I discovered my love for florals unexpectedly when I started learning how to arrange for my own wedding. It was a magical moment when I created my own bouquet with luscious, wine-hued peonies, blush roses, cascading amaranthus and hand-dyed silk ribbons and I’ve been madly in love since.
I am captivated by the earth in its lush, abundant form. I create with a loose, organic style and try to tether the wild tendencies of nature in my arrangements. I am inspired by color and how it can softly change in a single blossom and am fascinated by variations of texture that can make an arrangement look as though it is alive.

husband and me. As we described our vision, she was able to bring up pictures of what we wanted. She identified the flowers we had already fallen in love with and gave us an honest appraisal of which ones would likely be available and affordable for our winter wedding.
After the meeting, she sent us the first estimate and was sensitive to our budget, indicating areas where we could cut costs.
About a month out from the wedding we realized we had some extra money from savings in other areas and decided to put this toward our floral budget. Katie was flexible and able to accommodate our last minute request. We also conveyed that we wanted only silver and no gold at our event. Katie was able to finagle our rentals to match our color scheme. (A more difficult task than you might imagine.)
The day of, Katie was on time and was able to create the wedding of our dreams. She and her assistant helped set our tables and even did chandelier decorations in record times. The bouquets were exactly as I imagined. Katie was a big part of making this one of the best days ever. I would hire her again for any future event.

I was probably a bit of a pain, making little changes here and there up a week before the wedding and she was so accommodating and made me feel like it was no issue at all, which obviously as a bride in the final week or two is SO appreciated!
