The name of the venue comes from Norse mythology, where Skadi means "ski-goddess," and is represented by a fierce, independent figure traveling the snowy mountains on skis. Gista is the old Norse term for "lodging," and when the two words combine, they create a welcoming space for you and your guests to share throughout the wedding weekend. Skadi Gista can accommodate up to 12 people, and features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and more than 7,000 square feet of space to spread out and unwind.
