My wife and I could not have been happier with our wedding experience at Skadi Gista! The property is truly magnificent. The view is exceptional, looking down the valley towards Steamboat Springs. It is close enough to town for easy access, while feeling completely removed for privacy. I particularly loved the unique intricacies of the house, showing the thoughtful design and care that went into curating this space. The host, Tim, deserves his own 5 stars! He was absolutely wonderful to work with, incredibly accommodating, even when we had a last minute request, and is overall a genuine, kind, and fun person. We had our wedding here in July of 2026 and it was truly the perfect venue. We had the most amazing weekend and could not imagine getting married anywhere else. The owners were so helpful and responsive and all of our guests were in awe of the place. The house is fully stocked and has everything you could want or need to have a successful wedding. I have zero negative feedback and can’t wait to go back and visit.

Escape to the Rockies on Your Wedding Day Skadi Gista is a rustic mountain lodge and intimate wedding venue in Oak Creek, CO. 6 bedrooms means the wedding party can stay on site. 3 sets of washers and dryers, 3 dishwashers, full bar with ice-maker and wine fridge. rustic charm, modern comforts, and unmatched views of the Gore Range, including the Steamboat Ski Resort slopes. As well as being the perfect base for hikers and skiers, it is also a place designed for relaxation, reconnection, and making memories that last a lifetime. Skadi Gista The name of the venue comes from Norse mythology, where Skadi means "ski-goddess," and is represented by a fierce, independent figure traveling the snowy mountains on skis. Gista is the old Norse term for "lodging," and when the two words combine, they create a welcoming space for you and your guests to share throughout the wedding weekend. Skadi Gista can accommodate up to 12 people, and features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and more than 7,000 square feet of space to spread out and unwind. The venue lies just 20 minutes (16 miles) away from the world-famous Steamboat Ski Resort.
