolute star on my wedding day. At the trial, she really takes the time to nail what you want your hair to look like. She gives recommendations but ultimately gives you exactly what you ask for and you leave feeling beautiful! Sissi and her team also make the getting ready experience feel comfortable and fun. Sissi was scheduled to leave around 1-1:30 and stayed over an hour past that to make sure my veil was perfectly placed before I left to the church. She really cares about making your getting ready experience wonderful and made me feel calm on the day of my wedding. My bridesmaids, mom and I were complimented the entire night about how awesome our hair and makeup look. Not a hair was out of place at the end of the night. I highly recommend Sissi and her entire team for South Florida brides. I will be recommending her to friends and using her for future events as well!

She is so sweet and gives advice on certain products. She takes her time and truly listens to what the bride or other ladies want. She didn’t make me look caky or someone I’m not. I can truly say Sissi is the best at what she does. I've used many HMUA in the past and no one has ever made me feel as beautiful as Sissi did on my wedding day. What can i say... Sissi and her team surpassed all of my expectations. My wedding was this last Saturday and i am forever thankful for Sissi for making me the prettiest bride! I have NEVER felt more beautiful and i owe it all to Sissi! These group of ladies were so nice and sweet! They were also super fun, not only did i love them but my bridesmaids as well! I fell in love with Sissi's work since the day of my hair and makeup trial for my wedding. On my wedding day my hair and make up was flawless. I felt beautiful. It was just as I wanted it. Sissi and her assistant Dayana did beautiful work for my wedding. Sissi did my hair and makeup and I have never felt more beautiful. The makeup comes across flawless in my photos. I tend to have sensitive skin but the way she applies makeup is so delicate, even the fake eyelashes felt comfortable! They did a great job working with my flower girls and junior bridesmaids as well.

I wish I could give Sissi more than 5 stars. She is wonderful! She is very creative and works magic with her hands. I am so happy, fortunate and blessed that she was my makeup artist and hair stylist! From day one, she was very responsive and very professional and so easy to work with. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She took her time to make me look perfect for my wedding. I didn't have time to do a trial before the wedding but I trusted Sissi wholeheartedly to create my bridal look and it was perfect! She has a lovely personality and has such a calm presence and sweet demeanor, you can't help but love her. Sissi, thank you so much for creating the perfect look for me, for making me beautiful and for adding to the magic of the weekend, we loved having you!!

Sissi and her team were incredible to work with. Always available to answer any questions you may have up to your special day. They also provided you with a timeline for hair and makeup which helps tremendously! Everyone was ready with time to spare! Sissi is such a professional. She will make sure you look fabulous and your very very best on your special day.

After she did our makeup, lets just say everyone even past brides said they wish they had met Sissi before for their own wedding day, she is simply the best, on time, professional, funny, sweet and will make you look stunning, even to the point that our photographer asked who was the makeup artist when he saw the makeup on the bride, absolute perfection! Will do the makeup you request, will make sure the amount of people even if its a lot they all get what they wanted of coarse her special attention towards the bride is non comparable. Her team is just like her professional and on gimme, adapts to any requests and of coarse they will make you look like red carpet ready for any event! Even on bad quality phones her makeup is just amazing. You will not regret it, I will be calling her for the future again

Sissi and her Team are fabulous! I met Sissi 1.5 yrs before my wedding at a wedding show and I fell in lover with the hair and makeup she was exhibiting with a model. I went online and looked at her reviews and since they were all positive I decided to contract her for my wedding, I booked Sissi well over a year before my wedding and I am so glad I did!!! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, for my wedding and for my trash the dress session. I have very thin and shoulder length hair, but Sissi was able to do two beautiful updos and make my hair look full and beautiful each time. My makeup was perfect and lasted all day intact!!! She always arrived on time and was extremely professional. The day of my wedding she and her team were able to pull off doing 14 services and have us ready by 11:30am (in ~4hrs). Don't think twice; book Sissi for your wedding, she is THE BEST in Miami!
