Sam and his team were absolutely instrumental in helping us achieve and enjoy the wedding of our dreams. Right from the start, he was communicative, clear, and incredibly easy to work with. As an incredibly emotional and anxious bride, Sam also offered plenty of words of encouragement throughout the whole "getting ready/prep for the first look" thing, which was incredibly comforting. And the video we received at the end of it all can speak for itself, too! Overall, the whole experience of working with Sam and SJK Productions was worth every penny we spent. Sam and Troy with SJK were absolutely phenomenal to work with for our wedding! They are both laid back, easy going guys, which made our wedding day run even more smoothly. Sam is not only a talented videographer, he is an awesome person. Let's start with his talent...He provided us with a short teaser within a few days of our wedding. It was great to see action shots while the moments and day were still fresh. It was so well made that we knew the final product would be everything we hoped for. When we got our full video, my husband and I had tears in our eyes. What Sam captured was remarkable. He had so many little details on film. He paired the energy in the music with the visuals perfectly. Not only that, there were a few things we wanted to add to our video and he didn't hesitate to make it happen. On to the person... Our wedding day was so hot and humid that we ended up walking in to the venue's freezer to cool off and he went with it. While the heat was miserable, he kept us on schedule and made jokes to help distract us. While he is all business when it comes to his craft, he is also a person that is so easy to get along with and is exactly the type of person you want to spend a lot of your wedding day with. We are so thankful we went with Sam!

Leading up to the big day, Sam was an excellent communicator and allowed us add three hours of filming to our wedding day with only a few days notice. Sam was the best videographer we could have asked to film our wedding. He went above and beyond and always put us and first -- and kept us at ease while everything was moving a mile a minute. It rained on our day, but Sam captured it all so beautifully and the videos were perfect! We got married in June and we got the social media teaser a couple weeks later, and the rest early August which really helped with the wedding blues! I could not say enough about how great Sam and SJK Productions was for our wedding! We never met in person until the big day, but SJK came highly recommended and was very communicative so it was an easy choice for us. He was very amenable to a few edits where my husband and I didn’t like the way we looked and went above and beyond to make us both, who hate pictures and video of ourselves, feel very comfortable during all the videography/photography portions. THE BEST OF THE BEST! Where do I even begin? I could never say enough good things about Sam + the rest of the SJK Productions crew! Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic was less than ideal, but Sam was absolutely incredible to work with. We had to postpone our original wedding date, and then 4 weeks before the new wedding date, we had to change our wedding venue. With every change, SJK Production made it happen. Sam + Troy are stand up guys, and are so dang talented. Our wedding video left my husband + I with goosebumps, tears, and huge smiles. In fact, we watched it 4 times over the first night we got it. Sam and the entire team at SJK Production had been nothing but amazing for our wedding. We had attended two weddings before, in Traverse City where SJK Productions did that bride and grooms videography. Seeing the results from those weddings we knew we had to book them for our wedding in 2020. SJK is amazing! We are so thrilled with how our wedding videos turned out. When we first started looking for a videographer, we were dead set on having the footage of our vows and speeches, along with having a little highlight video to easily watch and relive the day. SJK was one of the few videographers that had a package including all three of those things. Sam was super responsive from the get go, which is quite amazing while you’re planning a wedding. Sam walked through our expectations before booking to ensure we were aligned, and then again shortly before the wedding, not that he needed to – he’s a quite a whiz with knowing what shots will look good and how to capture them. Come time for wedding day, Sam was so nice and great to have around all day! After the fact, he turned out a teaser trailer in just two days…two days! And delivered our full highlight reel quicker than expected, even with accommodating some of the changes we requested after the first draft. My husband initially didn’t want to hire a videographer, but now says it was the best decision we made in our planning process. I swear we watch out video at least one a month, just reliving the day that SJK captured so well. All in all, you should use SJK for your wedding videography – you will be so thrilled!
